This seems like more house cleaning before the expected run... Those guys deserve those grants, I have no issue with them...
I'm looking forward to the announcement of the two new trials!
The wind is blowing and the announcement of the two new trials is probably coming very soon...
BTW, great job vivisecting the micron thin case for Anavex (AVXL) that continues to be made on this message board... Incredibly, that company has a market cap of close to $2 billion with almost no substance behind it... It really shows the power of promotion and spin!
urge2surge, where have you been??
Good things happening!!!
Great job Runncoach, very clear and compelling! I appreciate how you get to the point and avoid obfuscation...
Ha ha, they don't actually take much in cash pay, compare theirs to others...
I'm not arguing with your point, it's one guy, Josh Silverman, and it's annoying, but, I try not to let this annoyance cloud the fact that there are still not many fully diluted shares and this stock has massive upside... I see this as more of a short term temporal annoyance...
Thanks Cyosol!!
That is outstanding work by that person! Excellent simplified layman's version of events and making of the case!
I enjoy your style, glad you joined the SNPX party!
I believe that they were taking care of many of the investors that have been in this from early on. That said, I'm not a fan of how they have handled their capital structure over the past couple years...
BUT, still have incredible science and not that many overall shares...
Did you buy this morning?
I don't think Alan Tuchman (current CEO) is the issue, I think it is on Josh Silverman (Chairman)...
Remember that investor call that might have been in January where we heard, I think Tuchman, say that they had enough money with current cash and grants, and there was no need for dilutive financing?? Interestingly, when they released the transcript of that call, this comment was not included. I'm guessing that Josh Silverman was already in talks with Michael Silverman (no relation) and probably had to do some quick clean up with that...
I think we both agree, the doctors (especially Alkon) and science are great, Silverman, not so much...
Yeah, we've definitely done this pattern a few times...
I have to believe they are done with private placements, at least for a couple years. If so, we shouldn't see crazy events like a circuit breaker stopping the stock from a big run, only to see the stock ultimately close down for the day... That was a crazy day, kind of reminded me of the recent presidential election evening...
The latest private placement caused this, and no question the price suppression/manipulation is annoying, BUT, assuming we're all done with this nonsense, there will be increasing wind behind the sails from here on out....
Nothing that has happened in the past two weeks even remotely impacts my expectation that this stock price will hit $20 before the end of this year...
I don't know about "blow up" before the read out, but IMHO we could easily see a "correction" to comparative company valuations with some more positive news such as additional trials and the favorable publicity associated...
A few years ago, (2nd trial back), the stock went up to $27, I believe? And we are currently 1 per 20 shares of that NTRP stock...
I believe there is an excellent chance that this stock will hit $20 before the end of this year...
Completely agree!!
I think the answer is probably both... There is definitely some accumulating going on, and given the volatility, there should naturally be some trading...
I'd love to know what the real short interest is as of today??
Aside from my enthusiasm regarding the prospective success of Bryostatin, I view the trading activity since the Nasdaq listing to be particularly bullish, and IHMO, we have a fun and adventurous ride over the next year plus...
In spite of the trading volume, the market for this stock is still highly inefficient. Much higher volume drives the price up and then it slips down on low volume. These dips are good buying opportunities...
IMHO, the pricing floor has moved up to $9-10 and we should continue to see incremental forward adjustments to this... It's a great stock to trade right now, BUT, I don't want to chase a few thousand dollars of booked profit to be without a chair when the music stops...
Amen, RC, completely agreed, we're trading close to cash with a very exciting CNS drug, soon to be in multiple trials... More and more eyes are coming onto this stock and there is a massive potential ceiling...
Agreed, it was BS to turn off the trading at that point...
This is the most confident and forceful presentation of the case that I've ever seen Alkon make...
High volume drives it up and it slips down on relatively low volume... It's interesting how recently this stock could go hours with no trading volume and now look at it...
I most respectfully disagree.
There just aren't that many outstanding shares. The exercise of warrants will bring more cash into the company which is good. Regardless of whether these shares are sold and I don't expect a majority of those to be sold before the read out, the demand can so easily outstrip supply and drive this price way up.
