I was concerned about Q4 2010 being less than Q3, but it was way up from Q4 2009. I love the PR as it shows some more PR's might come out yet in April. I don't know their business, but I like those green volume bars on the chart. Chaikin Money fFow and the Force Index look green.

SRB and RBO fight radiation
From my favorite science NTRZ shareholder, XYBRFUTURE
Rice bran contains beta glucans
Dr. Patchen, Radiation Protection and Anti-Oxidant
In the mid-1980s, researchers at Tulane University School of Medicine reported that beta-1,3-glucan injected directly into chest-wall malignant ulcers (in women who had already undergone mastectomy and radiation therapy for breast cancer) healed the sores completely. Beta-1,3-glucan's radiation protection effects were shown in 1985 when the U.S. Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute announced the results of their recent experiments. Myra D. Patchen, M.D., and her team at the Institute exposed mice to lethal doses of radiation.
When the mice were given an oral dose of beta-1,3-glucan after the radiation exposure, 70% were completely protected from the damaging effects. Dr. Patchen also suggested that beta-1,3-glucan should be considered as an effective way of rebuilding the immune system and preventing infection following chemotherapy and radiation in cancer treatment. Dr. Patchen further suggested that beta-1,3-glucan appears to work as a free-radical scavenger (anti-oxidant) and may even protect the macrophages from damage by radiation, toxins, heavy metals and free-radicals.
http://www.betaglucan.org/history.htm
"A report in the journal Radiation Protection Dosimetry (2007) by Dr D. Cebrian and colleagues from the Radiobiology Laboratory of the Department of Environment, CIEMAT, Madrid, Spain, show "strong affinity of inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) for uranium, suggesting that it could be an effective chelating agent for uranium in vivo."
"The 2007 Centennial Meeting of The American Association for Cancer Research on Translational Medicine was held in Singapore 4-8 November 2007. A paper presented by Professor Shamsuddin and colleagues showed that IP6 and inositol protect human cells against radiation damage in the laboratory (in vitro) in various ways. For example while irradiation caused increased cell death (loss of cell attachment, apoptosis and necrosis) IP6 and inositol treatment prevented cell death, in vitro. In vivo (in laboratory mice) IP6 significantly reduced the incidence and multiplicity of UV-induced skin tumors in mice. These data therefore suggest that IP6 + inositol could help protect us from various forms of radiation damage such as UV from sun-exposure, radiation therapy, cosmic radiation, accidental or induced nuclear blasts etc.

VLCO has few buyers in spite of the volume.
No trade until 26 minutes after the market opened makes me think VLCO is being traded by a few, and lately they seem to be loading up cheap and raising the price near the close. I hope they manipulate this much higher after their accumulation is done, assuming they are not unloading, which the chart makes me think they are accumulating.

The market is affecting all stocks today, it may bounce back yet today.
Bought VLCO
Got in at .01. I do like the chart and the increased volume since November. Trading above the 50 day MA is good as well as VLCO has broke a down sloping resistance line in March.

Remember MGMX, I bought 900,000 shares, at .0007. But it did have a good market to handle an order that big, $630, lol. And sold at .001 whoo hoo.

Possible reason for the drop-----
Maybe a deal is coming based on the stock price on a certain date. Those crooks know how to drive a stock down. But, Z has some toxic shareholders on board from when Brad was still here. I think they got like 13,000,000 warrants at .15 or .20. They have more reason to prop it up. I hope .24 holds on a closing basis, but we are a long way from the 200 day MA. It could drop to their. I would never sell here. Short said he and others we going on a 3 day tour to promote the company in mid April. I suspect a deal tied to the patents Herbal Science should have given Z in the last couple of days spells a deal. Fingers crossed.

Ironridge has no curent connection with NTRZ. We can only speculate that it is a small Nutra/pharma fund raising deal. At the March 1st CC, CFO Dale Belt mentioned the urgency of getting testing done on a joint pain product. It could be more, but this is not the big deal we are all waiting for, but it coul be more than it looks now. As of now I don't look at it as a big stock price mover except that it will show the product and the future.
What i said is all just speculation. I can also speculate that the many "Market orders" Tuesday and Wednesday could have been attempt to get Ironridge more shares for the same price. We will just have to see how that plays out. I am just speculating there, but there we mnay market orders those days, and that was unusual. That is justconnecting dots of the little info we have now.. We will see how it plays out.
Coming Ironridge Global IV Deal.
It looks like a little deal based on stock is coming to help boost our pharma research and maybe more.

