Well, I'm not at all happy about it falling. All I want is some good news that will boost the pps enough for me to grant my shares to another, even luckier person.
BRTX far exceeds my frustration on any other stock that I have ever owned. I can only hope that I am lucky enough to have stepped in golden dog shit by buying so much of it, but then again I have never seen golden dog shit, so maybe my chances aren't that good....?
10M+ shares traded today. The volume has been dryer than the Mojave desert.
It's like watching 365 layers of paint dry one day at a time.
Crickets... all I hear is damn crickets...And maybe a few tree frogs.
That's what I said. Tiny volume today. People holding on, but no one seems to want to buy. You speak ah no English...!?
5m shares traded with a couple mins to go. Great sign that people are holding on, but terrible sign for people that want to buy it before the upcoming meeting/ news release.
If they get funding and launch the clinical trial in August, then we will see $.05. My sell point is $.0475.
I think the bulk of holders/ remaining creditors are waiting until after the Board Mtg in August.
Daily volatility is likely due to day traders.
Hangin' on like a barnacle on the hull of this rusty ship. Although I feel more like a dingleberry :)
The OTC works in mysterious ways. 4.04 gets a MC of $134m.. It’s been there before and with much less going for it.
I would be very surprised if it didn’t make $.04 when there is some actionable intelligence. When it hits this level before year end, it will be time to PARTY!!!
Buckle up for another BRTX ride. I wonder what the lower wall will be today?
Read #4 out loud to yourself. It clearly states if/then. Not a fabrication, or desperate assumption. I’m not sure why it still surprises me how people see the world as they choose, not as it is.
Better read it again…
What it seems to say is that an RS would be done, only if incorporation in Nevada did not go through. Again, I really don't know what one has to do with the other, but it requires investigation.
What does Nevada offer BRTX that Deleware doesn't and would warrant an R/S as a contingency? We know they pay lower taxes and corporate liability is much better for mgt.
Need some help from ya'll on this bulls and bears alike.
There is no reasonable expectation that incorporation in Nevada would be rejected, so I dont think that simply incorporation there is really the issue that would justify an R/S. It just doesnt make any sense.
Now, if I were selling the company I too would incorporate in Nevada over Deleware. If there were a deal underway, and it was expected to close some time after the move to Nevada this makes more sense to me.
If BRTX moves fwd an R/S is inevitable and will likely come with the dumping of a significant # shares into the market at the same time.
I had a dream that Silva's team discovered that growing stem cells hypoxically resulted in "super" stem cells that could detect and kill cancer cells as pseudo t-cells. As the tumor was destroyed, the cells would then covert to the target organ tissues, fully repairing them. I woke up very excited until I realized it was only a dream.
Only if... :)
Price is being manipulated. IMO Hold your shares and wait for news. If it goes to hell in a handbasket, then that will be the fate of we unfortunate long-baggers. And with good news....this could turn from dog-doo on your shoe to gold plated fixtures in your loo.
May the universe bring BRTX and it's investors GREAT fortune...
GLTA
As long as mgmt continues to fail to move the ball fwd, it will most likely decay towards $0. Trips are quite likely in this environment.
I wish I had never stepped in this POS, but I'm in for the long ride either way.
GLTA
Damn another 14% drop pre-mkt before the open. I feel like a baby Harp seal getting clubbed to death on the ice.
No substantive news = sharp declines/ volatility.
BRTX sucks hind tit, but far too invested to jump. If the ship goes under, then I'll be making a special trip to Long Island to express my great displeasure with mgt.
GLTA. Hold on tight!!
When I read it, It appears that an RS would happen if incorporation in Nevada didnt work out. Although I'm not clear as to what one has to do with the other.
An RS is inevitable unless the company were acquired for its IP.
Open BRTX on investorhub and look for filings. Read the last one.
And the ‘new’ BRTX had a max at $.046 / share, or a MC ~ $154M. Where do you think the ball will land once there is news of the clinical launch?
