Where is everybody today? Sloooooow day. 'ZZZZZ LOL
Not a matter of "if" For we know its there, no question. But a matter of how much, and whether what we have will
continue to increase as the mud works its way out. This is terribly exciting and I hope it really goes to 1000 bopd or more, which is not unreasonable.
Waiting is hard. But the rewards will come to those who wait.
13?? leases in ND at 33%?? Awesome!
WC2
Not a clue. Perhaps someone who's been there and done that can shed some light of the process.
Didn't Tom say that both Mesa and Wanner should be complete by the end of the year?
1000 BOPD would be fine with me. And its not outside reason when Wanner gets cleaned up.
WC2
I was really asking because I'd heard different opinions and I'd like to know myself. Spindletop would be hard to beat:
Exhausted after 2 months of strenuous drilling, the crew shut down for a week over the Christmas holiday, 1900, having reached a depth of 880 feet. When they arrived back on site on New Year's Day, 1901, they were energized, and within a week drilled down to a depth of 1,020 feet. After pulling the drill out to change some equipment, they started to lower it back in. The day was January 10, 1901. After lowering it back into the open hole to a depth of about 700 feet, a full 17 hours since the last "drilling" had actually occurred, mud started bubbling back up the hole. Seconds later, the drill pipe shot out of the ground with great force, and then...nothing happened.
After a short time, the frustrated and confused drillers set about to clean up the mess and see if anything could be salvaged. All of a sudden, a noise like a cannon shot came from the hole, and mud came shooting out of the ground like a rocket. Within a few seconds, natural gas, then oil followed. The oil "gusher" - greenish-black in color, doubled the size of the drilling derrick, rising to a height of more than 150 feet (about 50 meters). This was more oil than had ever been seen anywhere in the entire world. Captain Lucas had been hopeful that this well might produce 5 barrels per day. In fact, this well, "Lucas 1", flowed at an initial rate of nearly 100,000 barrels per day, more than all of the other producing wells in the United States COMBINED!
GO EDEX!
California was the largest ever
Who was it that said that the Conoco well in ND was one of the largest producers (ever?) ??
What was larger?
Yup! As soon as possible. LOL
Seen CHNR today? Not too soon EDEX!
Anyone know when the ND oil will officially start pumping?
WC2
LOL Harsch
This board will be better AND more civil now that "Wyatt Erp" TopHat is now in town. Besides, when the SP starts rising, complaining will be much harder to do.
Congradulations Tophat. Maybe this board can get back to the it used to be. Thanks so much for taking this responcibility!

