Cargo - I'm still in the long term TA learning curve. Your COPI Golden Cross call has me confused. The cross is now a month old - I thought old data like this was no longer pertinent. Am I wrong? Please explain. thanks! BR
Jason, Chart & others: good food for thought posts. Here's 3 of my favorites:
If you are afraid of Failure - you will fail.
If money is your hope for independence,
you will never have it;
the only real hope a man can have in this world
is an abundance of knowledge, experience and ability.
-- Henry Ford
When you do the things you have to do
when you have to do them,
the day will come
when you can do the things
you want to do
when you want to do them.
rscomps, thanks for the detailed explanation - your time is appreciated. BR
rscomps, just how do you find the RSS feeds useful? thanks, BR
Baron, I'm still having trouble accessing your board. If I go to boards and enter Baron's Picks in the search box, this is what comes up:
Something unexpected happened. Click back on your browser and try again.
If this happens again, send a PM to Meatloaf describing what you were trying to do when the error occurred.
Only way I can access is to go to the WU, find one of your posts and click on your board link. Wierd. This happened this am on my windows machine and now this afternoon on my Mac. Just thought you might want to check on it. BR
Baron, congrats - you are successful. I don't post a lot, but do review many boards. I'm in the rebuilding stage after a disastrous penny run. Once a little more flush, I'll be getting a premium membership, but in the meantime I'm scrambling wherever I can. Thanks, BR
Baron, OT: checked out your board and tried to public reply since I'm a freebie. Are you aware your board is limited to premium members only? thanks Sorry WU members...no other way to contact.
Just bought some INIX at the ask...
Chart, thank you.
Chart: I am interested in BMSN, but the low average daily volume concerns me. Your thoughts? thanks, BR
Chart -yeppers - been glued to CNBC since 2200 hrs. Speculation that Lehman is next... Your blue puke bucket is great! Couldn't find green? heheheheh
FWIW: special early programming of the international CNBC show Cash Flow now being broadcast on CNBC - great summary of the early activity in all foreign markets. Br
thanks, Domain311, I've rec'd his spam emails and wondered if he was legit. Good luck! BR
Chartinator, and you are doing an excellent job. Your time and effort in providing us the benefits of your experience and knowledge is greatly appreciated from this corner.
People with your honesty, character and generosity in this business are rare indeed.
Please don't ever go into politics! LOL Thanks! BR
NY - file a complaint with the St. Louis HQ and/or change offices, telling the new one specifically why you are changing.
There job is not to offer an opinion...BR
Col - OT:my folks used to live in Sarasota and a buddy & I used to sail a 32' Challenger out of Longboat Key. Good times...
Springtime is the best time in FL. Enjoy and drink another on me! LOL
Monkish, I disagree, you and all the profs here are helping tremendously. The trick for me is gaining the confidence of recognizing situations on my own efforts and your verifications are providing that confidence. Thank you all...
Monkish, great, thank you. I may be finally making some progress.
Prof M - "larn" me sumthin' har: I see nothing on either of these charts ATNO & Amer. SW Music that indicate to me a buy signal. Am I correct? thanks BR
Oldhamegg, we've all learned that hard lesson too many times!
Chart, is your call on PLTG based on cup & handle? thanks, BR
Chart: I love your attitude and goal. If we can occasionally play on a level playing field with the MMs, the seed for major change in the markets will have been planted. It's time the MMs, Cramer type hedge fund managers, etc. give us the respect we are due and quit playing with unfair advantage. Our numbers will grow... Thanks, BR
Monkish, I'm sure every local rural region has their own definition of redneck. Just like the battle between Florida/Georgia "crackers".
Monkish, do you also have a still out in the back 40? heheh
Monkish, I'm sure there's a story, but I don't know it. I actually saw the definition in a dictionary some years ago.
Tina, I'm only a casual Bball fan although I lean to Duke, more a "freakish" golf nut.
Have volunteered two yrs running at Greensboro and will likely do again this summer.
Monkish - small world; I've been here 12 yrs after growing up in Michigan and 20 yrs in Florida. BTW, did you know that the official definition of "redneck" is a Michigan farmer! LOL
Tina, yeah I caught that. But you missed the 3 peat reference. I'm in ASU country - Boone.
Tina, Hi, there. I thought you were an NYC girl! I'm up here in 3-peat country with the snow. BR
Quitphil, thank you. That's exactly what I was looking at and just wanted verification that I was on the right track. BR
thank you
Weekly is what I'm looking at...
LOL - yeah damn decimal points! Back to the .0065 resistance
question. Just trying to understand and verifying specifically where you are seeing this resistance?
Chartinator: I am very impressed with the camaraderie of all on this board and the willingness of all the profs to provide assistance. Glad to be a lurker...
LLEG question: you mention resistance around .006. Are you looking at late Dec & early Sep of 06? In your opinion, what time frame do you guesstimate hitting the .006 area and then the low .1s? thanks for all you and your teams efforts.
BR
Golf: I normally try bid first, but too much spread here. Tried halfway for 60 minutes, nothing moved so I moved to ask and got hit in 30 sec.
FWIW: just placed an order for FRGY. On restriction, had to call broker. On phone with Scottrade for exactly 48 seconds and order placed.
OldHam, sorry to hear about your broker problems. I've been with Scottrade for over 10 years and literally have never had a problem. I've personally worked with 4 different offices and the folks in each were/are always polite and return calls if they don't know an answer. Trades by phone, even on pennies, have never taken more than a couple of minutes. Never a ridiculous 45 min! If that happened, I'd be changing brokers in a flash. Good luck. BTW, I finally landed at
Scottrade after poor customer service from Eturd, Ameriturd and Schlob. :)
Blasted - ya got me by 18 seconds!
NXCN now plugging along on 7 cylinders instead of 6: .41 x .42
Augustafriends, thanks for the inquiry. Sorry, can't PM as I'm a freebie. No, did not get in, but the email timing had no effect. I'm currently in a major rebuilding from some huge losses in a fraudalent CEO play.
I'm working for large percentage gains in the teeny weenies.
