I've suspected this for a while as well. If true, HUGE. Memorial Sloan Kettering is a massive, well-known hospital in New York. I lived in NYC for 30+ years. One of the larger and most prestigious hospitals in the city. A city which granted has many large, prestigious hospitals and medical centers but it's up there!
I continue to believe there's funding solutions being worked on. And I feel quite confident in that belief.
I'm not the least bit bothered by it if that's what's occurring. I've got plenty of shares and if it happens to dip, I'll continue to add more where I can.
Too much going on here to not have a GREAT year.
- Expansion into the UK with massive potential in a country with nationalized healthcare
- Expansion into agriculture, including cannabis - a massive growth industry.
- Independent testing / verification of oil and gas results are ongoing
- More hospitals coming on board
- More revenue in the pipe
- More growth potential NOW than at any other time.
Yeah, I'm not worried if the OS increased by 7-8% lol. I honestly look at it as a rare gift right now that we've formed a strong base of longs here who aren't going to flip at the first shade of green or dump at the first sign of red.
Between myself and the people I know- I can almost guarantee we own 10-15% of the float, if not more. And I know we're not selling until it's gold.
Not saying there won't be some tough times here and there. Nothing goes up in a straight line and nothing is guaranteed. Especially not a penny stock. But that said, I've never been more all-in on something than PCTL.
My humble opinion, of course, but I've only been here since last summer and seen the ups and downs so what do I know.
Could be a note or two that had to be taken care of. Wouldn't be the end of the world or the strangest thing. But I imagine we'll get clarity soon enough.
Still not worried. I know what I own and I'm holding long. Too much positive going on with PCTL this year.
Yes, NOT bothered. (typo. updated)
Here's hoping!
Not terribly concerned about the updated OS. I mean, it's not great, sure, but what's that? A 7% increase? 8%? With all the other stuff going on right now I'm really not bothered by it.
Nicely done!
Seriously. $PCTL is one of the best opportunities I've seen on the OTC.
Scam? Hardly.
Tip for the newbies: Scams are companies that don't have a product (PCTL does), scams are companies that don't have a patent (PCTL does), scams are companies that are shells (PCTL isn't), scams are companies that don't have customers (PCTL does), revenue (PCTL does), international expansion (PCTL does), growing presence in different markets (PCTL does).
They may have some rough spots here and there like any company, but a scam? Laughable.
Indeed. I know it stinks seeing it go down but we were up over 700% - no surprise we'd correct a bit.
UK expansion
Cannabis trials
Oil and Gas testing
More hospitals
More placements
More revenue
This goes up over the next few months. No question about it.
$PCTL I don't have a ton of powder today but still adding more here. I know where this is all going over the next few months.
Buying now is bringing my average UP but it's no concern of mine where we're headed.
I believe that's an ongoing test. Depending upon when the podcast was recorded I believe Gary said "next week" so we'll see!
YES! The UK trial kicks off today for a period of 30-60 days depending on the terms. If all goes well, we'll be setting up for a nice, steady UK expansion this year!
HOW COME HE DIDN'T MENTION TAYLOR SWIFTS NEW ALBUM!!!
.... yeah, the stop sign thing is well known and a matter of public record. Who cares?
As far as dilution? If it is occurring it's not occurring to the tune of a 1/2 billion shares, lol.
I think we'd notice that.
Indeed. The calm before the storm.
Could be. I have to say the UK expansion is something of a surprise just in general.
Ask yourself why? Why does a company with a relatively small footprint garner international attention?
Remember the podcast? Gary said they (meaning folks from the UK) flew to Brooklyn, viewed the system in action, etc.
How does that happen? What gets a bunch of hospital admins or infection control folks on a plane to travel 4,000 miles?
It's not the same thing as just calling up an existing customer on the phone and saying "Hi, how's that thing workin' out for you?"
Would not be surprised if there's more to the UK story than we know. Not saying it's anything huge, I'm just saying there's more to it than they just stumbled on the website and thought it looked cool. Someone prospected them hard.
Ah yes. Things must be moving in the right direction if Falcon is here
They consider “food processing” to be a part of “agriculture” but yeah
Folks, know what you own.
Stocks go up. Stocks go down. Stocks trade sideways from time to time. It's a wild ride and anything can happen.
But PCTL has:
- Expansion into the UK with massive potential at gaining market share in a company with a nationalized healthcare system.
- Expansion into agriculture, including the growing cannabis industry
- Expansion into oil and gas with independent testing results forthcoming
- Placement into prestigious NYC hospitals with more on the way.
- Patent, Product, and Revenues
I know what I own and I know what my plan is. It may be a bumpy ride at times but I'm not swayed by a little competition or a red day here and there. I'm not looking to flip. I'm in it for the long haul.
Buy it when it dips. Hold it when it rips.
Yes, congratulations. You've discovered that more than one company is in this industry.
Strong volume today! I know we closed down a bit but that's not a surprise. Clearly a penny shows some strong support and it's a good thing to be able to buy in at this low level.
