#10 - You wonder if Marr is to be a "last resort" option. Otherwise you would have to question why they hired two individuals to actively pursue additional investors. Perhaps if they have no takers, Marr will put up the $ as you suggested. I can't see them giving up at this point.
Calypte Biomedical (CALY: Research, Estimates) up 4-1/8 to 5-5/8. The biotech reported after-the-bell Thursday that its HIV-1 antibody urine test has been approved by the State Drug Administration of the People's Republic of China. The product is now the only urine-based HIV-1 test approved for distribution within China.
Last time China approval was received the stock jumped some 300%. Let's hope the past is an indication of the future. I'm not expecting that big a jump, just thought it was an interesting detail. What happened with those tests? Big flop I imagine.
Thanks...yeah I was actually looking at that. I was just confused by JellyRolls post which stated 2 million shares traded afterhours. Nasdaq is only showing about 440,000. I was wondering which site he was getting his info from. I'm not buying into anything here, could be a pump and dump before delisting. Lets hope not.
Do you have a link? Infoquotes.com doesn't work for me. Thanks.
.29?! Do you have list of sales/amounts/time? I don't think its China Approval, since that wasn't going to be brought to the decision table until September. Which is good, because it will only exponentiate with China news.
Thanks...that definately clears it up. I appreciate your information.
Hey Sower,
What are the benefits of this new platform? Any idea? I don't understand the need of a new platform. Thanks. I will try to get some more information regarding it.
2006Aids Conference...detailing some attendees. Looks like a great oppt. to network and create a buzz for their product.

Seriously, how pathetic can an individual be? I would hate to be you. Get a real job. Please Coin, can you remove this paid poster? ...and if your not paid, I suppose that's even more pathetic. It's one thing to question the company, but to over do it as you do is heartwrenching. I noticed you didn't call in yesterday, why? You seem to be the one who is so worried.
Simple math. Looks like the OTC tests are selling for $2.50. I was actually expecting a bit more. I imagine they sell on the shelves for approx. $15.00. Either way they seem to be finally making some positive strides. I can honestly say that the cc yesterday was one of the most upbeat I've heard since investing a year and a half ago. With China, India, Russia, South Africa, US OTC...the potential is enourmous. The question is can they find the funding to keep operations going until the potential is realized.
BASHERS DO THE FOLLOWING:
20. Encourage people to call the company. 99% won't.
Will you be an exception to the basher rules? I look forward to hearing you ask your questions today during the cc. It's not like you have anything else going on, this is your job. You seem to be the one obsessing over the questions. What will you be calling yourself? Thanks.
Ryan,
Thanks for the email. We're working very hard to turn the situation
around. I hope you'll be on the call Wednesday.
Regards,
Roger
--Roger's response to my little note of dismal earnings.
At least he seems to understand and sympathize with our disappointment. First time I've ever received an email back from him. I really wish I could call in Wednesday but work constraints limit such a thing. Hope many of you here will be asking some good questions...including you Reads (don't be scared to call yourself).
EOM - Thanks Coin
"Further, this approval is a critical milestone for international sales in countries which require regulatory approval in the country of manufacture prior to granting their own approvals"
Basically stating that there are some countries that will currently not even consider approving the Oral Test until Thailand/China approves it first. With China approval, this will open up the door to those countries...I wonder which countries those are.
Yup, you are right. I went back and listened to the cc in the end of March and it did mention that he was with SF Capital. Any idea why SF Capital is never listed as an institutional holder? Did they sell off all their shares? I can't seem to find too much information regarding this investment company. Thoughts/comments. Thanks.

This concerns me. Marr can default on their loan, virtually taking over Calyte and becoming 100% owners. Unless I am missing something. Does this seem likely/unlikely? Why wouldn't Marr do this/why would they? Suggestions welcomed. Thanks.
PS: Thanks Coin for your update regarding the China process, I really appreciate getting information that is truthful. Wouldn't care to disclose your position would you?
Is it only an assumption that Brian is a "Large" investor? How do you come to that conclusion? Thanks
This is not a suprise at all to me. Delisting always takes an initial toll on the PPS. Calypte's inability to communicate any sort of effective timeline regarding SFDA was disappointing, I was really hoping for once they would have something done when they said it would be done. My real frustration is in regards to Gale's salary, bonuses, etc. The company can barely generate $100,000 a qtr and we are going to pay him that much? Wow. Will be listening closely during the CC in August to determine my plan of action. Hope some of you can call in and ask some good questions. Best of luck all.
I understood the timeline to be @ 120 days from application acceptence. My thought was somewhere more around early-mid August. I think its fair to assume they did not receive fast track status and am very surprised. Manipulation is a bitch.
I purchased shares of HIV about a week ago using TDAMERITRADE and experienced no such issues. I have never come across such a request before purchasing shares even when buying OTC and Pink Sheet stocks through AMTD. There was a message today on Yahoo claiming that someone hacked into an individual's account and used the money they were able to hash out to buy Calypte stock. I highly doubt the post was legit. Let me know what TDAmer says. Thanks.
I thought I recall Gale quoting the price per test circa $1.60. I assumed the inital sale brought in about $55,000. Either way this is a nice beginning and should bring in a steady amount of quarterly revenue. If the tests seem to be attracting more testees (haha), we could see the additional 4 million tests bought up.
