They always were part of the solution, Cotton. A Trustee - think about that one, and I know you know what is happening, as do I.
Like smoked brisket and beer?
Let's see - NOLs are good, CTS in profit (if ya bought way back when - lol) and OBS is still there.
If ya ain't in, you're a loser - right?
NOLs will be there - just keep looking across the pond. Very simple.
"You can't handle the truth". Sorry, you opened the door to that one, Mojo - lol.
Somethings to ponder so I will preach on it. Pappy in America is just a mouthpiece for the next disto. The real money is across the pond, where Pappy made the most money - HINT. What will happen the first of next month, eh? Corporate tax cuts - HINT.
Just surmising, Mojo, but what if these schmucks were waiting for an opportunity to reemerge. This may be it. Dunno, Mate. I saw that Apple is going to invest 350B here in our country - why is that, eh? And why should not the final two legacy plays - who did not get TARP, by the way - reap the same rewards? Just sayin'. We're good, Mojo. No worries.
In the meantime, grab a bowl of pasta and hot bread - it's cold and snowy in Sweet Home Alabama.
Nice one, Viva. I doubt that it was understood. But it's always a good laugh when he/she/it is posting. I really enjoy it - lol.
In the right places you are and I enjoy your posts.
A little further, however, to see what is done to the CTs in a BK.
It's only the full monty plus - Yabba Dabba Do does not matter.
I corresponded with another board member this morning - get some sleep - lol -
I posited a theory a few years ago that may or not come to fruition. And I wasn't thinking of the NOLs as I'm just a CT man. I said to pay the CTs off with the full monty plus and roll with the One Big Share when Pappy reemerges, irregardless of the NOLs. OBS is an already existing shareholder base so no issuance of new shares is necessary.
Another question to ask yourself is - why is OBS still around? If they are worthless, get rid of them. There is a reason why OBS is still here - for reemergence.
We still wait as Pappy in America is nice on info on distros but nothing else on going forward. Never mind the bollocks - we'll be paid - and nicely. We're good on the CTs.
In the meantime, throw a few porterhouses on the grill and wait it out.
I'll say - lol.
It's all in the prospectuses - all four and around page 20 toward the end of each document. All four have a FV of $25, yet the interest rates are different. And it's easy to calculate - hell, nine plus years of interest.
This will end to all who hold to a very profitable decision.
And I see you on the WAMU board - like your posts - I don't post there as I know what I hold. We'll be fine, Mate. No worries here on the last two legacy plays.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras - heck, I gotta get some more sunscreen - blue skies and sunshine in Sweet Home Alabama.
Yes, Ma'am. He has the skinny on the micro view and mine is the macro - full monty plus. Simple, eh?
Just more crawling to the end game, SCA. And good on ya.
Nice to see ya coming back. We're good. Pappy in America is not forthcoming with info, but the play lays across the pond. And Cotton is all over it - read some of his posts as things have changed in the way this is playing out - or oot, in Cdn - lol. Just the waiting.
Check yer mail in a bit - Christmas in the GWN.
I'm sure that you did not read the prospectus and the hint I gave you to the full monty coming to the CT holders.
And since you publicly stated that you have no shares in the play, why are you here? Here's yer nickel.
Sure we are getting anywhere, Stosh. It's called Roll Tide Roll and planting season - lol.
One thing - the brainiac (Rickey), has been slapping up here but no one can follow. Or so one thinks. This is the micro stuff and he does a wonderful job. And he'll be rich, as will you , me and all others who are here. Patience. And the bollocks, well, are just that.
I see that you pass through here every now and then, Duxs. The bigger issue is who here has a grip on the macro and micro analysis on this play. Many here, and I'm sure you do, have a boatload or at least a skiff of shares. It's just the waiting that gets some. But we'll be rewarded. And never mind the bollocks - I'm sure you know who they are.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras as I gots to get the land ready for planting. Hell, it's 62* already and iffin yas got snow, shovel yer walkway or I'll sue - not that I'm going there anytime soon- lol.
Four things to look for - three were constant and one just occurred - and never mind the bollocks from the new visitors.
CTs are a hybrid security - debt when in BK - which must be paid - and equity going forward - which grows.
Look at all the prospectuses and towards the end of each document, around page 20, there is the solution to a situation like BK. Only the full monty plus.
