Creede, like ruff (his message to you # 1057) it seems reasonable to me to believe that someone who Dexter Morris knows and trust would be more likely to receive the fullest answer possible concerning this problem.
It IS a real problem that has impacted the value of shares apparently MORE than the positive press releases. The selling of shares into EVERY good news event and buying surge might be here to stay for the intermediate future and possibly beyond.
This situation explains (nearly) everything about why
GOOD NEWS = ZERO price advance.
I understand that you've probably been careful to
cultivate a good business relationship with Dex' and that you might be sensitive to asking him certain very difficult questions.
milo
ohio12, love the comparison of the coon hunting stories
vs. the philosophy of biblical ethics discussion :)
Dexter's character should be of the utmost importance
to Labwire investors. As for me, I feel much better understanding he is a praying christian.
milo
ohio12, good question. 'Why does this stock go down on good news ?'
I think the answer to your question is that LBWR shares have continued to be sold into good news and the resulting buying that has accompanied the good news.
The source of this selling and how many shares are still available for future sales into future good news is a subject that apparently is not quite ready for 'transparent' classification :)
milo
headsup', Thank you for the info'
and your opinions. The past is water over the bridge
and pointing out differences of opinion and style with Dexter Morris is OK. That's part of what makes this forum as good as it is.
Hopefully such differences can be used by Mr. Morris as incentive to carefully consider his future options. He sounds like a man who isn't afraid to learn from the past.
milo
Creede, Thanks for the info'...tis well appreciated.
milo
Creede , I assume Cervelle wrote the press releases
and fielded any inquiries about Labwire.
What else did Cervelle do doing during their tenure as
Labwire's IR rep' ?
Can you tell us (1) what they were paid, (2) the length of their services and (3) whether they were paid in cash or shares ?
Thanks,
milo
Crow, Of course there is profit taking once the shares
start up but this type profit taking isn't what
I and others are concerned about.
Who are the 'insiders' you refer to ? Probably
not Mr Morris, John Maring, Thomas Maring or
Janet Kowalski who cumulatively own about 80% of the
authorized shares. It's my understanding that these
shares are restricted.
This issue certainly should not fragment the members
of this forum into rival camps. The information in question seems like something all Labware investors should be interested in knowing.
Crow, If the number of shares that are
in question can be determined it would
be easier to estimate when the price of
LBWR could begin a SUSTAINED movement up
and not be shot down due to private
placement shares being dumped into the
price increase/s.
If the private placement 'overhang' is
large enough then it might take months
for it to be absorbed into the general
market and months before a sustained
LBWR move.
The existing overhang may or may not be a problem.
At this point in time no one knows.
Thanks headsup007 for defining the proceedure for
determining a closer estimate of the number of
private placement shares that might still be
out.
So how much time and trouble do you think it
would be for Labwire management to access these
NOBO and DTC lists ?
ohio', The return of (private) placement shares to the market is a matter that seemed to me needing of more attention and definement.
It's exploration is not vendetta of mine but as an observer and shareholder I've never understood why it was repeatedly mentioned and never sufficiently addressed.
When a start-up company is in its infancy it must finance
itself via loans of some sort and a corporation of merrit
like Labwire has value in its shares. So its quite normal to make placements of shares for services and money and that's what Dexter has done.
And I know that private placement of shares is usually a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. The bennefits are obvious and the dangers are nearly endless.
To investigate the share placement overhang - the number of placement shares not yet returned to the trading market -
shouldn't be a witch hunt with any intent to assert blame. It should be a normal business function of inquiring (investors') minds to establish facts needed to properly estimate what's
happening to LBWR share pricing.
Creede, It is the remaining amount of these 'placement shares'
still being held by those who received them without restrictions that may - or may not - present a threat to the current and immediate future of LBWR's share price.
'headsup007' has been talking about this for several weeks.
It seems to me a perfectly logical subject worthy of persuing
since it has the potential to impact the price of our shares so dramatically.
Placement shares (as I use the term) are the
shares that have been placed or sold - usually
in huge blocks - to garner cash or/and services
for Labwire.
headsup007 ,
Thank you for monitoring the placement shares (PS).
It appears that in doing this it may have put you
slightly at odds with some on this board. (Haven't seen
many cudos thrown your way :).
In an open forum like this very fine one everything that influences our investment should be discussed and the subject of PS and their location/s is certainly one of them.
But as important as this subject is there is practically
no one other than yourself willing to persue this and find the
total absolute truth...or as much the truth as is possible.
I'm wondering why this is so.
Labwire's management seems to be forthcoming and friendly
when answering questions - even seemingly tough questions.