I've known guys who made pretty good money selling used cars... Get an honest and upfront guy and he will build a loyal base.
At the same time, brokers have offered me numerous "winners". The first thing I ask is, "What do they do?" If they can't say that, it's not worth my time.
I will happily promote EDEX because I believe in EDEX. From what I've DDed and observed I have faith in Tony, Clayton, and Tom. I am not blind to the risks involved. But I believe they're as honest as any man. Certainly more honest than some of the posters I've read here. Clayton, Calvin and Tony take their Christian faith very seriously. They hold themselves accountable to a higher being. They are just hard working boys with humble consciences who want to do a do job and a good says work. These men trust Tom, with whom they work day by day. Would they work with someone they didn't trust? This spiritual basis helps confirm my opinion of their integrity. Integrity is important. It doesn't mean they'll be right and won't drill dry holes. But it does mean that you'll get a fair shake and be treated honestly. That is a great incentive for me, and a far cry from what you typically find in the oil field business.
Keeping the faith.
WC2 (Go Tony! Go Clayton! Go Calvin! Go Tom! Go EDEX!)
Jagman, its all a matter of supply and demand. Promoting something in which you believe. I'm not ashamed to promote the company I have MUCH invested in. Its the American way of life. The word needs to get out about EDEX. Edex is the little fish in a big ocean. When people know, people buy; the price goes up. The Monday PR will be well timed for those who initiate their DD because of this promotion. It would be ill timed and inconceivable if bad news was coming. This tells me we will have good news.
WC2
"Shouldn't they wait until they had good news?"
Actually I think that hiring this firm exudes confidence that they know they have a winner. Why would they put forth such an effort if they were anticipating a disasterous failure? And don't say they are "lying" or "covering their tails." This pre-release sales push will help lay the groundwork, wisely positioning the company for the coming run. Monday, we will hear what we've been waiting for. We have a winner.
So what was the card about? I got mine too late to call.
Harsh,
Answer me honestly. Do you want this company to suceed or fail? Which is it?
WC2
Copley,
I hear ya. Just came in to look at the screen after my shaper machine overheated and saw the price. Fixin' to call my broker and see what can be done at this level. For us longs, its a no brainer.
WC2 (Go Tom! Go EDEX! Go Calvin! Go Clayton!)
Who is Jessica Alba?
Amen Dragon man! Amen!
You're a good man and your presence here is appreciated.
WC2
you said "I want some powder available just in case this drops further..."
I must seriously consider drumming up some powder myself. Maybe tomorrow. A price below .04 provides an attractive leverage for a quick return on investment. Still approaching this with a 5 year plan.
WC2
Man, we must be really bored. Nothing posted since this morning! Snoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
I would love Eldorado to be the next Microsoft. I bet you would like that too. Until then we'll all wait patiently to get rich together.
WC2
I think what this guy did was build something portable, and battle field accessable, probably the size of a briecase, out of integrated chips, as opposed to roomsize, out of vacuum tubes. As the story goes, even with the contract, it never got out of the shop.
Actually the old phart lives in North Carolina, is retired, and was one of the guys who got canned. He later joined the team that developed the Cobra CB back in the ealy 70's. No legend.
I met an engineer who developed the first digital radio in the late 60s. His company was contracted to sell these top of the line units to the military for a half mill a piece. There was nothing like it. Its performance was flawless. So their competition took the only option, they initiated a hostile takeover.
Then followed the classic corperate blunder. They fired all the older engineers from company A and hired younger men who could come in at half the price. Ironically, though they had all the blue prints and schematics, they could never get that radio to work.
No amount of money could ever replace the knowhow of those older men.
Tony has dedicated 20 years to birthing this child. It is his life's work. Why hand it over to someone else at the most exiting time in his life?
Not to long ago saw a quick dip to 2.5?? and called Chicago immediately to place an order for 100k. Gabbed to much and missed it. Don't think we'll be seeing that again. .04 is the sweet spot now. This will be very rewarding whatever level you get in at.
WC2
You're probably right. I see us bouncing around until we get some news. Buy on the dips to .04 Could not chew off a mill without being over weighted, but another 50k sounds tempting. Starting to feel like an EDEX addict. Need my fix. Give me more shares. Mortage the children. Pawn the wife. Get those certificates! Make some money. Tom, put her in high gear. Petal to the metal. Let's go!
Geo,
As always, your posts are quite informative. God has blessed us by your presence on this board. Can you clear up a few things about North Dakota?
What do we have in the ground right now? Do we have one well at the present? Are we working on two, one gas and one oil, or more? I am trying to understand what is coming up for completion.
(Praying that you get back on your feet real soon!)
WC2
"We hit a Mississippian Waulsortian Lodgepole pinnacle reef dead center."
This is fantastic news. Certainly encouraged to hear it. My concern is, Shouldn't EDEX be running with the good news?
Your candidness, honesty and openess is greatly valued and I think has largely kept the flames of hope going for EDEX. Thanks also to Clayton and the others. I was particularily fascinated by such comments made months ago on Mesa regarding "the bit jumping up and down" in the granite wash. Who would have known? Not us. Your words helped paint the picture for us to understand what is going on. It makes it concrete and real. Without your openess, we would be in the dark. Diddo for all the investors.
Tom hasn't even Pr'd ND yet, but mentioned it on the net.
To Tom: I would like encourage you to give us some daily bones to gnaw on. Updating us with a little color commentary (as is permissible) every once in a while would make clearer the big picture and hence build excitement.
WC2
But that was November. And this is July. Things are changing rapidly, and time is in our favor. I am highly encouraged by Tom's "90 days."
Got to run to a meeting...
(p.s. Never say never! ANYWHERE)
WC2
Manti, I do not think we will see 4 again. It took me weeks to fill, and that happened before the close. In all honesty I think Tuesday was the bottom, which we will not revisit barring bad news. Today's check from my well was up 30% from 3 months ago. I think that bodes very well for the SP of EDEX. I am ready for this thing to go. Waiting to see what
I'll have in five years!
WC2
58k more @ 4
I like it
I love it
I want some more of it!
WC2
You said, "there's no $$$ to have the rig finish the job."
Did not Clayton Fowler publically say on this board that he would loan Tom any money he needed to finish Mesa, Taiban and Ft. Sumner? How can you say there's no money?
Patience. Patience. Tom will come through.
I'm curious, is the Permian sand at Mesa a "tight" sand. Does it differ in comparison to other sands? Where on the sliding scale does Permian sand fit as regards porosity, permeability and general usefulness in light of other strata.

Geo wrote: "I get cold calls almost on a daily basis. I have agreed to help, and also plan to involve EDEX as much as possible in these plays. There will definitely be room in some of these plays for EDEX participation."
This is exciting! (At the same time, it must be frustrating for you to have to wait)
What an incredible opportunity to minimize your risk by having so many deep pockets willing to participate in ventures. What a great opportunity for EDEX to be a part of this. Six weeks. July 31st?? God's speedy healing and grace to your back!

While there was nothing earth shattering about the interview, because there was so little time, Tom did share some interesting information. He mentioned 100,000 acres under lease; that North Dakota should have 50 extra wells; that there is new land in Colorado, Texas and New Mexico.
This is the first time Tom has publically mentioned ND. I thought the 50 additional wells in ND was great news. I hope this move the pps
WC2
The way that Geo feels about Victor I seriously doubt that this has anything to do with Geosurveys. Note:
...commercially highly probable through photogeology and geochemistry testing conducted by Oil For America...
No mention of PIP.

I suppose most people think that this stock will go to the moon on good news. What we all want. Not to long ago I said "The price doesn't matter at this time." Someone asked what I was smoking. But I say, "Until the news comes out, who cares where the price goes." Until then its a mute point up or down. I say hold long and strong and the best advise would probably be for all of us to get off this bulletin board for a few months and let Tom and Tony and Clayton do the worrying.