What many did not understand the depth and reach of Pappy - worldwide. And to always look across the pond. Too damn bad for youse who did not understand the play.
And the final one - 21% corporate tax from the new Sheriff. Think about that one.
Roll Tide.
Guess you have not read the four individual prospectuses and their guarantees. Thanks for the laugh, Joey.
After all these years, it's only about two things - the prospectuses guarantee and look across the pond. Simple, eh? Relax. We are good.
Roll Tide.
Sorry to say, there is only one capo di tutti i capi and that is me. A few things to consider so lemme preach on it.
Two things - the crap going on across the pond in the courts with the lower CTs and the lowering of the tax rates for corporations done yesterday.
I'll just throw this out there as maybe Pappy was waiting for this to happen and bring some dosh back here - reorganize. And we have the totem pole for payment. We be first - per prospectus. Just sayin'. As usual, we wait.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras and enjoy yer family and have a Merry Christmas. Here's a few thingies to dance to:
Spot on, Argus. In each of the four CT's prospectus, towards the end of the respective document - around page 20 - is what is supposed to happen to our holdings in situations like this (BK).
It was always about across the pond. Now, ya got flippin' lawyers involved once again. But law is law - we get paid before any of the subs holdings in comparable CTs do. Ain't worried one bit. We're just fine.
The only thing I'm worried about is these gotdamn cookies I'm baking and decorating - hope they are enough. Lot of moochers in the family - lol.
Merry Christmas.
I do not have PM, Viva. But I'm sure the sparks will fly if this is positive. Christ Almighty, us vultures need a bit of good news - lol.
No worries, it's all good, Swiss. Thanks for sharing your family's history.
The guy is not to be trusted. He had a website here and promoted all kinds of good things - ptui. His name is garbage.
Other than that, have a few Sinatras and never mind the bollocks.
Dunno if you understand what I'm about to explain, so I'll type slowly. We discuss everything CTs, OBS, Pappy - home and across the pond - and things related to the play. What we don't discuss is a promo on your project. No free publicity.
Now, I'm a retired disabled Vet to get that out there. I did not ask the Admins to delete the post because it may be of value.
You do it again, I'm asking the Admins to ban you from the board. You understand?
The correct answer is Yes Sir.
Along with what you have there, Cotton, go to any CT prospectus since essentially the only difference is the interest rate and go towards the end - around page 20. There you will find what the CTs do in a BK situation. Also prospectus enforceable law, to use your term. It's just a matter of when.
Dunno about you, but in this neck of the woods, stupid is not fixable. All we do is laugh at it. Just sayin'.
I would not say that, Argus, but thanks for the compliment.
Very simple since 2009 - buy the CTs and wait. More importantly, have a life and check back here every now and then.
Just saw that an unwelcomed individual posted. Guess it must be drunk and hit the wrong button. Never trusted that thing and what it thought. Trash.
Chew on this. What everyone here holds is golden - CTs are debt in BK, which must be paid and equity going forward when out of BK. Read the prospectuses. We are not going anywhere. You schmucks and schmuckettes will be rewarded handsomely.
We're still trading, eh? I got profit - anyone else?
Relax, this is still political - on both sides of the pond - and like the other legacy play, a lot folks will be happy with the outcomes. Patience is required and one other thing, it's Christmas. That's more important.
In the meantime, have a Sinatras and get that tree up as other things are more important than money.
Here's something to think about before you kill all your enemies. TD and Scottrade merged and are one and glitches happen in that process. I'm with Scottrade and never, ever got a request like you did. Seems like just the corporate folks and procedures need a bit of work.
Besides, if your average purchase price is like mine, I'm in massive profit, even at these prices today. But do not sell. More profit coming I gotdamguaurantee.
Merry Christmas
Roll Tide
Could be, JOVI, that nothing will happen until the summer. My frustration, for years, has been with Pappy in America. Yep, the distro lists come out on time but what about a reorg or a payment to us, eh? Then again, that's the life of a vulture - lol. We'll be rich, no doubt, in the last two legacy plays.
In the meantime, Sinatras on me and Merry Christmas.
Don't move your CTs from one firm to another before the end of December. There is a reason why other firms won't accept the move.
The distro. Think about it.