However, (apparently) the subject of where placement shares are
and who owns them is a subject that management isn't interested in fully discussing. (They COULD do this through a very trusted leader of this board in a manner not betraying a confidence I suppose :)
Labwire investors can guess until they're blue in the face
about what's going on within the elevated trading volume of late as well as in the future but until the placement share mystery is revealed no one can accurately know anything related to trading activity.
Excuse my double post...having computer problems.
Anyone happen to notice the 159K block
that went through @ .129. Someone REALLY
likes LBWR.
Wonder if the 35K block @12.5 (the bid) that came through at
11:39AM EasternTime and the 25K block @12.5 (the bid) at 12:35 PM went through UBSS or NITE ? Knowing might help ID the seller.
Milo
Thanks Creede. One bullish indicator
is the number of new market makers taking
positions in LBWR.
What we have is:
a company increasing its revenue and earnings rapidly,
the MM's BID price rising - which indicates their potentially
low inventory,
a super low trading float and
a recent increase in the number of market makers.
Throw in a few shorts needing to cover
and an 'official'statement of Q1 revenues and earnings.
THEN if we're lucky maybe some additional good news to accompany the report.
This is what I'd call a heck of a 'duke's mixture' for a
substantial price increase :).
Creede, relax. Get your popcorn and drink and get ready to watch the show.
It should be starting any day :)
Anyone notice there was no selling today at .11,
11.5 or even .12. The price is firming up. With a
little positive nudge LBWR can easily establish
a permanent higher base price.
Creede, when you get time to check the MM lineup
please let us know the number of market makers
still present.
Market makers come from all directions when they
smell a good party in the making.
Thought I saw a past message saying the official
Q1 revenues & earnings were to be released May 15th.
Does anyone know if that's correct ?
Milo
airdale1, I Ditto your feelings as to Creede's value
to both Labwire Corp. AND to the investors
persent and future on this board.
His exacting due diligence and honesty makes this
board a near one of a kind.
Thanks Creede.
And thanks to the others who have
contributed some very lengthy calculations,
estimates and reports.
Milo
Creede, sounds good.
Right now I have little knowledge of how
to use level 2 to advantage. I do know
a little about how MMs maneuver stocks
for their gain while "making a market"
for particular issues.
Looks to me that understanding the MM
World would be essential for the OTC &
Pink Sheet trader/investor.
Creede,thanks for the Alpha link.
Anyone know a good inexpensive level 2 service with a good MM
display - not part of a brokerage house offering ?
Count me in as a long term investor.
I've read most of the messages posted in this
forum for the last 3 months and I'm continuing
to read farther back. I want to thank
those who took the time and made the effort to
do the EXTRA due diligence that I've enjoyed
reading.
linki,
Making far off estimates about the price of BGO
shares is guesswork at best. There are too
many changing factors that can influence
the price.
A lot of smart people see gold continuing to
increase in value for quite some time and
Bema is getting closer to big time production
of one of the richest deposits of gold and
silver.
On a much smaller scale it appears BGO
stock has built a triangle formation and
that it will exit this triangle and move
up *very* soon.
linki,
I guess the fact that BGO continues to move up
in price is a good indicator that good things
are expected with both the Kupol reserve audit
as well as the production commencing in 2008.
At this time BGO is trading in the 5.70 area
which is up from 2.50 6 months ago - not too shabby.
Of course some of the share price gain is due to
the increase in gold price.
I view Bema as a good investment both short and long
term.
This old dog probably has quite a bit
still in it:) Analysts say Bema's Kupol
mine project's reserves are currently
being re evaluated. The audit might be
completed as aerly as May and they expect
it to show substantially more gold & silver
than now thought.
Key word here is SUBSTANTIALLY and if
the audid does show substantially more
it should launch BGL into another run up.
Anyone wanting some very interesting chart figures on AURC Email me at johnhw_33@msn.com
swanky...It takes time and lots of financing to
reach a point where large amounts of metals
can be extracted and processed. Its taken
Bema several years to get the $400 million
financing to build the physical infrastructure
for their Kupol mine project - which is scheduled
to go into production in 2008.
While Bema doesn't have the resurves AURC
is supposed to have they apparently closer
to actually getting large amounts produced
and sold.
I'm very interested in Aurus' scheduled
financing and estimated production schedules.
With that said, I own Bema AND Aurus shares
and am more excited about AURS :)
ASK @ .33 BID .31 :)
Does anyone have a take on why gold stocks are
correcting ? In addition to a small amount of
AURC I also have some BEMA...which took it on the
chin today.
Any thoughts appreciated.
Cusip ... sorry for the typo :)
BRIKK , wondering if Soroske can use a cuspid # to locate
AURC ... Cuspid # 05208R109.
