Good points, Mojo. Obviously doesn’t take much to push this stock up or pull it down. Yeah, that’s the range without more news. I just saw the action today as encouraging to get back to high .06s and as I said higher lows showing on the monthly. .07 would still be the wall in place without news.
The monthly is showing higher lows. The price action today makes me think a return to upper .06s without news. I think the muted response was to digest the news. The one year lock up and good rumor on who might be heading up investor group one are positives that should be good for the sp. Of course, we know what any one individual that has a million plus shares and wants out immediately will do to the stock in the very short term.
My thought though was that we may have a repeat on January on back to back good news where the first response is muted and the second takes us a leg up. So, if we get that, I think we can see .085 finally and, if the news is really good, then .10 will be resistance.
I see some super confidence in these “it’s a no brainer” on Feb call ... even though we had the slight delay. He has see more good stuff coming in the next couple months.
Good thing if true. Kenneth Le would have to be the front man of Group 1 of that were the case.
“theres a good chance that they got out of quarantine a few days ago...the worms were producing under quarantine...I doubt they are very far along yet at prodigy...”
Possibly a little longer than that ... but yes that’s about right... just far enough along though that they smell success... ie it’s working well so far ... now to scale it. :)
Penny, this is great stuff! One thing Yankee said though was that KBLB is further along in Vietnam than people here think. I am inclined to agree. I think Kim and Jon are slow walking the news there. My guess is that they are already out of quarantine so this investor group (and I agree Ken Lee probably heads it and with the most $s) is 100% sure of production (pilot is started and working) and aware of all that.
“This means the Holder cannot sell his shares (even those purchased through the warrant) in the US until a year is up, but the holder can buy shares right away.”
Absolutely beautiful!
Yes NEW and LARGE ... key words... another reason that I vote for a video tour of this facility! Time for Kim and Jon to spill the beans and be more forthcoming. If as Yankee says they are further ahead than people think, it would be nice to shed light on that ... not sure what they are afraid of intellectual property theft before they really get rolling perhaps... I don’t see any NDA keeping them under clamps for Vietnam info and progress reports.
My guess is that the $.06758 was the exact closing price for when they had him sign the papers and or sent the money . I warrants are interesting... as long as we stay at $.06 or less, they are worthless, which we interestingly close at $.06 on the nose. I’m curious why $.06? and why $.08? Why 2/3 at one and 1/3 at the other? ... just some thoughts and observations and questions
Yep. Somehow PRs (written words) are all that matter and mostly what we get. Even so, a picture is said to be a 1000 words. ... so how much is a video? We need more of them in my view. Like a tour of facilities and on videos of progress from Vietnam! That would be cool!
Here is one probably from 2017:
Yep. I agree. Thanks for your input, Rayo. Can’t wait for the day that mass production is clear and understood and reflected on the top line.
Banana, let’s not wait our breath on this. Let’s just wait for that day we know is coming.
I can’t find it. But, I did find what looks like the standard purchase agreement for Regulation S. It’s in that. ... and it makes sense really.
From the 8-K:
“The Purchase Agreement contains customary representations, warranties and agreements by the Company, customary conditions to closing, indemnification obligations of the Company, termination provisions, and other obligations and rights of the parties.”
See mojo’s post # 150247. Short answer is “No for now”. When the shares are sold, then it adds to the O/S. But, apparently, 1 Year lock up.
Was referring to this (#150258 - Jose posted) ... first anniversary date:
The Holder will not, during the period commencing on the date of issuance of the Shares and ending on the first anniversary of such date, or such shorter period as may be permitted by Regulation S or other applicable securities law (the “ Restricted Period ”), offer, sell, pledge or otherwise transfer the Warrants or Shares in the United States, or to a U.S. Person for the account or for the benefit of a U.S. Person, or otherwise in a manner that is not in compliance with Regulation S.
Wouldn’t you think the 1 Year lock up to be a telling? .... not 2 years or 3 years? These skeptics on here should start reading the ‘tea leaves’ and convert to Longs before it is really too late.
Okay. In that case... Ken Le is the most likely.
Possibly this guy if he is rich enough already.
“The birth of Hoi An silk village is also the chance to promote Quang Nam silk. It is owned by Mr. Le Thai Vu, Director of Quang Nam Silk Joint Stock Company, the person with the passion of Quang Nam silk and the interest in traditional silk weaving.”
Kenneth Le is that rich? Doubt it. Some high level Vietnamese official that knows what’s up is more likely!
Quite a muted response, today. ... It reminds me of the two PRs in early January, a couple months ago. The first response was muted but a signal to bulls basically that it was good time to buy (in low .05s). The next PR a couple days later gave us the run into the low .07s.
Sold me! I would like to have seen him allow us (I.e. existing shareholders as of xx/xx/xx date) a stake in that deal.
You two. :) It’s a gem is an analogy. It’s like a diamond in the rough. Just an expression. Yes, if you take it the analogy has to match exactly, then we will need to a bit more time and increase in share price I guess. When it becomes that gem for all to see, it won’t be so hidden as it is now.
