I love this board! So much terrific insight from various perspectives! Thanks to you all! (actually minus one)
I was wondering the same thing!!!! Seems crazy that it is not higher on that volume! I was imaging a day where SNPX might see volume like that and I'd expect a much higher price movement...
I just looked, wow, crazy volume today on Petros!
I did sell most of mine as NTRP, just after ex-DIV date, and before the market makers realized that there should have been a price adjustment (I think that was one trading day), so I got right around $5.00 equivalent (I think the shares were around $1.00 back then)...
I believe the NTRP cash contribution was essentially $4.00 per share, so to me that is the baseline... It's been a horrible strategic move for NTRP until now, maybe this thing has life now??
Thanks for the heads up RC, I kept 1,000 shares just to follow it...
runncoach, great insight as always! I do think it is possible for a quicker approval, given the extensive safety data profile of Bryostatin, and the FDA seems more inclined to consider quicker approvals of important drugs these days... Hopeful, but seems possible to me...
Agreed, nice to see. Breaking the pattern a little here, and rather than continue to descend on low volume or even stay down to a new floor of $9-10 on low volume, we seem to be drifting upward toward that $12-14 range where so much heavy volume traded recently...
Fascinating that in nearly 4 hours of trading today, we've had less than 25,000 shares traded. This month had two days of over 2 million shares traded each day.
It goes to show how inefficient this stock's trading is and how naked big moves are... I'd hate to be short this stock right now!
Excellent! It feels like something is coming...
I completely agree with you and am guessing that our new range is $9 to $15, BUT, with such a highly inefficient trading stock, anything is possible in the short run, in terms of a greater low volume downward drift...
I don't even view the current price as "real", rather more of a manipulated mirage designed to draw out more sellers... I just don't think there are that many of them anymore and I think the ones that did sell, likely aren't bearish, but rather had the warrant coverage and chose the risk mitigation of taking initial investment and profits off the table, while retaining the upside through the warrants...
10/15 Short Interest at 981,940 shares!!
We know there has been some coordinated accumulation taking place, the question in my mind is who is selling as this is a thinly held company with a low float. The most logical answer, to me, is that some of the privately placed new stock with warrant coverage was probably sold and that has been a governor on our ability to run.
That is a lot of short shares that need to be covered and at a certain point, hopefully soon, I'm not sure there will be many sellers at these price levels, all IMHO...
This is the pattern, goes up on very high volume and then drifts down on comparatively very low volume. The question is where will the bottom go to this time?? I think it was runncoach that pointed out that over 5 million shares traded above $12 in the recent run. It makes no sense to sell at current levels with the peer reviewed article coming out any day now…. We just have to be patient through the silliness of these swings…
I've always been more of a math and science guy versus an aesthete... That said, I can't possibly agree more on the spectacular risk/reward proposition that SNPX offers...
It is crazy!! I suspected this was going to happen and today's pattern is very similar to yesterday's... There is definitely some skilled and methodical accumulation occurring...
Maybe if I sell some shares, the pattern will break and it will only go up from that point... :)
...Patience...all about timing... :)
RC, you never disappoint with your knowledgable, thoughtful and well articulated responses, thank you!
runncoach, in the history of Alzheimers drug trials, has there ever been, even a single example, of more impressive statistically credible results than those that will be coming out in the upcoming peer reviewed article...
Interesting trading activity...
I've got a big position and I'm so tempted to trade some of it into these patterns but I hate to risk the big hit chasing a relatively nominal trading gain... They say patience is a virtue for a reason...
I'm with RC, I didn't expect this spike from the article, which didn't provide anything that all of us on here didn't already know...
The soon to be coming peer reviewed article could be powerful!
I've predicted a couple times this year on this board that SNPX will hit $20 before the end of THIS YEAR. I've never wavered on that...