It is confusing because it says 2,500,000 shares, yet it could be 5% or almost 10,000,000 shares off the shelf. No details, just the form I just posted that is confusing. One says it will be non toxic, after issue.
About Ironridge>>

Here is info of another deal they did from a Yahoo poster>>
On March 17, 2011, Marshall Edwards, Inc. (the "Company") entered into a Stock Purchase Agreement (the "Agreement") with Ironridge Global Biopharma, a division of Ironridge Global IV, Ltd., a British Virgin Islands business company ("Ironridge"), pursuant to which the Company has agreed to issue and sell to Ironridge up to (i) $1,001,700 of the Company's common stock, par value $0.00000002 per share (the "Common Shares"), and (ii) $742,000 of the Company's newly designated Series B preferred stock, $0.01 par value, at a purchase price of $1,000 per share (the "Series B Preferred Shares", and together with the Common Shares, the "Shares"). The Shares will be offered and sold pursuant to a prospectus supplement to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the Company's shelf registration statement on Form S-3 (File No. 333-149807), which became effective on April 3, 2008. The Company's common stock trades on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "MSHL." The Company intends to use the proceeds from this transaction primarily to fund the further development of its lead product candidate, NV-143, including the remaining pre-clinical studies required to initiate a Phase I clinical trial later this year
We don't know the scope, but it could be to get trials done on a pain drug they really want to get done.

Q1 and the future from the CC
From the CC that could relate to Q1 and Q2 being strong
1. Leo said feed prices in Brazil were raised in November. Also note, all shipments from Brazil are based on the dollar, I don't know if that's good or bad.
2. Garner said prices were raised substantially at the first of the year except for existing contracts.
3. Garner said new deals were recently signed in the Check Republic Hungary, Romania, Vietnam, Philippines, and China.
3. Garner said distribution networks are being enhanced in Europe, Middle East, Africa, as SE Asia.
4. Garner said human grade DFB is just now being sold and meat filler is getting bigger in Europe and a fast food chain in Europe and Asia is using NTRZ filler, I don't remember if it's SRB or DOB.
5. In response to a question Garner talked about sales in Japan, China and Vietnam.
So, all this looks great for Q1 and Q2 2011.
For the future.
1. Leo said now that the BK process is over, Z is looking at oil plant opportunities in the USA, South America and Asia. He did NOT mention Europe or Africa.
2. Leo mentioned new products from Brazil by years end xybr touched on these Friday.
3. Garner mention a new thought that Z's products are being used in Vegan meatless products. And Europe seems interested meat filler first. Maybe that is Henk's influence.
It is again interesting that Nutraceuticals/Pharma was avoided by all, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm(How do you spell immanent deal, and that question comes from the woorstest spellllin dude on da masage bord)).
Does Koppes supply the answer?
Koppes tied to Apria who was bought out by Blackstone
I have talked about NY based Blackstone group and their interest in Bright Foods/GNC. And nichlous 999 mentioned a NY company being interested in Z's pharma.

http://in.reuters.com/article/2011/04/01/gnc-ipo-idINNWEN021220110401
So, does Blackstone/NTRZ/Bright/GNC fit together somehow. I don't think NTRZ is bought out, but I think NTRZ gets funding from Blackstone and may have product in GNC stores if Bright buys them out to get a USA listing. Koppes seemed like a strange appoint til now, fingers crossed.

