American Lithium: An Undervalued Gem In The Lithium Mining Industry
(Nice Read through...)
https://seekingalpha.com/article/4569275-american-lithium-an-undervalued-gem-in-the-lithium-mining-industry
Nice follow up PM! It does appear the exact Critical Minerals the Elk Creek Mine will produce are a priority for the committee of the bipartisan Defense Critical
Supply Chain Task Force, DoD, The U.S. Govt. & our Allies!
They want to focus the Public & Private Sectors on establishing Mining, Separation & Processing facilities for Niobium, Scandium, Titanium & REE's!
Niocorps Elk Creek mine will encompass Mine to Processing on site. Once they prove Final Hydro-Met & New Process through ongoing Demonstration Plant operations. (Which most certainly are keying in on Proving the REE Separation & Oxide production as well!)
Our Team is well versed in SX REE Separation. Just waiting for that elusive "Material News as It Becomes Available!"
NIOCORP IS A NIOBIUM MINE FIRST & THE LARGEST NIOBIUM DEPOSIT IN THE U.S. ~ALONG WITH TITANIUM, SCANDIUM & VIABLE REE'S ROUND OUT NIOCORPS "CRITICAL MINERAL SUITE". ~
(I would think ENTITIES are interested! (You can imagine the same ones I can!) ~Pending a Finance of course! ~(Hmmm...Why is that last remaining 25% of Niobium Production still not under a contract?)Front row seats with many! Spring 2023....
Go Team Niocorp!
Chico
Me too stark! I looked but so far drawing nada… “I wonder if Jim gave a presentation? LoL”
Richard- Given Niocorp will mine, process & produce (Oxides) on site for the Niobium, Scandium & Titanium the DoD is specifically mentioning. (Plus maybe some REES as a byproduct)…
“IF” they cannot build & finance the ElK Creek Project now via both Private & Government sources coming together? “I don’t know how or what will-get it done?!)
Imho team Niocorp!
Engage!
Chico
Reverse Split MB! I think they are taking a break on that "Sprint to production" lately!

I agree! 3 Separate projects for the price of one! Each project potentially could all be built, spun out , or sold… yep long term hold.
Imho this is going higher & nice “Hereford!”
All speculation & guesses PM! Interesting “dots”! One of these days a few should start connecting.
(Our Team- that some on this board like to diss…) Are a very experienced team!
They have just about de-risked this project as much as humanly possible. Proving viable REE’s (utilizing everything the mine can produce) & adding up the final economics into a 2023F.S. Along with GXii approval for equity…
Note: our team has also been down the DoE/LPO road before…
I don’t think “assume” lol So ii would say “possibility imho”

Repost: NIOCORP - DoE/LPO "DOTS" UPDATE ~26 New Applications in Dec. 2022~
(**Given the Fact Ioneer recently achieved a $700 Million DoE/LPO loan (pending). One can look at the facts posted below & make up their own minds. Niocorp has indeed stated that Private funding was always their primary focus. However all options (A,B,C,D were also said to be on the table!)

Niocorp is sitting in the "sweet spot" at approx. 12 years +/- ! Like you state Jeunke. The Swedish Deposit has to accomplish just about everything our team at Niocorp has done to date. (Not to mention finding a method to SEPARATE the REE's! Because each deposit is different.)
Both MP Materials & the Elk Creek Deposits are Carbonatites with monazite/basentite predominantly hosted in the ore bodies. (Both have been found to be among the easiest to Separate.) I'm not sure what the deposit in Sweden hosts, but it is very important. It could take them 5-6 years to get to a Demonstration Scale Separation. Let alone all the permits, enviromental work... etc...

