Yes I hear Canada is over run with shorts , and polar bears in the summer Lordy Lordy you should just do us all a favor and check out the 2 most popular Bullboards in Canada and see all the hype going on about GVSI...it's a real eye opener
I agree < I am actually having a lot of fun since this started it's way up in December.
I wonder if the new crew that showed up today will learn anything.
One thing for sure nothing ever goes straight up and there is no timeline or deadline here .
Daily drama is just noise.
It's all good except if you're on the losing end.
But IMO we are going exactly in the right direction
yes a lot of noise today but I'm lovin' this play ...can't wait for monday and beyond
yes indeed cuggegrosse
How can you tell....Level 2?
so who is the MM for GVSI , I always assumed from my Level 2 that most of the action here is Brokers like Citadel, CSTI, OTCX and GTSM all flipping shares back and forth with the help of an HFT
TSNP retired 551 million shares on Nov 13 2020 news release then tied up another 300 million a week later, check the charts to see how that moved the share price
It is becoming obvious that the OTC sure don't like retail, yet we keep them in business....there has to be a loser for every winner and they want it kept that way
I use Quotemedia for my Level 2 and it now shows me info that was not available to me before Pink Limited, yet my bank in CDA still say their 3rd party broker won't allow it
Yes some banks will ....some still don't allow buying
There are 3 main exchanges in Canada the TSX, The Venture exchange and the CSE (Canadian stock exch) I never got a reply like that one.... hopefully that warning disappears from their website tomorrow
"Warning! This security is eligible for Unsolicited Quotes Only
This stock is not eligible for proprietary broker-dealer quotations. All quotes in this stock reflect unsolicited customer orders. Unsolicited-Only stocks have a higher risk of wider spreads, increased volatility, and price dislocations. Investors may have difficulty selling this stock. An initial review by a broker-dealer under SEC Rule15c2-11 is required for brokers to publish competing quotes and provide continuous market making."
They say they are doing this to protect us from ourselves LOL
Let's put the blame where it should be and contact your broker if this isn't tradeable tomorrow
The thing is Professionals and brokers are excluded from EM restrictions. When I look at Level 2 depth on GVSI I interpret it as 4 or 5 brokers like Citadel flipping shares all day using HFT software yet others see mysteries..
Bottom line this is not available to most Americans , Canadians and Mexicans yet because of OTC "protecting" (LOL) retail
You know what I got back when I emailed OTC today :
" Hello,
We don't service retail investors. You should have your broker reach out to us.
Corporate Services "
Most Canucks don't know about GVSI and don't trade on the OTC because they can't do it in a Tax free trading account only in a Cash or margin account so they have to pay capital gains . They also can't trade OTC in a registered account.
And most banks in Canada still won't allow buying in Expert Market because of the new laws last year. So when GVSI was EM if you wanted to buy GVSI , an unknown, in Canada you would have to open an account in a discount broker that could trade EM stocks.
Now Canucks still can't buy it in Bank brokers because of Pink Ltd or that second warning on OTC
38 million canucks, most are employed during the day and 4 or 5 Trading exchanges in Canada, do the math
One of the things we need to overcome is getting rid of this on the OTC website :
" Warning!
Hopefully the Attorney letter addresses that and the OTC responds tomorrow...the OTC don't care too much about retail even though they say it
Good point , the 2 main Boiler rooms in Canada have not said anything about GVSI so I wonder where that info about Canadians dumping , frontloading etc comes from .
Is there a Link?
You do know , don't you that professionals and brokers have been able to trade GVSI for the last year or so in the USA....just not retail
You would be astonished how little interest there is in Canada.
The 2 main bullboards in Canada and GVSI....not a peep, so I don't know where that fiction is coming from...is there some kind of Level 3 or 4 to confirm that?
Been studying the similarities between GVSI and TSNP because I find it helps to plan a strategy .
Been commenting onit
Thanks for filling in the blanks, let me know if anyone can find the changes in status on the OTC, such as when it changed from Dark to Pink to OTCQB etc
Might help
Sometimes I think GVSI is bad for me....better stop thinkin'
Well one thing is certain ....it will be an interesting next few weeks....Good Luck to us all
Patience is key and one can learn a lot from History....there was a lot of time and data in that summary of how things moved in TSNP, shouldn't be ignored because it doesn't echo our desires....a work in progress
I wouldn't call it investing, you have to know what you're doing in these stocks, sometimes you end up holding the bag for a while
OTC are showing the complete Financials under the "Financials" dropdown now under Income Statement ....Disclosure is updated as well
https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/GVSI/financials
Good question....I think a lot of us are misinformed about the Market Makers role in all of this and whether they are really interfering like some would say
I don't even think GVSI has had a MM assigned yet
It's on the OTC site under filings and disclosure but the OTC have not removed the warning :"
"This stock is not eligible for proprietary broker-dealer quotations. All quotes in this stock reflect unsolicited customer orders. Unsolicited-Only stocks have a higher risk of wider spreads, increased volatility, and price dislocations. Investors may have difficulty selling this stock. An initial review by a broker-dealer under SEC Rule15c2-11 is required for brokers to publish competing quotes and provide continuous market making." yet
Edit: I guess...it is in the eye of the beholder but should be seen in context....
...and yes I took your advice and adjusted my post , thanks
Thanks....and I guess it should depend on the context if it is considered what the fuck or what the freak as if it was aimed at a 13 year old in a polite way
Kind of early for that and why give out ammunition for the doubters
Yes I've been studying TSNP during their runup and it is coming together for GVSI very similarly to that one but I feel this could be more explosive
In a post, especially one that is an attack and the attacker uses LMFAO !! at the start of the post (or anywhere for that matter)....I read: " Laughing My Fucking Ass Off !! " . Am I the only one here that does that?
How much LMFAO is tolerated before it becomes offensive or bullying ?
The Attorney Letter should fix this IMO
According to info from my bank and from the OTC Issuer Services, this is what is holding up brokers on buy orders for GVSI:
"Warning: This stock is not eligible for proprietary broker-dealer quotations.
Once this comes off then we'll be free trading again...or so I'm told
Don't get me wrong , I'm a shareholder BUT isn't it true that with the language on the latest deal that the shareprice will be stuck where it is now until the deal goes thru? Something about calculating the o/s versus the cost of the deal?