So what's up with all the hullabaloo about the ECAPS and CTs, eh? Settle down, as it's only one shot across the bow fer chrissakes. There is something more important - tomorrow. God, family and friends - phuc the NFL.
Business starts the first week of December. Distro.
In the meantime, many Sinatras, eat greens for good luck as they stink up the home for days - lol.
Ecco un piccolo consiglio del capo dei capi. L'ultimo giorno su questo tabellone è domani - e non tornare fino a lunedì. La famiglia è più importante. Inoltre, questo sta giocando come dovrebbe e tu sei ricco pure.
Roll Tide.
That's simple, Wayne. Half of my career in the military was spent overseas. That's the protection I was talking about. Where I was and what I did - yep, better not to know - lol. Good luck to you as well, Wayne.
Good on ya, Wayne. Hell, go to the Pub and belly up there with the family. Tell ya what, it's tough being away from yer country at times like this - you for business and me for protection. That's the choices we made. And that has made all the difference.
You'll be rich Son, I gotdamn guarantee it.
Roll Tide.
Well lookie here for a minute, Stosh. For the folks here and have been for a number of years, all will be rewarded. Those that sold - PTUI - you cannot cure stupid.
All I know is that I have family coming from Louisiana and Mississippi this week to spend time together.
After the nice turkey dinner, the tradition is to play a card game - this year six players - and you bet with British pence - ones and twos. Nobody loses and it's nice. I just forgot to cash all that dosh in when I left England last century - lol.
Ana, I doubt it as he is a failed Missouri banker. Just be glad you have a taste of the CTs and look at the exchange rates when we hit.
It'll be Yuge.
In the meantime, a brawl between the Maple Leafs and Canadians on the internet as it is Hockey Night in Canada - always good for a few Sinatras - lol.
Roll Tide.
Sure thing, Wayne. It's simple and I can do it in three words - full monty plus. It has to do with a possible uplisting of the CTs, possibly soon. And that info is good enough for me whilst we wait.
If you have the time, check out posts 75648 through 75654. Argus is a good man.
Got through all yer posts concerning the CTs, Argus. Besides the prospectuses guarantees on all four, there is one other thing to look at. These are hybrid issues - debt in BK - which must be paid - and equity going forward.
That leaves another question - the OBS folks and their holdings. We'll see with that. Then again, that's why I loaded the boat with CTs instead of the OBS stuff nine years ago. Still the full monty plus - whether it be cashing out with FV and interest or $40 plus in a reorg - machts nichts to me.
Roll Tide.
Relax Rickey, fer crissakes. You are a successful man, so take it easy, Son.
The money is coming so don't worry about it. Argus is slapping heads and behinds to count our money faster - lol.
In the meantime - have a triple Sinatra and it's time for the Monday rib eyes - IYAYAS!
Lookie here, those gotdamn prospectuses provided the way to the full monty plus. All I did was put me money down and pointed it out.
Always across the pond, eh? lol You are going to wealthy, Argus, and so are a lot of folks who had the guts to stay here.
LOL - thanks, Argus. But I do not take shite from man or beast with those comments. Thanks goodness I still have a flip phone - Twitter would be wild with me there.
All I did was log on and I saw that and had to respond. Today's chores are done before the mob arrives, so it may be a day or two to see what you wrote. Proper man you are, Argus.
Oi vey - lol.
Unfortunately, you bothered the wrong dog with comments like that. First of all, dependents don't get PTSD - real men do in war and combat zones. Only pajama boys who are not in their safe zones are bothered.
Now, you want to know PTSD? You are welcome to my home here in Montgomery and I can introduce you to a few retired friends of mine - we all did 21 years plus - and they can tell you from their hearts. We have all been deployed to the Middle East many times. Then we can visit the VA Hospital and Clinic when I used to work and still have contacts and you can talk with actual men who have PTSD.
As far as dependents, we can travel to Jackson, Mississippi and visit my son - born at Flugplatz Hahn, Deutschland in 1982 - and is an big mahoff in IT at the biggest skool in the state. Then we can hit the road to Melbourne, Florida and see my good buddy Earl - Viet Nam Vet. He can tell you about his son, Eric, who now owns 35 CVS stores - born on a military base. Want more, eh?
I like you, Rickey, but grow a pair.
