holy crap! I wonder from what source? If true, we're good to go on that front
yep it's wonderful! Higher lows...as we climb higher.
Interesting. not sure if it's just lip service or what but I'll take it
Yep. I'm just wanting something to come to fruition to see some progress
Now let’s go to $10 so you look like a genius!!
Damn!!
It was either in a filing or the CEO interview where they mentioned the possibility of a partner for phase 3. That would be the curveball that really sends it.
The shareholder meeting this week is a big deal IMO. Might be one of the most important in their history imo with what's going on and where they are. I'd like some color on financing and general company update.
Referring to ending up green after somone sold 15k shares?
Let's get a close above $1 for day 2...
Yep things are def looking good! Meeting should be good!
well said! yep still have the regulatory risk, but they def in a better place after phase 2. Also concern for funding phase 3, but at that point and CEO connecitons they could partner up with a big name to help with that.
Based on the DD on IMC-1 vs it's peers...this is one you hold onto some shares for that just in case moment. no pumping but seriously buy out or drug approval could happen. And I can tell you, it won't be a dollar any longer. Just my opinion.
One in the same. Waiting on guidance from FDA for phase 3
on "light" volume.
Yep! I think in the broadest sense they have a lot going on, not that they don't know what they're doing, I think there's just a lot of moving parts. Like I've said, I just want to see progress on the plans they've outlined in the last 2 filings.
Yep! I worded my post goofy, the safety is one concern the FDA has/had, not VIRI…but they’re able to show it’s very safe.
Yeah man for sure must watch. But just remember the meeting he speaks of has happened. Now we’re waiting on commentary from FDA regarding phase 3. Safety is there which he said was one concern and also results are great in “new” patients. Good r vs r imo
Thanks!! Take a look and let me know what ya think
Let me know if you can see the link, I can’t see it on my phone
Hope this link works for Greg’s interview
Oh man good stuff! This should be pinned
The video interview with Greg was pretty good
“Fast track” !!
Anyone here buying? I hope we get new people new money in sometime
Agree! I think anyone here now for the most part is holding long term. I could be wrong. At this point I just want to see progress on what's been in the filings.
This has been a good one so far for a lot of people, but I don't think it's near done. Hopefully I don't jinx it. It seems the major drop came from the offering of 10m shares priced at 50 cents. It was trading north of $8 prior. Also, the study from Phase 2 didn't have good results for "experienced" patients. However, it showed very good results on "new" patients plus great safety. From the PR below, we now know that they did meet with the FDA. They've also said they have enough cash to last well into 2024 which was my other concern. I'd read this PR below but with what they know with new patients, the safety of it, and cash into next year it should be good. Plus, i think the FDA's comments will be positive. I'm also betting on the jockey here too as it seems the CEO has a lot of experience.
ATLANTA, Jan. 05, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Virios Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIRI), a development-stage biotechnology company focused on advancing novel, combination antiviral therapies to treat debilitating chronic diseases including fibromyalgia (“FM”), announced today that its end-of-Phase 2 meeting request with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) to discuss advancing IMC-1 into Phase 3 development as a treatment for FM has been scheduled for mid-March 2023. At this meeting, the Company will discuss with the FDA plans for a Phase 3 program that would support submission of a new drug application for IMC-1 for the treatment of FM. The Company plans to provide a program update by the end of April following the receipt of formal written feedback from the FDA.
The Company believes the safety and efficacy results from its FORTRESS Phase 2b FM study support progression of IMC-1 to Phase 3 development for “new” patients, who represent the vast majority of the FM patient community.
Analysis of the Company’s recent FORTRESS Phase 2b FM study data revealed:
“New” FM patients treated with its novel FM development candidate, IMC-1 , who were recruited into FORTRESS via advertising, demonstrated statistically significant reductions in FM related pain, fatigue, anxiety and depressive symptoms and showed an overall improvement in their global health status.
In contrast, “experienced” FM patients (i.e. patients previously enrolled in FM studies and those with a prior relationship with the FORTRESS study sites), who in the Company’s view represent a more treatment refractory/resistant cohort of patients, did not exhibit meaningful treatment benefits.
“New” patients treated with IMC-1 also exhibited a lower discontinuation rate due to adverse events as compared with “new” patients receiving] placebo.
All patients treated with IMC-1 demonstrated exemplary safety and tolerability in the FORTRESS study.
Hahaha wouldn’t that be nice!!!
That was 100% retail panic selling IMO. I get it though been there
It’s my understanding the S-1 is not active yet.
If dilution, we should see SS updates over night, right?
I don’t think the S-1 is even effective yet if that’s what you’re referring to as far as diluting
Correct. As part of the merger these shares are already owned. If you read the filing you can see who they are and the reason they were issued the shares. These share were restricted. This S-1 makes them unrestricted.
S-1 is what's causing the sell off IMO.
In hindsight the 8k was a bit lofty...obviously as there wasn't any news Q1. 10K felt a little more realistic. But you're right nothing is guranteed. Share price increased due to what we thought was coming and has since faded. No doubt they're going to have to prove themselves.
Happy Easter everyone! Reviewing the 10K. I know frustrating but I think this will be a good investment. I take this quote at face value and believe them. I think it's been frustrating for them too. But they're are indicating things are moving forward.
"During the past eighteen months we have been working to get to where we are today. It has been difficult and expensive, to get to this point of being a public company with the corporate structure, systems and team that can expand our business with increasing profitability."
This is why it's key to getting the M&A train going: "At this time, our operating structure and current level of expense can handle twice the revenue stream with minor increases to our operating overhead expenses. This allows the entire gross profit of any new contract or company acquisition to go straight to the bottom line, providing a consistent return on investment."
"The returns would be quick and significant."
I get it, sucks having money stuck here. But for those that have a longer time preference I believe we see returns as this company matures.
Think Equity has done quite a few deals all ready this year

This should make everyone feel pretty good:
"We have been and will continue to be a company that is very conservative with our resources and will use every possible dollar to provide strength and good return to our investors."
Neil Reithinger, former President of the Company stated, "We have endeavored to find a compelling fit for the Company and our shareholders, and we believe that Retrieve will exceed our expectations. They have a stellar management team, a proven business model with strong margins and a patented software product where there is a large market need."
That’s kinda what I was thinking too
