I was thinking the same thing. Would also be nice to see dart post a chart after hours on friday.
I'm sitting on 9 thru 16's. I've made it this far without selling any of them. The fundies are fun, thats why I watch them. I am enjoying the scenery, not flipping. No offense taken.
Remember everyone has a position, topics of specific conversations on fundies don't always imply that everyone is flipping because they weigh in on the day to day occasionally. Many of us like to see the day to day, then maybe offline for a number of days on other business, then come back a few days later and pitch in on the board.
Price Channel
ETIM is trading at its lower price channel band. This suggests that the stock price is low relative to the action over the last 5 day period.

Analysis
Bollinger Bands
ETIM's recent volatility has been greater than normal. This is evidenced by the increased distance between the upper and lower Bollinger Bands. These bands measure volatility using standard deviation and a large width is due to high volatility. Additionally, ETIM is trading within its Bollinger Bands. This is a normal condition and suggests that the stock is neither overbought nor oversold relative to the recent price action.
Nice!

Good morning !
FYI: Wholesale casket prices vary from less than $300 to more than $8000. Factors that affect the cost of caskets include:
The material from which the casket is constructed Cloth covered wood (or cloth covered corrugated fiber board)
Gauge of the steel used in casket construction (20-gauge is least expensive; thicker gauges [18-gauge and 16- gauge] are more expensive.
Type of wood
Weight of copper or bronze (32 ounce or 38 ounce)
Casket design (square corner, round corner, urn shape)
Interior materials used and nature of the finish of those materials
Exterior Hardware (handles and lugs) used
Paint finish.
Product cost also affected by delivery requirements. It used to be the norm that funeral homes retained some inventory to meet the needs of their clients. Today, (at least in metropolitan areas and in many smaller cities as well) next day or same day delivery has become the rule. This increases the service cost for the manufacturer or distributor and adds to the overall cost of caskets.
Casket stores (whether on the internet or in a strip mall) often claim that consumers may save $1000’s of dollars by purchasing from them. This claim may, or may not, be valid. The caveat “buyer beware” applies.

I think todays PR is a very important step in the big picture. The guide lines the church puts forth will be watched over carefully by the church clergy. They will integrate this new concept with care and integrity. It places Eternal Image in a position of great responsibility. I have faith they are up to the task.

OT:
Going to the OC this weekend for a family visit, should be nice and sunny. Probably have breakfast in Dana Point Harbor as usual.
not on this side. We are holding and when funds clear from another transfer, we will buy again. I think I will continue to support the buying not only for a good price in the long run, but also keeping in mind the time of year it is right now as we are headed into the spring/summer time. It is my opinion that Baseball season will get things going even more. I am trying very hard not to sound like a pumper. I don't like pumping or bashing, just meat and potatoes....lol

Analysis
Bollinger Bands
ETIM's recent volatility has been greater than normal. This is evidenced by the increased distance between the upper and lower Bollinger Bands. These bands measure volatility using standard deviation and a large width is due to high volatility. Additionally, ETIM is trading above its upper Bollinger Band. Relative to recent price action, the stock is currently overextended and due for either a pause or retracement.
I hope for at least a pause. But don't doubt this analysis, however this is an unusual company and can and has shown it's ability to break thru, therefore my personal opinion is that all bets are off, anything can happen at this point and I am on board either way. Custom Chin Strap on order.
The hetro urn might look like a Green Bay Packers Urn. or a Chicago Bears Urn, like that.
Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem !
Urn...LOLOLOL
"The Oscar Urn" lol !!!! Anyone have a photo of an Oscar handy?
still, I like the NASCAR one best.
or getting buried in a Budweiser Can....lol
That's a great idea IMO. Professionals with integrity. I am sure the California Organization of Police and Sheriffs would take interest as well as the California Highway Patrol (CHP Urns), the United States Secret Service (USSS) as well as FBI and other agencies of integrity. Fire Authorities especially and definitely FDNY and NYPD plus the port authority urns. Yep your right. This can go on and on...