IMHO, this company is deeply undervalued, if for nothing more than a risk/reward speculative play. I don't believe there is better science in the CNS treatment space and our upside is through the roof... If this trial is successful, it's not ridiculous to think this will be a $10 billion+ plus company. Projecting this trial out based upon history and trial design, we're not talking about a lottery hit probability, rather, I think a positive outcome is actually probable...
Good luck to all of us, I believe we are in for a fun ride!
Thanks runncoach! I joined late and missed some of that...
This has been a common pattern with this stock, high volume (relatively) moves up and then comparatively low volume moves down, especially right before close with an absurd paint down, like yesterday...
Indeed!
Excellent, thanks Urge!
Claims with no credible supporting evidence...
I could post on a message board that "Bryostatin cures every illness ever known to mankind!"...
Anavex, like many other SCAMS, is about OBFUSCATION!
It really is beyond absurd! We exist in a dark pocket of inefficiency...
Another comment on the Book Value, we're really talking about tangible book value which is to say Cash. But, clearly the patent and license portfolio is not worth Zero, and not that it matters, there are literally hundreds of millions of dollars of research over the years that have led to those patents and licenses...
This is the best risk/reward proposition that I've ever assessed. Obviously, all IMHO...
I'm way overweight in shares... I can't buy anymore, LOL...
It is absurd!!
The volume on the recent run-up was much higher than the volume on the selling relating to any news (even very positive news)...
We just have to be patient, this thing can easily gap up on the right news...
Anavex (AVXL) is a SCAM!!!
REMINDER: This is a Synaptogenix Board, if you want post about other companies, please do so on their boards, that's why they have their own boards.
This has always been a highly inefficient trading stock, even when the volume spiked, I believe it was driven by a relatively few number of buyers/sellers with some coordination (much higher volume on the rising movements versus falling movements)...
To me, it seems like we're being held to this price level right now, and historical patterns suggest that we'll be released to run a little, back up over $12, and from there either another pull back or a release on up to $20, which I still believe we'll see by the end of the year...
I'm not very well versed on technical trading, rather I am in this because of what I confidently believe to be an extraordinary risk/reward proposition based upon fundamental analysis...
I think we continue to exist below radar, when that breaks, look out, all IMHO... A partnership would be a strong catalyst...
It seems coordinated to me, high volume comes in bursts and then periods of much lower volume. I'm guessing that there are a relatively low number of unique buyers and sellers...
We need more eyes on this company and their science... It's reasonable to think if investors like the other companies in this space, they should like this one...
Anavex screams scam to me, and yet, people are buying their stock...
Excellent as always runncoach!
To repeat from the AAIC poster: “In a pooled trend analysis of Studies #202, 203, Bryostatin caused highly significant benefit
(p<.001) and Placebo was NS.” I think this is HUGE!
They are buttoned up on synthetic Bryostatin as well as the Oral formulation.
Alkon seems bullish that a P3 might not be necessary but if one is, they referenced that it would likely include a partner and I'm guessing that preliminary discussions have taken place?
Alkon seems more forceful in making the case than historically, and I love it! I'm guessing that he has seen the market reactions to what other companies have been doing and is flabbergasted in disbelief, seeing Bryostatin as having achieved superior results to others...
IMHO, setting aside unusual trading of the stock today, today was an excellent day for Synaptogenix! Game on!!!
I'm with you!!!
Today's trading is BS, IMHO! Whether it is the market makers or whomever, the tools (shorting and probably naked shorting) are being used to suppress forward momentum...
Regardless of the high volume, this is a very inefficient trading stock. Thin float with core group of solid longs, with fascinating science and near limitless upside, we could see an EPIC SHORT SQUEEZE...
Keep the eyes on the prize!!!
BTW, I just put Limit (Good 'til Cancelled) Sell orders in at $50 on all of my shares. I don't know if that actually keeps the shares from being loaned to shorts, but I'm happy to try and do my part...
I'd love to know what the "real" short interest is???
The live Q&A could be the most interesting part of this. Allows for pointed questions that would allow for the revealing of facts that should be positively received...
