Very well said, lumpy
Also, relative to Chris staying on board, I have been fortunate enough to speak with him several times over the past months. From my conversations with him I highly doubt that he would have ever become involved with Kona if he did not fully intend to follow this through long term.
My opinion, Chris, Robert and the rest of the crew, while working tirelessly, are truly loving every minute of what they are doing and being able to see such amazing quick results. I have had successful businesses and believe me, regardless of how hard one is working and putting their heart and soul into a business effort like this, they are waking up feeling like every morning is a Christmas morning, Groundhog Day style. They and many of you who are also distributors, are realizing an incredible dream, as co-captains of this amazingly goliath cruise ship called Kona Gold as it continually glistens in the sun.
AND WE SHAREHOLDERS, AS PASSENGERS ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE ALONG FOR THE MAIDEN VOYAGE!
SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE KONA GOLD TEAM FOR ALLOWING US TO BE ON BOARD!
fb Alkame sh group
It will probably be "soon"
He** you may not need it for a couple of years the way they interpret "soon"
Guess I'll go back to the mushroom farm to be kept in the dark, fed more bs and grow some more
Due to a delay in the release of news, It appears that the ALKM rocket launch has been postponed indefinitely. I feel like this is a spin on the old chicken little the sky is falling. Keep getting the promises and it never happens.
Waiting for the TO DA MOON rocket tanks to be seen being fueled
Hasn't happened yet, just alluded to by Craig Kaufman on fb
I have always been known for thinking outside the box
Some of you here are also involved with Alkame. They have just said that there is something coming about that will shed a lot of light on their current situation. And, for those of you who are not aware, Alkame's main packaging facility is in Oregon. Someone just mentioned the possibility of them opening a second bottling line on the east coast.
Let me throw this one out as a tie in. What if Kona is entering into a joint venture with them relative to a bottling line on the east coast to cover for all of the business Kona has relative to its HighDrate line as well as its new Storm line. Could that make any sense to anyone??
It would be consistent with the HighDrate line continuing to be powered by Alkame technology which they have a patent on.
It would for sure have to limit any potential liability for Kona relative to Alkame.
Awwww crap, I just trimmed my nails this morning
Nothing to bite, LOL
I believe if there is anything for news, my guess is that they are selling off a portion of the business. Just hope it is not to pur fluff and associates.
Just my opinion
TO DA MOON
Via a Journey through the center of the earth, LOL
I agree that $7 - $8 million is very achievable for this year. We have not yet hit the summer slam plus 3 more products coming to market. Combine that with new distributors being added at a minimum of weekly.
THE FUTURE IS SO BRIGHT WE ARE IN NEED OF KONA GOLD SHADES!!!!
Storm release has really been delayed in my view. While Kona has had no issue releasing the new flavors of the energy drinks and it looks very much like they are starting to release the new HighDrate flavors, I can't help but think that our management is opting to go a different direction in the bottling of Storm. I am not criticizing this move as I am sure that management is just wanting to keep their ducks in a row in the ability to have adequate bottling of Storm. However something is telling me that they are going a different route on the bottling process and NOT using Alkame for this line.
Again, this is just my opinion and while I really like Alkame Water itself and believe it could enhance the ability for Storm to have a different alkaline water process, I think that Alkame's location may ultimately be a cause for concern relative to distribution shipping costs and Kona, believing how much of a demand that Storm will create nationwide, has opted to have it produced by an alkaline water company that has more bottling facility locations around the country.
Again, this is all my own conjecture and personal opinion. Hopefully very soon we will see the release and then know "the rest of the story".
Go KGKG!!!!
Ok now I have a question - Where is Storm?????
It was supposed to be released last month. Did we have to change our packaging company and take it away from Alkame? Could that be the reason for the delay??
I really want to try the Storm!!!!
I would love to see some news about the number of new distributors signed in May as well as the revenue numbers for the month!
Would also be nice to hear them say Storm is officially available as well as if it is actually powered by Alkame.
Silence is also a sign of death
I would rather have some noise here, good or bad. At least that way we know the company is still alive!
I heard a rumor that they jumped the gun on that 15000 sq ft warehouse -- They are selling so quickly that they will never be able to keep it stocked LOL
Skipjacks, while we know these distributors like Blood and Lemmi are making money - regardless of how easy they say it is to sell, it takes special people to make a distributor system work and I appreciate all of their efforts to help make us more profitable.
Special thanks to all the distributors for their efforts to help make Kona a super success!
Best of luck on that, Lemmi.
Hope it works well and thanks for your efforts to help grow this company!
While I do have more faith in ALKM with the recent events, I don't believe we will see any significant movement until the fins are current and the skull and crossbones are removed. Even then we will struggle somewhat for large movement as so many flippers are probably in this at under .001 and while I do believe with some good news we can overcome that, it will take some doing.
Best of luck to all of us holders of ALKM and don't forget that if we do overcome things it will be thanks to the work of Eakle, Kaufman and others that have continued working to turn this company around! We are in penny land and anything is possible.
I personally believe that a merger between Pura and ALKM would be a disaster for holders of ALKM stock. Pura still hasn't delivered on the NOUV spinoff that was promised last November. All they provide are false promises and never deliver.
I would really love to see them release some info this week like they did near the end of last month with the number of new distributors and what the revenue looks like for May.