My contention would be that it was always a gem. And, for those that bought under .03 or .04 and already claimed their profits and only have less than those profits in the stock (house’s money) they already see it as a gem that can only shine brighter still.
Yes, there are always risks in life as with investing. I can think of a few that have nothing to do with quality or quantity of the product.
Risk / reward is worth it. IMO, the best I know of now.

The U.S. Military Will Develop Futuristic, Special Ops "Body Suits" Using One of the Strangest Materials You've Ever Heard Of…
moth
It might look like a creature out of Star Wars, but this “super silk moth” could hold the key – and the magical DNA – to capturing a $140 billion market.
You’re looking at what we believe could be the next big biotech breakthrough.
Yes, it looks like an average silk moth.
It hatched out of a cocoon like any other silk moth… but it’s special in one critical way: This little guy created his cocoon with an incredible new kind of silk made from spider DNA.
Scientists are riveted by this new material because of its extraordinary properties…
it’s four times tougher than Kevlar…
74% stronger than steel…
absolutely bullet-proof…
and it has the elasticity and lightness of nylon.
The virtues of spider silk have been known for centuries. But until now, no one has been able to produce enough of it for industrial use.
The one time it was seriously tried, it took more than a million spiders and 70 people working for four years to make a single piece of fabric measuring 11 by 4 feet.
Not exactly cost-effective.
But now a lab in Michigan has found a way to produce spider silk another way… by inserting specific gene sequences from the golden orb-weaving spider into silkworms.
The silkworm then spins a recombinant fiber incorporating spider silk proteins.
Textiles woven from this new silk are lighter than Kevlar and not nearly as stiff as synthetic materials like high molecular weight polymers.
And unlike nylon they don't melt, making them perfect for body armor.
Imagine… all but bullet-proof special ops that can be dropped into Tehran… Damascus… even Pyongyang with the ability to move as they please for reconnaissance or retrieval…
special forces
Body armor equipped with this company’s “ballistic shootpack panels” bring our special ops closer to “Spider-Man Suits”… and they’re bringing this lab closer to exclusive defense partnerships.
These “miracle fibers” could also be extremely useful in medicine.
The human body doesn't reject this fiber like it does other materials. So the silk could be used as hair-thin sutures for nerve surgery and skin grafts.
The money has already started flowing…
This firm has landed a $1 million contract with the Army to produce a genetically modified “spider silk” for protective armor for soldiers.
Granted, it's a modest sum, but things at Kraig Biocraft Laboratories (OTCMKTS: KBLB) are progressing quickly…
The company recently announced its strongest silk to date… it’s had a breakthrough in its development cycle—creating in minutes the same amount of silk that used to take a full day to produce… it just delivered a prototype bundle of “ballistic shootpack panels” to Fort Riley for evaluation… and it’s ramped up production at its subsidiaries in Vietnam.
Investors have taken notice of these milestones… the stock better than doubled in the 6 months leading up to last fall, turning each $10,000 stake into $22,300.
How much upside do we project for a stock like this? We’re not putting a limit on it.
After all, we’re talking about a tiny company with just five employees that has the patent on a process that could make Kevlar obsolete… and disrupt the $140 billion technical fiber market.
It's a speculative play, for sure. And there are no guarantees.
But the stock is currently so cheap that you can pick up 5,000 shares for the cost of a nice dinner.
It’s the classic “asymmetric trade”—where the potential payoff so far outweighs the risk that it can make overnight millionaires.
Ha, ha. Maybe you started something. That’s where we can have our annual shareholder meetings after this year. You think Kim would allow Mojo in though? There might be some tension there. :) I guess if he take his dime and runs then problem solved. We’ll see.
Okay, I guess a little exaggerated. I was making a point. And, you have made yours. I’m not interested in curbing my enthusiasm. I have been in KBLB since 2011. But, I didn’t see any reason until last summer to stick my toe in and keep it there as a bag holder of a small amount knowing the potential if the company figured it out. Well, from what I can read and see from their words and actions, they have figured it out. So, now, it’s not if but when. Some will debate it’s 3-5 years from now, but I see rapid acceleration of progress toward the same on the top line starting this year. So, I will not curb my enthusiasm.
Everyone that has been in this stock a long time will finally get the bigger reward. And, good for the traders that keep making money at $.07 but they better hope they are repositioned when the big one happens or they will be chasing above $.10. That’s my take.
I see. So someone did take their latest vacation to the nice beaches in Hoi An?!? Well done.
Yes, I did. And, no. You can search yourself. I gave you enough info to probably easily find it. Since you don’t believe, that one won’t convince you either.
All the best to you, Mojo.
No PR for two months = “The sky is falling! The sky is falling!”
But, I do get it. I sat out so to speak emotionally the rough times for you guys 2014-2017 (exception being summer 2016 Army contract). But, seriously, it’s Ground Hog Day every time now. Talk about PTSD.
I know you’ll believe it when you see it. :)
Dude, that was the actual state of the province in 2/22/2018. ... I see there is no convincing you of anything.
“kblb has not yet proved themselves...”