For the newbies: Welcome! Lot of great things in the pipeline:
-UK expansion is underway! Trial starts tomorrow! First machine into a country with nationalized healthcare!
-Cannabis expansion
-Oil and Gas testing underway
-More US hospitals in the pipe as well.
-Gary said on the podcast that a few more units going in this month and more this quarter.
And to say nothing of the possibility of financing as well. Is that forthcoming? A lot of strong, positive indicators to consider with regard to financing. Only time will tell!
Buying and holding! PCTL FTW
I bought more today. I'll be buying more tomorrow.
Been that way since last summer. Aint no reason to stop now with all the good stuff in the pipe.
It seems the trial in the UK is starting this week so we're still 30-60 days out.
Should be a nice close today I think after some nice accumulation and consolidation. Not worried. Happy to have picked up a few cheaper shares here.
They need to file their Q3 10Q from last year to get current. Then the stop sign will come down and Fidelity and others will allow buying.
$PCTL is absolutely in a better position now today than at any other point in their history. And I don't say that lightly since I'm usually the "let's temper expectations" guy here.
The UK expansion is potentially huge
Cannabis expansion will be big
Oil and Gas expansion will be huge
More hospitals in the US will be big as well
There was massive volume last week on Friday. And today some folks are selling it off. Can't blame 'em. And I can't blame people for taking profits either.
Yeah, OTC is strange. It's technically possible to short them and people undoubtedly do- but it's a gamble for sure.
As the other guy said- do your due diligence. Read into a stock, see what they're all about. What does the company look like? What's the roadmap to success? What's the timeline?
PCTL has a lot going for it but it's as risky as any other stock. Some of us who are all-in on it are definitely confident but that's us. You gotta do what's best for you. Personally, I'm adding more here because I feel confident we'll be much higher here soon.
But that's me!
The ignore button is a wonderful creation.
$PCTL Adding a bit here on this dip for sure.
$PCTL Don't mind a green day here. Loving the consolidation. No massive sell-off from Friday's volume either. Only going up at this point.
Can't wait for news to hit to take us higher!
Do..... do sharks prefer virgin blood?
And truth be told we can show them there's vast investor interest here by buying and holding. If they do right by us, we'll do right by them and everyone benefits in the long term.
Generally speaking companies don't release a 4th quarter report because the annual 10K report is filed instead. PCTL usually releases their 10K later in the year around April.
100% for sure. She's got a good run in here and the volume is supporting that at the moment. Even the attempts to bring it down aren't keeping it as it keeps going back up. There's a lot of interest here- and why not? So much news going on.
I tweeted at the podcast to see if they could shed some light on when the podcast was recorded.
If we take the PR at face value that installation commenced in November than we should be coming to an end of the trial- if we haven't already.
It's possible, of course, that because the trial is in a different country that things might take a little bit longer. They may want to try additional testing or maybe extend the trial period. Which would be fine as far as I'm concerned. I want everything to go perfectly with the UK installation and leave no question that the product works and is perfect for the NHS.
Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if we hear something about this over the next couple weeks.
PCTL In the podcast, Gary very specifically said there was a verbal indication (i.e. nothing official) that if the trial was successful the NHS might recommend other hospitals in the NHS use their system which could and would be HUGE.
Getting into all of them? Hell, that's possible but it'd take a while. But if the trial goes well at ONE then yes, we should all expect others to follow and even at a steady clip of a couple a month- this is an awesome year for PCTL.
Add to that the US hospitals coming on board, cannabis, oil and gas, agriculture...
2020 is gonna be a good year for us.
It's a fair point- we're not 100% sure when the podcast was recorded so when Gary says things like "last year" or "last month" we're not entirely sure what that's in reference to.
I'd have to listen to it again to double check to be honest.
I got the impression it was recorded this year but it definitely could have been Nov/Dec.
Either way- "worst" case scenario it was recorded this month and we're 30 days out from the short end of the 30-60 standard trial period.
Best case scenario it was in November which places the end of the 30-60 day trial period in December or this month.
The only clear thing is that Gary said that the trial was starting the "15th of this month."
The initial PR announcing the UK placement was released on October 22nd. That PR announced:
PCTL could be the next big thing in sterilization and disinfection.... That said, there's definitely a few people here who are a bit over-exuberant.
We don't need to sterilize the world. And I don't think they're trying to do it either.
With hospitals, agriculture, and oil and gas- they've got plenty in the pipeline to keep them busy.
The UK trial kicks off this week! That alone is a HUGE step in company growth. And like Gary said- unless their microbes are different over there (they're not), they'll see the same results.
And that's a big step.
Not to mention the new NYC hospitals coming on board, the AG trial, more oil and gas- the independent testing going on there, cannabis, etc.
Lots of real-world things to get excited about happening this month and quarter that are based in reality and ACTUALLY HAPPENING without trying to sterilize the world just yet.
No. There's a 30-60 day trial period and after that they generally want them to sign a year or two contract but this hospital asked for 5 years so that's a very positive sign.
When did we hear about the preliminary testing? I don't recall seeing anything since the initial announcement about the trial.