I understand where you are coming from on the potential buyout, ice
But, I personally believe that Robert and Chris are having too much fun right now to even consider a buyout. Accordingly it would have to be a hostile takeover and not a lot of companies are interested in doing that as it would alienate management. Additionally, a fair amount of the growth here is due to the active participation of our own stockholders. A hostile takeover would also, in all likelihood destroy that momentum.
Just my opinion.
vaper, I believe there is a Lucky's Market in Ormond Beach. Call them and see if they carry it. If they don't yet let them know that other Lucky's Markets are and ask if they can order some cases in for you. Lucky's sells it for $1.79 a can also.
A month or so ago, I was going to Orlando for a family gathering and called a Lucky's there. They only sold individual cans in a cooler at that time but ordered 4 cases in for me. Apparently they received more requests like mine and I have heard that they are now stocking cases,. I have been holding off but plan to go again soon, once Bubble Gum and Candy Apple are available - should be this week. Plan to buy multiple cases again but will call in advance to be sure they have them in stock or have them place a special order for me again.
My opinion is that this also helps get these stores carrying the product and then increases exposure through those stores.
Best of luck!
Bang needs AB more than AB needs Bang. If some that have signed with Bang hear better movement of Kona products, it would not surprise me if some that signed with Bang may reconsider and tell Bang to either remove the exclusive or AB will cancel their representation completely.
Just my opinion.
Thanks for that, PRP
I am still a little reluctant on some things as I don't want to be taken the wrong way. I am feeling good about the prospects for the upcoming weeks though!
Craig Kaufman just posted a new response on the fb board kinda hinting that more might be following shortly so I am thinking that we should stay tuned. This could prove to be an interesting week for us and I am looking forward to it!
National advertising would be very wasteful at this point. We have far too many large parts of the US that have no distribution at all. As of last month we were only in 24 states and not having full coverage of many of those states.
We will get there and probably more quickly than many might expect, but right now we are still taking baby steps. Try to relate us to a small child trying to keep up with the adults. Our steps are much shorter as our legs are not long enough.
When it comes to the AB Distributors and Bang, if the ones that we do have are doing as well as I suspect, these AB Distributors will start comparing sales and growth of the two and it would not surprise me if some of those that are tied into Bang might start looking at and working at renegotiating those contracts. Keep in mind that AB Distributors are more powerful than Bang and if they were to go to Bang and say we want to add Kona and it is either you, Bang, are willing to share the spotlight or we will drop you to carry the more reasonable Kona, Bang would be foolish to try to play hardball. They would lose.
While it is nice to have the large established distributors, I also believe that Kona is making a wise decision to have multiple small startups. Many of these guys are firm believers in the company and very aggressive with Kona as their only product. In this respect, we can provide smaller territories that will show some super growth. Prime example is our Chicago Distributor.
In the vein of advertising and these smaller distributors, I believe that some regional advertising cost sharing might be in line. Two avenues that come to mind are electronic billboards which offer some very inexpensive packages and we are also seeing some cable companies that are able to actually target advertising to certain communities with many of the smaller dedicated channels. College football season is fast approaching and many of these smaller colleges have local tv coverage of their games and the college crowd is a great potential market for us. Get a distributor saturating a market area and then advertise during a local college game specifying some of the locations where it is sold. When they see the ad for the drink, we want them to know where they can buy it. Also consider shared advertising with the stores themselves. Beneficial for both and spreads the advertising cost.
Just my thoughts and I know before long we will be like a bunch of college athletes able to run all over the place and full of KONA energy!
Here ya go, superdodgeball
News recently showed a company building a pontoon boat that expands to 2x its size. That way it can be trailered then expanded in the water.

Who cares about a west coast opinion. An earthquake will drop it into the ocean soon then Nevada will be the new west coast and we know it has a great start there.
I am hoping for a surprise of another couple of q's being filed during the week and if that happens, I would expect to see us back into the .001 to .0012 range during the week. Just my opinion.
Any other thoughts.
Would love to see one or two of the 2017 quarterlies be filed Tuesday morning then an open of at least 9 and start moving back up from there. Even if we could settle into .001 to the .0012 range for next week it would be such a relief.
Agreed, treedoc
As people start reading through the 2016 10K they need to keep in mind that this is history and nothing to really do with what has been going on since 2018, like the 1st blueberry run. Also hoping that the record keeping for 2017 and later is better and makes the subsequent reports easier to compile.
No, Tuesday Theo.
Sadly we have to wait until then since Monday is a Holiday and the market is closed.
BUT AT LEAST THIS IS A MOVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!!!!!!
HOLY CRAP 10K JUST FILED!!!!!!!
I wonder if Kona will leak any sales info and new distributor info next week with May projections like they did towards the end of April.
I am looking for May revenue to be $260k to $290k considering potential continuation of distributor additions and Summer growth as expected. That will already break their projection of $400k for quarter 2.
Any others with thoughts on this?
I would imagine that Savannah Dist. would be along the lines of the AB Distributors that are on board. Would love to know how they are doing at this point.
I'm soooo excited about this week!
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
OMG, a trade just went through for 100 shares at .0007
talk about trying to paint it down!
Then 6 of the next 8 trades for .0008 at 999,999 each
Hopefully on all those pallets they are not getting paid with empty promises -- "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today" LOL
By the way, PRP can you reveal your source on that info?
Thanks
I am with you there, soup and believe we are far from being alone in that regard.
