Ur-Energy Raises Funds for Ongoing Lost Creek Construction
LITTLETON, Colo., March 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ur-Energy Inc. (TSX:URE, NYSE MKT:URG) ("Ur-Energy" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the closing of a uranium sales transaction that provides an immediate payment to the Company of approximately US$5.1 million. Proceeds from the transaction will support the ongoing construction at the Company's flagship Lost Creek Project.
(Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20110913/LA67628LOGO)
Ur-Energy, with the cooperation of one of its utility customers, assigned a portion of its contractual delivery obligations to Traxys, a large uranium and natural resource trading company, in exchange for a current cash payment. Ur-Energy has retained additional future delivery obligations under this and other previously announced uranium sales agreements.
Ur-Energy President and CEO Wayne Heili commented, "The Company is pleased to have the assistance and support of our counter-parties in this transaction. The transaction, which might best be understood as a sale of contractual future product deliveries, has allowed the Company to raise funds without dilution to our shareholder's interests or repayment obligations. The cash infusion will help Ur-Energy in maintaining a steady construction pace at Lost Creek while we await the finalization of the Wyoming Industrial Revenue Bond approval process."
The construction efforts at the fully licensed Lost Creek project are continuing on-schedule for initial production this year. Electrical and pipe-fitting work has been initiated within the plant building. Construction of an auxiliary shop building is also underway. Two disposal wells have been installed and developed. The construction of the first mine unit also remains on schedule while the pipeline between the plant and mine unit facilities is being installed. Updated photographs of the progress of construction at Lost Creek are available at our website: www.ur-energy.com.

Thats my thought on URZ and URG. I sell a bit when they rise and buy at times like this.
Uranerz Energy (TSX:URZ,NYSEMKT:URZ) – More and more I’m becoming a believer in the long-term prospects for uranium and this company’s Executive Chairman had a good story to tell and told it well. Uranerz has a fully permitted property in Wyoming and expects production to begin later this year.
The project will use an “in situ” mining method which is different from the “hard rock” mining that occurs in Canada’s Athabasca region. In situ is a low-cost method of mining that uses a leaching solution to extract the uranium from sandstone uranium deposits. This method of extraction leaves no gaping wounds in the Earth’s crust. In 2011, in situ mining was responsible for 45% of all uranium produced in the World. It’s legit.
Uranerz has deals in place to sell its uranium once production begins, one of which is with Exelon, the biggest nuclear energy provider in the U.S. In addition, the company has cash in the bank. The price of uranium will dictate URZ’s future, but having a low-cost operation and product buyers lined up seems like a good starting point.

Last week The Japan Times reported that Japanese utilities were selling uranium inventory. The news claimed the Japan Atomic Power Company (JAPC) had already sold some of its inventory to help repay loans taken out over the past year. Tokyo Electric Power is also said to be considering the same plan.

URG has moved into the zone also. The companies are alot alike both expecting production this year.
You are right but the market is giving me a sell off impression which is not appealing to buy!
Im no expert but I would guess they are going to secure some kind of additional financing. Cash and cash equivalents as of Oct 1st of $ 11,784,479.

4 Stocks Under $5 Spiking Higher - views

Uranerz Energy (URZ) is an exploration stage company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of properties in the uranium sector. The stock is trading up 2.7% to $1.50 in recent trading.
Today’s Range: $1.46-$1.54
52-Week Range: $1.08-$3.07
Volume: 486,000
Three-Month Average Volume: 305,066
From a technical perspective, URZ is moving modestly higher here right above its 50-day moving average of $1.37 with above-average volume. This move is also starting to push URZ back above its 200-day moving average of $1.50 and within range of triggering a near-term breakout trade. That trade will hit if URZ manages to take out some near-term overhead resistance at $1.54 with high volume.
Traders should now look for long-biased trades in URZ as long as it’s trending above its 50-day at $1.37, and then once it sustains a move or close above those breakout levels with volume that hits near or above 305,066 shares. If that breakout triggers soon, then URZ will set up to re-test or possibly take out its next major overhead resistance levels at $1.73 to $1.89. Any high-volume move above $1.89 will then put $2 to $2.20 into range for shares of URZ.

A national holiday, in this country, cannot have an exclusively religious meaning. The secular meaning of the Christmas holiday is wider than the tenets of any particular religion: it is good will toward men—a frame of mind which is not the exclusive property (though it is supposed to be part, but is a largely unobserved part) of the Christian religion.
The charming aspect of Christmas is the fact that it expresses good will in a cheerful, happy, benevolent, non-sacrificial way. One says: “Merry Christmas”—not “Weep and Repent.” And the good will is expressed in a material, earthly form—by giving presents to one’s friends, or by sending them cards in token of remembrance . . . .
The best aspect of Christmas is the aspect usually decried by the mystics: the fact that Christmas has been commercialized. The gift-buying . . . stimulates an enormous outpouring of ingenuity in the creation of products devoted to a single purpose: to give men pleasure. And the street decorations put up by department stores and other institutions—the Christmas trees, the winking lights, the glittering colors—provide the city with a spectacular display, which only “commercial greed” could afford to give us. One would have to be terribly depressed to resist the wonderful gaiety of that spectacle." | The Ayn Rand Calendar
Merry Christmas