Go ETIM
Why would they sit a .09, is that a fat finger? But even .009 is out of market price range, so what is the point?
PS Good Morning Super!!!
yep, I can tell you I know 1 new shareholder that bought in Tuesday and one waiting for funds to show up to buy in Thursday or Friday and they will buy at any of these levels. I do know of others in my personal contacts that are looking at it and or have already purchased. At one time I knew 1 other holding ETIM and now possibly 5 or 6 others...
"Invest not on my advise for it is not advice but decide on your own due diligence and make your own choices and we can discuss it over coffee" I tell 'em...thats how they learn and I learn. So far we're having a blast doing it!!!
The chart is very interesting but still unpredictable..I do know this.... Baseball Season is coming soon!!!!!
iknow..
I agree 100%. We spoke of this last year on another board, we also discussed Long Term Care and Final Expense policies with Life Insurance Carriers. During Family trust planning and last wishes, will typically carry specific instructions up to and including final expense plans all the way to plot choices, location, style, theme etc. Therefore I say that at the estate planning phase we each have the option to choose our custom urn or casket, pre pay for it and even take posession of it....ooooooooo Pre Orders!!!
OT: We (my wife and I) are members of TEAM IN TRAINING with Leukemia Lymphoma Society TM. In 2004 we lost my wifes' mother to Cancer. In that year we trained and entered in to Americas Most Beautiful Bike Ride 100 mile endurance race in Lake Tahoe California. The race was made up of 3500 cyclists from all over the United States and raised over 6.5 million dollars for Cancer Research in the areas of Leukemia and Lymphoma. I am also a cancer survivor of 7 years. This society group as well as the American Cancer Society and all the others would also serve well to be involved somehow & in some way with regard to Eternal Image. I am not sure if I am thinking of Urn/Casket upgrades or what. The thoughts are coming together as I give further creativity to these concepts.
I do see in my thoughts a Los Angeles Dodger Urn or Casket with a dedication message to the sport and for example an American Cancer Society emblem included with a statement pertaining to further cancer research or something to that effect... anyway, just another idea to add to the mix...
LOL
iknow...
I agree. I was discussing this with another shareholder and we agreed that they all need at least one sample of each, plus a catalogue on the entire line. I hope E.I has been able to put the marketing together to help the distributors present to their clients. I would also like to see display cases with EI products at the funeral home locations. When my father died many years ago, I remember picking a casket out of a photo catalogue, which makes sense due to space. However a urn display does not take up much space and can be contained and presented a nice display case (Glass preferred).
How do you say variety in Italian: Oneofeach!!! lol
Glad I was able to help. I usually spot typo's on Web Sites. Have found a few over the years here and there. No biggy as long as they get fixed....Those boys at Mother Well were fun to work with... Great Information Technologists!!!
exactly..
I pulled shares from 3 other stocks just to raise my postition on ETIM and I'd do it again. Best decision I made in the penny market. Been in since October.
A big thanks to Cactus33 on the bottom buster thread last year!!! over on allstocks. Been on board here on IHUB ever since.

PS: Camarillo Golf ain't bad either...lol Got a tournament in March. Won the longest putt last year for a nice prize. Sunk a 28 footer for a birdie, thank you very much. Hope to do it again this year. Go Ventura County!!! Go CMSA!! Go Atlas!!
Go ETIM !!!
Sounds good to me, I wouldn't drop ship from the factory direct to the distributors just yet. In the beginning I would want the product to have a Quality Control step and having it all sent to Farmington Hills first will allow for photo shoots for cataglogue and marketing purposes as well. The the company can fill the orders that way. However, eventually (in the future) orders might imho get drop shipped direct in order to offset shipping costs. For now the pipeline is new & the catalogue process is being created.
My opinion.
ikno
Heard a www.forestlawn.com ad today on KNX AM1070 Business Radio Los Angeles regarding Urns and Caskets. While it did not specifically mention our EI, it did have a punch line about how they are "thinking about how the industry is offering unique ways for planning final affairs" or something to that effect. It was a good ad and any industry ads in caskets and Urns is a just more visibility overall and of course every little bit helps!!

