Actually it would be nicer if Net Income increased 50 percent. So do you think they show a profit next quarter? Looks like they have some momentum building.
What's really criminal is when they restrict online buying but still allow you to sell online.
That would be as sweet as Belgium chocolate.....
Thanks, that would prove they have an international presence...a big deal indeed. I'm sure everybody here would appreciate your efforts!
Hey, Asus I hope you didn't mean it's about to turn into a turd! Hey, nice board you got here.
flugel, have you actually seen their office over there in Belgium? Just wondering. A picture of their office in Belgium would be worth a thousand words...
Thanks Wes, I agree on the Risk reward on GBDX
Westeffer, what positives brought you into GBDX? Was it just the technicals? Any comments I'm sure would be appreciated here. This one's a lot different then ACBT, eh? The non transparency with GBDX has scared most people away. Do you have any knowledge that makes you feel GBDX is legit? I know I'm still holding and scratching my head. I bought very early on this one and since then I've been underwhelmed by their actions. I remember they used the Russian XMAS holiday as an excuse as to why the BOD wasn't announced...still waiting on that one. Now I hear of yet another holiday causing the delay of the buyout, well, that's a little hard to swallow but I'm still hoping for the best here.
Global, I'm frustrated too. I'm confident they are going down the right path. We all read their first filing, so they aren't just lying to us. It's just more complicated I guess and we will probably be waiting another month or so. At least the company hasn't been diluting for a long time.
Ironwill, thanks for posting. I thought I was the one here with the highest average cost...mine's 2.6 cents. It will take a very big move for me just to break even.
Thanks Creede, it's good that they are a BB company. At least we are not blind to what's happening here.
This company can't seem to get any respect. It's like nobody cares. I think that anybody that buys here and holds a year will be well rewarded.
Creede,
Can you think of any reason why they were shorting this so much?
I think it will be a mighty blow if the buyout doesn't happen. I don't think the company going forward will give investor's much confidence. The only way they could ever get the stock price up is if they actually had an audit done that proved how much they were selling. They couldn't even get a Board of Directors announced! Wasn't that delayed because of the XMAS holiday season in Russia? Now it's several months later and still no BOD. I know they are supposed to announce a lot of stuff when the buyout happens, but if it doesn't happen then what? I'm hoping that this buyout was in the plans for several months so they just said to hell with it! Why bother if the company is going private, etc.
I believe that is what they will do. It will be a good source of revenue for both parties. They have the brand name and smart energy has the tech. Looks like a good deal that gives them a lot of credibility.
Cool, I didn't know that. Thanks
I agree. It would be horrible to be a non reporting pinksheet stock and be associated with all those CPA's. They have to get an audit done and uplist at a bare minimum or else they will be a laughing stock.
If they actually can get a contract where it's installed into new auto's on the assembly line then it will make a ton of money. People obviously are seeing the potential in the stock since it has performed well since October.
Looks like the stock doubled since last October. When do you think they will start making money? I see their revenues really jumped in 2006, but it was overwhelmed by increased selling expenses. Hopefully they were just ramping up the sales force and will see even bigger returns in 2007. I haven't done much DD here yet, but I guess that's odvious!
Negger I agree with you 100 percent. I'm hoping this company isn't a scam but they haven't done much to ease my concern. IMO the only positive thing they've done is lower the Authorized and Outstanding share count, but that has now gone to waste with a gagged TA. I might feel different if I could watch people come and go from their office, or see their diamonds, or could verify some of the people they sold to..but that information is not available. I would love it if they really had all those diamonds listed as inventory on their website...but it's just a list that nobody can verify. They can list a black diamond the size of a cannonball and I don't think it would move this stock up. Why? Because nobody believes them!
So we have to just sit and wait. My mistake was that I bought way too early. It seems every positive PR that is released knocks the price down which is a red flag that we've been getting taken.
Now the buyout? God I hope so. I'm willing to take 1.5 cents and cut my losses.
Maybe Global had an initial inventory before they went public, so the shipments just added to the beginning balance. It would be nice to know though
So I guess we now know that those are retail prices on their website, since if you add up the values it comes to about 10 million. Nice profit margins!
"The site currently lists over $5 million in inventory and is available only to qualified wholesale buyers. If you are a qualified wholesale buyer, please call 212-221-0910, leave a message and a sales representative will call you back."
I figured when the initial offer of 38 cents drove the price down to 12 cents that something was really wrong. When nobody rushes in to get a 3 bagger! I have it on my watch list but will remain a spectator.
Cool! I remember seeing the video of the signing. That would've been a pretty elaborate scam to hire all those chinese actors
It's a lot easier now to see that they are for real. Could anybody here really verify anything that the company is doing in China? Now with yesterday's PR about the US with the companies they are dealing with has given me more confidence. The must have a real viable product after all...just wish they could get some revenues going!
That's a good point; 1st Qtr 07 should be even better.
I don't know what to think about the S-8. People are saying dilution is over but how do we really know?
Did you ask them where all those new inventoried diamonds came from?
Haseltine was involved here

I had two questions answered. I was almost not even going to bother sending any in so I'm glad I did. Patiently waiting for some big news...could be months away. Looks like we have a safe base in the 30 to 40 cent range.
is that "Under Construction" something that showed up just recently? I remember looking before but can't remember what it said when I tried the link...hopefully this is a new development. But I wonder why would they bother to announce anything about the BOD when they are about to go private? Doesn't make sense at this point.
What's your opinion when a company pays for something like this? I have to admit there's a lot of good analysis there but then again can we really say it's objective when it was paid for?
That explains it!
Odd that it was up 20 percent there but still sells for under 5 cents? Yet we closed at 5.3 cents yesterday.
Did that stock eventually get back up to $11?
This is the part I like
"W2 Energy has begun to evaluate other technologies acquired in the acquisition of World Wise Technologies. We have met with the company patent lawyer and are now preparing several patented applications for the Rotary Engine, the SEGS (Small Electrical Generating System), as well as the Low Head Water Turbine. The company also has several other propitiatory technologies in robotics, artificial intelligence, and mechanical compression technologies. Mr. Michael McLaren stated, "We are compiling our technologies and applying the modifications and advancements required to file additional patents in order to secure the longevity of the technology. These technologies are still very much on the cutting edge and the company will be seeking venture partners and or buyers for the technologies that no longer fit the over-all business plan."
Was anybody in this stock when they purchased World Wise? Sounds like we can expect more good products down the road. This is just the beginning. I think the stock has seen it's lows for good.
Is the time for WWEN now?
I'm glad they're avoiding the toxic financing. It's been in a stable trading range for months. I think this one is going to erupt in the next 4 months.

That great news. I'm glad they didn't go the toxic route. Feel pretty good about our long term future here. This will one day be a real monster, maybe sooner then we think. Doc, does that mean we pretty much passed the SEC review? Anybody have any idea of when we finally get off the pinks? I'm assuming it will take more then 3 weeks but I don't know.
There could be more of a delay then you think. It says they are traveling to the suitor's place, which is somewhere in the deepest part of Siberia; that means they're travelling by dogsled...
I think it's a good sign that people were dying to sell it to you.
That was a good find! Thanks for sharing.
That's a good point. GBDX does have limited resources or they wouldn't have become a public stock. Therefore they couldn't make the best use of their export license once the quota's were lifted. It sounds like their suitor has a lot more money and thus could make a lot more off that license. All good for us of course...