This is our contention. I believe that they have proved themselves to the Vietnamese. I believe that is the main reason that spurred them to renew a dead industry in Quang Nam. Of course, there can be others parties wanting to join the party. And, let’s say it wasn’t completely proved out in their mind, there had to be some larger factor of KBLB’s spider silk to spur this move to the level have. You have no company to point to for their actions. Quang Nam’s official refers specifically to KBLB and no other company. Of course, they want to do this to incent more business to come in as well. You are really blind to not acknowledge KBLB’s primary role in this effort.
This was the state Quang Nam until KBLB:
“Since the silkworm rearing and silkworming can not continue, farmers move to other crops such as watermelon, pea, corn ... and other professions that are more effective.
In the process of economic restructuring, the labor force in the countryside, the young labor force has actively shifted to non-agricultural occupations with higher incomes, skilled workforce, knowledgeable With the decline of silkworm silkworm, due to old age and job change, the shortage of labor in agricultural production in general and the mulberry trade in particular.”
One other sequence I think could take us to $1B market cap. One big news item mentioned already (plus financing news as you have mentioned) followed by an up listing. The share price wouldn’t be a dollar as it would probably need to reverse split by 5 to 10x but we would technically be able to get above the $1 as it is now which would have a little over $800M cap. If the reverse split was 10x then our run would be to $10 instead of a $1.
“im asking for specific speculation...not carnival barking speculation..
exactly what is expected to occur short term that will drive the pps from .05 to a buck?...”
You already know the answer to this. It’s the announcement of a known named apparel making partner (I.e. Under Armour as an oft mentioned example). There is nothing carnival barking about it. I know you don’t expect it any time soon but it’s coming... yes, I am not expecting this year, either.
I don’t know that anything else would... unless it was a few big ones done in successive monthly announcements.
Something like:
- Vietnam news of X progress (completed trial phase with X production moving to full scale expansion)
- Army contract $XX million
- commercial contract $X million, and so on
Even, if the $ amounts weren’t very huge, the speculation of future sales ... and wait for it ... MOJO :) ... could take us to a $1.
But that’s not my thoughts about this year. I am only looking for one test of the all time highs and pull back of around 40-60%
Enjoy the journey! The road is getting smoother ... a clean runway for take off (if not an g-force ripping your face off blast to the moon... that I think is for another year... like 2020. Kind of ironic like 20/20 vision when Mojo finally sees clearly). ;)
KBLB not the reason? Whatever.
Mr. Le Trung Cuong, Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Duy Xuyen district (Quang Nam) suggested Quang Nam People's Committee to carry out the planning of mulberry and silkworm planting in the period of 2017-2022. ...
In pursuit of the province's policy on attracting enterprises to invest in rural agriculture, in the past time, there have been some enterprises interested in restoring the mulberry, silk and brocade trade as: Silk section of Quang; Kraig Biocraft Laboratories (KBL Company) with the application of silkworm planting, silkworm raising and implantation experiment in Dai Hiep commune, Dai Loc district.
Mojo, you will become aware eventually. I’m sure you will have some other excuse or say I believed it all along. Anyway, you’ll be fat, d, and happy. And, that’s what I want to see.
I would think this posted back when written in May of last year:
http://greetingvietnam.com/society/quang-nam-to-revive-silk-farming-culture.html
Question:
Why does a province revive a dead business unless they know for sure they have something better? Even better than whatever the workers are currently doing. It’s a rhetorical question. Answer: They saw it was a ‘no brainer’.
“Quang Nam Province will use 3,000 hectares to revive silk farming. A pilot programme will be carried out on 10 to 20-hectare lands within this year.” (ie 2018)
Question:
How long to scale from 10-20 hectares to 3,000 hectares? Any ideas? Assume success of pilot and full commitment to max scale. Now, what does it mean for KBLB revenue and price per share at a minimum 10x yearly sales? Someone that knows tons (2,500 tons?) and potential pricing for a premium new novel silk (ie. Spider Silk). What is the wholesale market up vs regular silk?
Had not seen this one posted:
http://baoquangnam.vn/english/society-culture/201902/ma-chau-silk-838070/index.htm
Yeah, but it will still be fun to spike the football soon. More so on the true skeptics than Mojo.
Wow. Just like it is legal for congress to do insider trading. So, it’s not slapped down, then. That’s disgraceful. Pity. ... right... buying opportunity.
When selling occurs like this in one minute, how does a single seller occastrate this to their benefit except they are selling short. Right? If someone currently owns at say under $.03 and decides to sell a lot at once, would they be able be able to put a single order in at a .045 and sell a large block and the fill would come out as a line down as the limit orders would fill at their order amounts? Or would it just give all the buyers their fill at $.045. If so, for an individual to sell and create, they would need to place multiple sell orders on the way down. ... I can’t think this anything but short selling creating an avalanche. Curious to know your thoughts, Truth.
Banana, I don’t think this is the so called large emergency seller. I have seen this happen too many times right before a great PR comes out. We know shorting can be done. And even though there isn’t much short interest. It can be shorted at anytime in large quantities and then bought back to cover after the avalanche is created. I would think the SEC should investigate this. But, I am not sure that they don’t because it is on the OTC market. Do you know?
Agreed. :)