I was interested in determining the historical max. MC of BRTX: in 2017, the pps hit an all time high of $4.70/ share with ~6.5M shares in issue. This gave them a Max. MC of ~ $30.5M
As of close today, the BRTX MC = $16.7M (55% of the historical max).
So, a pps = $.01 today is roughly the equivalent of the historical peak back in 2017. I hope this helps put things in perspective for everyone regarding the current state of “goodwill” for BRTX vs history.
IMO a reasonable PPS = $.008 less any major “good” news. Through this lens BRTX sure seems cheap to me at this price range.
When did # issued shares become 3.35B? I thought it was 3.16B ?
Let’s wait for $1 for a split :)
Nothing but waves until there is news. Fing big waves apparently...
Not really sure. I hope it's not becasue they are finalizing their plans to flee to Switzerland.
The management is awfully quiet. They don't seem too worried about share price right now... Why dat?
Jay Man,
You are talking to a fence post. These beliefs are not substantiated in fact.
This thing is either a big ass diamond in the rough, or a worthless lump of coal. I have been sitting my fat ass on this applying lots of pressure for a long ass time and now hoping that when I stand up... Whooop daeh it is...
The Hope diamond :)
A lot of venom on that one Jaggy. Don't get me wrong, I get it. I've been rolling in this manure going on 1.5 years now. I am looking forward to getting off this ride soon. Either with fat pockets, or living on the streets.
Something must come soon. If you listen real close you can hear the song from Love Actually... I can feel it in my finger, I feel it in my toes.
Well just replace that with rod for me :)
GLTA!! What a stinky ride it has been so far. But from manure can spring new growth, yeah I know prolly some kind of fungus but whatever.
Yes, it is indeed speculation based on the data at hand + a little background in Pharma to lean on. Like everything, I guess we'll see what happens.
Nice to see the further appreciation today. News has to break soon. If they are doing the trial, then funding and launch of recruitment phase must be imminent to meet their latest promise. If there is an alternative deal on the table, that too would need to close very soon.
It will be interesting to see where this all goes in the near term.
I hope she flies high like a beautiful butterfly making it “rain” on a sunny day.
Even if this should land turd side up in the end, I have learned an awful lot about stinky pinkies.
The real reason they call them pinkies is because of all the sharks in these here waters.
GLTA!
.
Any truth to the rumor that LA converted shares to warrants on Friday? Was there a filing on this?
I don’t know who started the fully funded rumor. I too have not read this in any documents/ filings. They clearly said that they need $12+M for the BRTX100 clinical trial and build out. The trial should cost them about $4.5M, the rest is building and related expenses of the build out- class x clean rooms, etc.
Like most things: I’ll believe it when I see it, not I’ll see it when I believe it. These are two very different perspectives.
What I “see” is still a high risk investment, but with some very key attributes that make it quite special. Of course, there is no way of knowing for sure, but the excitement that Alstodt and DeSilva have over their stem cell tech seems to be quite genuine.
The future of this endeavor is not likely BRTX-100. It is the thermostem technology and other stem cell applications that will bring home the gold. With the labs and equipment associated with the $12M they could develop a lucrative stem cell growing operation for other companies. Autologous stem cell research in the US and Europe will likely explode over the next 5 years.
Please forgive me for my optimism, but I really have a feeling that these guys may be sitting on a game changing technology for stem cell harvesting. It is interesting how quickly they secured their latest patents in key markets.
I would prefer a buy out by big Pharma and cash out, but this may be a long shot…? I hope they can at least secure adequate funding w/o bending over all that have invested in them.
All my opinion, of course…
I’m wondering about Monday. We might see another sell off w/ price moving back down to the .005 area?? This seems to be the pattern after every big move up. If there is a selling frenzy in the morning, I will lie in wait and buy near the bottom (track RSI, when it starts moving up after being in the 30% or lower region), then buy more.
Long and strong here until it starts raining $100 bills :)
I really think they are sitting on some very valuable IP that is of interest of a number of large institutions.