Comments from a good science SH
Abouit the April CC
Some thoughts.
I'm not at all surprised that JS didn't dump on JL and DB. I don't think it's his place or he's in a position to do that. They hired him. If Koppes is worth his salt with his background in corporate governance, maybe we've seen the end of that kind of behavior. But remember most all boards find it acceptable to grant themselves raises and bonus that shareholders find undeserved.
JS went to the China trade show with CG. He met with Bright to reopen or continue talks. We have no idea how close or far away any deal with Bright is. But time is their adversary as it is ours. He may drive a harder bargain with the Chinese but he probably has much more credibility with them.
Of course the CC could have been better but I found a lot to be optimistic about. If shareholders got behind the new team it would help immensely. Colin was good and Leo seemed relieved to be out of BK and anxious to move forward with the new initiatives.. Some new customers and some new countries a plus,
The LT holders seemed on balance to be pleased with what they heard while still disappointed with lack of progress in noted areas. Road shows eaxh month will help..
Lecithin is in first stage of expansion-by years end. Leo said RBO for cosmetics was possible after distilling equipment is installed.
Though no pharma deal was mentioned JS did speak favorably about the HS extracts.
I think the Nutrazilla is setting sail again but this time instead of headwinds they have some wind at their backs. They would have more if shareholders stopped bickering and complaining and criticizing every single thing they say and do or don't say and don't do . They need our positive energy and belief in their ability to succeed more than ever now It's time to rally behind them and make the best of it Today marks the dawn of a new future. Rice bran and RBO are the future. Let's get on with it and not blow it or hinder it with our engrained negativity.
Remote chance for Bright buying GNC.....
.... And NTRZ being a part of it. Today the GNC IPO was introduced. My thought is that Bright may want a listing on US exchanges and buying the stock of GNC gets them here. I could be way off, but the timing of the IPO and Z's exit of BK and refiling could be more than a coincidence. I don't mean Bright buying NTRZ, but a nutra/pharm deal could be tied to it involving Bright and NTRZ after Bright buying GNC.

Multiple smaller locations in China
2nd listen is always better than the first
First of all my April question is just that they will do a three day road show in mid April. That makes Aroof think that a pharma and or nutraceutical deal will be out by then. They will have more reason to toot their horn.
Then, leading to the biggie, I think Belt said that expansion will be financed three ways
1. Equity-- In my opinion, we can't afford that here
2. Convertible Preferred
3. Partnership like with Alothon-- In my opinion, that is tough because we had equity in Brazil and like have none in China, Philippines, Europe, etc.
Notice licensing was not mentioned. But, I suppose it is possible.
Now the biggie
Listen to the about 1:02:00 time for about two minutes. Short is talking about China. Not word for word her, but close.
"I was with the Bright Food guys last week and they are definitely interested. For all the right reasons such as growing food shortages and population, China is ABSOLUTELY INTERESTED. We may have a smaller scope and doing smaller locations rather than one big one. Discussions continue and both sides are interested."
Now, add in, Short said earlier that Z wants to focus on the biggest and best long term opportunities. China sure sounds like just that. Short could be negotiating with Wilmar, Bright and whoever for the best deal. They all have to want us.Indonesia, or Thailand could sell to China, so we don't have to go anywhere. So Short has some leverage. We can't go everywhere at once because customers have to be built for customers of the plants.
But, if we can't afford a big plant, how do we afford "several smaller sites"? I can only guess Bright buys convertible preferred stock and with the proceeds, Z may license many smaller existing plants in China? I don't know, that is just my best guess. But, it does not sound like a deal in immanent, but who knows. China could sell to Indonesia and the Philippines, good location.
Listen to the 1:02:00 to the 1:04:00 question and answer portion of the CC.
I am putting in a lower bid than .30 for Monday for a little more stock.
Sentiment : Strong Buy
Koppes helped bankrupt California, OMG
TRZ has a new BOD member Richard H. Koppes
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/NutraCea-Appoints-Richard-H-prnews-2657568385.html?x=0&.v=1
The California Public Employees' Retirement System is bankrupting the state of California. In my opinion, government employees unions have been bargaining with higher up government employees or legislaters who were government employees. And those higher up's would get pay increases in proportion to the new union contracts. So, the union bascially bargined with itself, OMG. I call that corruption, not goverernance.
In my opinion Koppes is a TERRIBLE SYMBOLIC CHOICE.
If RJA open up tomorrow, I will add. The 50 day MA looks key.

They say in the Q3 10-Q that they are suppose to get $1 million more from Irgovel partners by today. This would seem to mean they met the EBIDTA targets for the 6 months ended 3/31. That would be good news.
Also it appears that Irgovel lost money every quarter in 2010, including about $300,000 in Q4.
But from FN 21 in 10-K and similar FN in the Q3 10-Q, it appears they were slightly EBIDTA negative thru Q3 ($136,000 negative EBIDTA) but EBIDTA positive in Q4 - $452,000