The compares to other companies suggest this is deeply undervalued relative to potential and it might just be a matter of time before more eyes see this and the demand explodes...
You could be right! It's not crazy!
Completely agree!
I think there is a growing wind behind the sails of this company right now...
I was fortunate enough to pick up another 5,000 shares at $7.50, minutes before it bounced up and didn't come back down.
IMHO, the absolute bottom right now is $6.50, and I don't see this happening. It could fall to between $7.00 and $7.50, as it did earlier today, but whether it does again or not, it won't be there long and will stabilize and will only go up from here...
I think more eyes are seeing this now and the superior risk/reward proposition can't be denied...
While I don't love the way the capital structure of this company has been managed over the past two years, I'm as bullish as can be on the science potential and favorable wagering expectations based upon the current low valuation of the company...
Excellent!!!
Although, I can't help but think, weren't we just on Nasdaq, and with a lot of cash in the bank?.... Just kidding...kind of...
Twice today I had an unfilled order at $7.40 and the price posted at $7.35.
Early this morning with no shares trading, I put a 1,000 share buy limit at $7.40, the bid-ask immediately jumped me and nothing happened for a few hours. That order ultimately filled, and at 3:40pm I put the same order in again. I got 300 shares of that and somehow the stock closed at $7.35, lol...
Funny, late massive paint down distorts reality of today's trading...
Huge volume for this stock (pre-split 500K shares), nearly all traded in the $7.60-8.20 range and the stock closed down $.05 at $7.20 on a tiny late trade...
After your initial post on this, I came very close to buying shares and placing the bet that the run would continue and I could flip out for a quick profit... I didn't do it of course, and I'm not going to now...
It's amazing how strong these market reactions can be with so little meaningful data in contrast to what our company has done... It feels like we are in a hidden world...
I was just thinking the same thing!
I expect the 12 months warrants to all be exercised. It will take very little to get the price there and as we get closer to the results, I believe the price will elevate. For whatever reason, we continue to be ridiculously under valued relative to risk/reward proposition and potential...
I bought more today as well... As you said, we did expect some sell off as a result of the January financing, I just expected it in March, but here we are...
Any word on the Sachs Forum presentation?
Got it, thanks!! That explains some of the selling this morning...
I'm surprised that we never saw any selling from the newly registered shares that had 200% warrant coverage... I would have thought that some might have been tempted to take a profit and play with the warrants...
Thanks RC for the heads-up, as always!!
Yeah, exactly! It's hard to imagine that there won't be some that would look to sell to cover their investment and then free ride on the warrants...
Nice job on the $1.57!!
I'm also way light on the amount of this stock that I want to hold, I've been trading and sold out of a lot of my holding between $2-3. I know the stock is a great price right now, but I can't help but expect that the price will pull back when the newly created shares with 200% warrant coverage are available to be sold... I'm expecting to see some level of sell-side volume that we haven't seen yet... Of course, it may never come...
It's strange how strong the forward move is off so little volume.
I had some good timing as I was most of the volume through the first few hours of trading, 10,000 bought at $1.85 and 10,000 bought at $1.80, I've actually had a bid in for 10,000 at $1.70 and then the price reversed on low volume...
A couple GUESSES regarding the near-term stock price.
1) There will soon be 10 million newly created shares transferred to individuals' accounts and these shares have 200% warrant coverage, so I'm GUESSING that there will be some sell-side pressure driving the price down to perhaps just below the $1.50 that these shares and warrants cost...
2) The price will linger below $1.50 for a short period of time (i.e. two weeks) and then begin to advance forward (over several weeks), surpassing the one year warrant strike price. These warrants will get exercised before expiration and in the meantime, there will continue to be positive developments for SNPX that will create forward momentum and bring new eyes onto the stock...
This assumes no big positive news before the new shares are tradable.
Looks great, thanks Cyosol!
I particularly like the Market Comparison, great perspective! This is probably the best "marketing" piece that I've seen from the company!
Good points! I'm also thinking that with 10 million new shares @ $1.50 and 200% warrant coverage, that we'll see some selling of these shares once they are tradable...