Most interesting is Merck and their Januvia drug for type 2 diabetes. Studies have shown that stem cell therapies in combination with Januvia had remarkable results in mice.
Stem Cell therapies have been under development in the world for 15+ years. It’s time to accelerate adoption of autologous stem cells. I get a feeling that they may have discovered some interesting things with their hypoxically grown stem cells. By creating a harsh environment for their initial growth and allowing Sir Darwin to naturally selectt the strongest cells, it makes sense that the efficacy of the stem cells would be that much better once injected into the body.
There are some interesting articles out there on the subject. Just search diabetes and Pharma companies.
Go BRTX!!
Holy crap! If you want to do some DD on this market space: search estimated cost of diabetes each year in the countries in which they have a patent for thermostem. A 2017 data based study of the US was a mere $ 327 billion per year.
What would a “silver bullet” for curing diabetes be worth…..!?
That’s it! I’m holding for $10…. ;)
I've been screaming the same thing 4evr. Might as well make some $ on the swings while ur holding that heavy bag.
I am thinking more and more that BRTX-100 is not the ball we should be watching. As Desilva noted the real "whale in the room" is thermostem.
BRTX=100 is obviously not the primary focus of this firm. It is a legacy they must wear until they no longer exist as BRTX. And of course it's just a licensing deal anyway.
I may be totally wrong but I believe the thermostem IP is very valuable because its potential to cure so many obesity related diseases (and it's actually even a larger scope than that!). The only intrinsic value of this company is its IP.
BRTX-100 just gets you buried in clinical trials for the next 5 years. Why not peddle the IP to the market and steal away with millions$ and then on to the next conquest...?
It might not be what Jesus would do, but then again....
Maybe I’m crazy, but it hit me today like plank to the head, that a deal may really be in the works. For me, all the indicators point my rod in this direction. I only wish I had a reasonable valuation of the thermostem IP.
Totally my conjecture and opinion here, of course.
Could you imagine a $500M valuation…?
My party would go on for many days….. ;)
It’s the fat they’re after. The BRTX-100 is not reflective of the value of this company. It is the ( off the shelf) thermo-stem patents that hold the most intrinsic value. This got the attention of others in the space when they announced in March. Again, what are they worth to a company w/ some $ and IP that covers so many markets?
I am thinking that a sell out deal is more and more likely. The move to Nevada also makes sense in this regard, because of the much improved corporate tax code.
If I were selling the company, I would do the same prior to inking of a deal. This would.mean millions more to Lance, and Desilva.
I am gonna keep holding. II think BRTX is a racehorse in donkey’s clothing….
I've been making great $ on this volatility. Long and glad to buy 'em cheap and sell 'em a li'l higher.
Really not trying to pump here- I'd like to hear both sides w/o retarded remarks if possible:
What if a near term acquisition is at play here. 1) Their IP, esp. thermostem have intrinsic value, and their patents are distributed well in key countries. 2) What is their IP really worth? The current MC is pitifully low and there is no way that Lance et al would 'give away the store' at such a low MC. I say it's worth at least $150M to the "right" buyer. And I think this is extremely cheap.
The question is who would risk $150M on acquiring the IP of this company?
A multi billion$ institution with a lot of cash (most of them at the moment) and it fits well with their vision on stem cell technology in the world- especially those that are focused on diabetes cures and treatments which is a HUGE and growing market.
After MGT takes their gold and all debts are satisfied, there may be $134M
left/ 3.16 b shares = $.0424
I agree that 3rd person statements that they spoke to Lance and he said “x” are not reliable. A CEO would not reveal any relevant information to a random investor/ caller. It just doesn’t make sense. I have his number and have communicated with him via email.
Why do I feel like I’m back in high school when I am in this forum…..?
I bought another 8M shares yesterday at .0042. Thanks to whomever let them go at this price.
Hoping to sell them back today at a nice profit. Just waiting for some damn news!!!