U.S. Stocks Tumble Most Since 2003 on China Plunge, Orders Drop
By Eric Martin
Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks fell the most since March 2003 as a plunge in Chinese shares sparked a global selloff and raised concern that investors will dump equities after a four- year bull market.
The declines, compounded by a slide in demand for U.S. business equipment, erased the year-to-date gains in the Dow Jones Industrial Average and Standard & Poor's 500 Index. The Nasdaq Composite Index also headed for its steepest drop in four years. Only three companies in the S&P 500 rose and every one of the Dow's 30 members dropped, led by Alcoa Inc. and Caterpillar Inc., companies that depend on demand from China.
Europe's Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Index slid 3 percent and emerging markets tumbled. Russian shares fell from an all-time high, while Brazil's Bovespa Index sank 6.5 percent. U.S. Treasuries rose on increased demand for debt securities amid the worldwide equity slump and signs of a slowing economy after durable-goods orders fell more than forecast in January.
``Any force that works against global economic expansion is a negative,'' said Liam Dalton, who oversees $1.2 billion as chief executive officer of Axiom Capital Management in New York. ``The big straw on the camel's back is this China issue.''
The S&P 500 retreated 37.24, or 2.6 percent, to 1412.13 as of 2:40 p.m. in New York, its worst one-day drop since a 3.5 percent slide in March 2003. The Dow average sank 262.12, or 2.1 percent, to 12,370.14. The Nasdaq dropped 77.68, or 3.1 percent, to 2426.84.
Chinese Measures
China's government approved a special task force to clamp down on illegal share offerings and investments with borrowed money after indexes climbed to records. The Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 Index dropped 9.2 percent, wiping out $107.8 billion from a stock market that doubled in the past year.
``The Chinese market getting banged for 9 percent last night is only going to have a negative impact for markets across the world,'' said Michael Driscoll, a trader at Bear Stearns & Co. in New York. ``People in the U.S. have been anxiously awaiting a pullback. That may become self-fulfilling at some point.''
An indicator that measures the rate of expected stock-market swings rose the most since May. The Chicago Board Options Exchange SPX Volatility Index, known as the VIX, surged 25 percent as investors anticipated more risk in owning stocks.
Almost 49 stocks fell for every one that rose on the New York Stock Exchange. Some 1.57 billion shares changed hands on the Big Board, 55 percent more than the same time a week ago.
Alcoa
Alcoa, the world's biggest aluminum producer, tumbled $1.72 to $33.64. China is the leading consumer of the metal. Copper miner Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. fell $5.56 to $56.36 on expectations of decreased demand from China, also the biggest user of that metal.
A measure of raw-materials producers slumped 2.4 percent for the worst performance among 10 industry groups in the S&P 500.
Caterpillar, the biggest maker of earthmoving equipment, fell $2.66 to $64.60.
Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. extended their losses to a fifth day as a pullback in global equities threatens brokerages' earnings prospects, which are already hurt by an increase in mortgage defaults.
Lehman Brothers, the fourth-biggest U.S. securities firm by market value, dropped $3.41 to $74.42. No. 1 Goldman Sachs declined $12.60 to $201.40, while Morgan Stanley, the second largest, fell $3.38 to $75.14.
China's stock market drop is a concern because U.S. securities firms have become more reliant on growth in international markets, including Asia. At the same time, the weakening U.S. home loan market will reduce brokers' revenue from underwriting securities backed by mortgages.
Durable Goods Orders
The Commerce Department said orders placed with U.S. factories for durable goods slumped 7.8 percent following a 2.8 percent gain in December. Orders excluding transportation equipment slid 3.1 percent.
The figures suggest reluctance among companies to invest has carried into 2007. Bloated stockpiles at auto dealers and construction-equipment makers may restrain production early this year, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke told Congress this month.
``With some potential signs of cracks, be it China or the durable goods orders, this might be setting us up for a cooling or a pullback in the market,'' said Jason Cooper, who helps manage $2.5 billion at 1st Source Investment Advisors in South Bend, Indiana. ``I'm much more bearish than bullish right now.''
Qualcomm, IBM
Qualcomm Inc., the world's second-biggest maker of chips that run mobile phones, lost $2.13 to $40.52. Chief Executive Officer Paul Jacobs last year said the company expects a ``huge market'' for advanced devices in China. International Business Machines Corp., which owns about an 11 percent stake in China's Lenovo Group Ltd., dropped $2.17 to $94.74.
NYSE Group Inc. slid $4.34 to $85.67. JPMorgan downgraded the owner of the world's largest stock exchange to ``underweight'' from ``neutral,'' citing an issuance of stock to Euronext NV shareholders. NYSE is preparing to complete the purchase of Euronext, which will create the first trans-Atlantic equity market. About 110 million new NYSE shares will be issued as part of the merger, JPMorgan said.
Advanced Micro, IBM
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. slid 76 cents to $14.92 and Intel Corp. declined 66 cents to $20.19. Sales of low-end server systems slowed markedly last quarter, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing two research firms.
Although the research differed on details and reasons, both showed a slowdown in sales of x86 servers, which take their name from the chip technology used by the companies, the WSJ said.
Apple Inc. fell $4.27 to $84.38. The company delayed the release of Apple TV and said the set-top box for displaying digital video on widescreen televisions won't be available until mid-March.
RadioShack Corp. rallied $2.88, or 13 percent, to $25.33 for the steepest gain in the S&P 500. The third-largest U.S. electronics retailer said fourth-quarter earnings jumped 65 percent after it closed stores and eliminated jobs. The company forecast a 2007 profit of $1 to $1.20 a share, more than the average analyst estimate of 90 cents in a Bloomberg survey.
Brocade Communications Systems Inc. surged 35 cents to $9.04. The largest maker of switches for data-storage networks said fiscal first-quarter profit excluding some items was 17 cents a share, topping the 13-cent average analyst estimate in a Bloomberg survey. The stock was raised to ``buy'' from ``neutral'' at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and to ``outperform'' from ``peer perform'' at Bear, Stearns & Co.
