They suspended BEER. I guess that leaves WINE?
Still waiting on buyout to happen.
Holland, Milan, Linz, Stuttgart. Frankfurt tonight then a week in Saudi. Terrible hours and worse internet.
Before that just terrible hours.
Or funds for taxes to cashless exercise the rest.
After two months of ignoring it almost back to break even. Lets go.
Good observation. Insiders are very limited in when they can execute transactions.
they were put in place because Microsoft wanted an upper limit on their liability and Vringo agreed to it. Microsoft already has an "out" if Google pays little or nothing... they pay little or nothing as well.
technically you only have to report a change if you are over 5%. Going from over to under quick enough that you are under before the next report is due takes away the need to report.
You are exactly correct in your assertions, except you overlooked one potential innovation that GOOGLE has over Lang.
They added the wildcard '$' to the search and if the website owner gave GOOGLE enough "wildcards" it could add to the ranking. Now that GOOGLE is multinational, there are other accepted wildcards such as RMB, Euro, Pounds sterling, etc.
Of course bribery is not novel and the combination of Lang and bribery is obvious in light of Lang.
Mongolia yes... Tibet is a key source of all water in south and southeast asia as well as southern china. China is nearly at war with India over control of the water source, so they MIGHT actually thing twice - OK once - about destroying it.
I took 1.45s
Was it a worthy one?
Easy story. Debts they could not pay bought by an offshore for a steep discount. Offshore shorts against the debt and makes more than they paid to buy the debt. Company settles with discounted shares. Sweet gig for the offshore.
Clsn is a good trade but i am very skeptical of the company. Too much in common with the other biotech that was declared a shell.
can I buy puts on everbright?
I would rather sell early into strength than watch profits become a loss. it can go as high as it wants after I sell for a profit.
took mine too early (1.58) but back in at 1.45
I sold the gap pm and got too busy to buy back
cntf, pullback or breakout?
caveat 1 - Chinese small cap.
caveat 2 - takeover RUMOR... not even a going private transaction.
That said, $3.77 is up there from here.
I bought at open but did not get on here till close, so I am up 0.22 already, but unless the refute it between now and the CC on the 20th, it's bound to run. Refusing to comment on rumors, in or out of the press" is standard corporate governance.
$3.77 buyout rumor in tortured translation...

"FOX", link back. CEO name matches.

in CNTF at open at 1.28... glad I did.
VRNG probably get back in at open.
also in China space - CNTF on buyout rumors (in Chinese, dug up by a Chinese poster on China Trading Stocks board...
in at 1.28 at open same reason.
sold my ira shares last night expecting F.U.D. and a pullback Monday. will see how Monday PM looks on my trading shares. This might be the real run, but I am tired of watching 20% gains return to small losses on vrng.
LLEN - almost ready to reconsider ;) never lost money on it but it took a lot of patience to make a few %
New to DSS but started reading the merger conference call transcript a month back while on vacation. It read to me as though this coming earnings will be ugly still (last of merger expenses, yadda yadda yadda). I also think this conference call is where the much needed discussion of how this merger makes sense occurs.
I have been thinking $1.20 - so your $1.25 is spot on - as a reaction to the numbers and then price rebound on reaction to the vision.
Hudson bay makes sense as the seller - I never bothered to look. If they are boosting me to an exit in VRNG before August 13th, I'll front-load them here too...
In any case, the sellers are original DSS holders that see this merger as a failure of what they were invested in and are not sticking it out to see what they own any more.
DSS earnings call on the 13th.

should be a buying opportunity. I still think $1.20 is possible.
wow, congrats! I missed that completely.
Sellers are a lot of angry longs from old dss. New mgmt needs to prove itself. Might take a Q to swing bottom to top.
Geovesting did a hit on them some time back. Seemed to be misinterpreted from a grain of truth but also seemed the boots on the ground forged some docs.
Ex sec energy on bod and all us management us resident. Seems as legit as China gets but never got any respect when i played it.
other than tbow and aln are there other credible offers pending with a reasonable price gap??
A while back we were discussing DSS and the expectation from the filings was one last dip early/mid August on past earnings. Could get a bit closer to $1.20 in a week, then I think it's time.
Was the glass hah full? No, it was half cracked...
I might be dug out enough from work to pay attention today...
Swingking, did you dump snfca or waiting earnings? Their biigest revs lately are mortgage fees and May was especially good. Price drop is a shock with Russell, etc.
Unless gold sinks a lot further this looks like the turning point. On watch list.