PM - I’ve been watching it in bits and pieces. Overall one of the best videos on critical minerals I’ve seen done in 2022.
That USRE site has a great deal posted there on critical minerals as well. I will be revisiting the site to scope out a few other selections “as time allows”
Could that be the US Rare Earths thing? Jim, Mark & co are affiliated with? Lol …
Chico
There is a reason the team is going through the "FINAL" Demonstration Plant Hydro Metallurgy & New simplified Process Improvements & HPGR ground ore- Papa! (This was described that it was required in the 2019 F.S.! Utilizing everything a mine can produce is paramount. Even Rio Tinto & & majors are going back to add "BYPRODUCTS"! Niocorp is doing the same..."Interesting!" )
Jim also talked about WHY THE TEAM waited to add the REE's (at this stage I think! instead of earlier.... ) (yeesh I need to watch it again! lol)
I can't wait for our COO Scott Honan to give us a 2023 update Presentation once the Demo stuff is officially announced. (I do think the team will have a lot to shout about very soon!)
Chico
Papa- I've got to go back & listen to this again! In fact, the entire video appears to be an excellent source on what is going on. One of the items Jim specifically talked about is the ROLE TITANIUM & NIOBIUM are going to play in the FUTURE of Lithium Batteries. (I've got to go back & revisit the video again!)
The continued public information "links" or "DOTZ" to DOE (LPO loan guarantee for "Debt", Critical Minerals & Carbon Capture synergies), DOD, Federal Labs such as AMES & more exists. Couple that with all the recent legislation (Critical Mineral Tax incentives & Infrastructure Bill etc..), **NDAA 2023 passing essentially funding all & "JIMS very recent commentary"... When Jim states specifically
Jeunke I agree! Jim’s explains a great deal indeed. REE’s being added etc..
The DoE even received a July presentation. “Interesting dots”!
Worth a watch! I’ll post it on Reddit later today.

Nice Volume yesterday. Day traders played & now we can get back to business of 3-4$ share & more!
American Lithium has THREE major projects. In Peru the Mancusani -uranium project, Falchani hard rock Lithium project, & the TLC clay lithium project in the U.S.! I would easily value each at close to 1B$ market cap. Room to grow upside from here.
As the warrants are in the money. American Lithium will have even more cash to move forward from here. Great move by management.
Upcoming PEA's, Mancusani Spin-Off/buy out, & Demo Plants to prove out should be coming in 2023. I can see full production on all by 2025 or sooner!
Just my opinions above. Form your own!

AES3- Commerce (Blue River), James Bay & Aley are good Niobium projects in tough locations! That doesn't mean they won't get completed just tougher road to hoe. (Permits, Enviromental, F.S. etc... might be years off. Are they still constructing haul roads? or do they have all weather roads in Place?
AES3-
(I wanted to get an idea of the potential for the Elk Creek Mine compared to other World-Class Projects!)
Please see the following commentary in response by Jim Sims:
Niobium on the move ~ Echion and CBMM to build manufacturing facility for anode-grade niobium oxides in Brazil ~
https://chargedevs.com/newswire/echion-and-cbmm-to-build-manufacturing-facility-for-anode-grade-niobium-oxides-in-brazil/
Battery material provider Echion Technologies and niobium supplier CBMM have formed a partnership to build a new facility in Araxá, Brazil to supply anode-grade niobium oxides to be used in Echion´s XNO battery anode material.
The facility, which is due to open in early 2024, will have the capacity to supply 2,000 tonnes of material per year—the equivalent of 1 GWh of battery cell production.
I agree Nelson. I would think the value would return to previous highs settling around the 3-4$.
The team here has told shareholders they intend to spin out Mancusani ( uranium) into its own entity. Then they can focus on the lithium projects.
The values of each TLC, Falchani & Mancusani have yet to be fully realized imho.
PEA’s & F.S.’s will be needed but they are on track to deliver. Any one of these projects could be sold off in the future or be brought to production and future share price/s? Might go higher..T.B.D.

(Note:) L3 has ties to the DoE & is collaborating with West Virgina Univ. on acid mine drainage Separation for REE's. That tells me they are in the loop on several REE fronts.
Grunt- Those numbers are still looking very good!! Scot Honan did state that Niocorp intends to produce over 750 TONS of REE OXIDES (Not a MIX or Concentrate!) Niocorp could potentially add between $100M-$200 million in additional revenues via viable REE's. I also would speculate that the team/s might be able to hit 1,000 Tons per year production. We shall soon see.

HUGE: American Lithium confirms 99.4% purity lithium carbonate precipitation after 97.7% lithium leach extraction and overall, Li recovery of 88.1% at TLC - Maiden PEA to be announced shortly
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/american-lithium-confirms-99-4-120000208.html
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 09, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Lithium Corp. (“American Lithium” or the “Company”) (TSX-V:LI | OTCQB:LIACF | Frankfurt:5LA1) is pleased to announce results of confirmatory lithium leaching and lithium carbonate precipitation test work from Tonopah Lithium Claims (“TLC”) mineralization. The test work was completed at McClelland Laboratories in Reno, Nevada with lithium carbonate products analyzed at SGS Lakefield in Lakefield, Ontario. Similar expanded studies also continue at ANSTO in Australia. This test work supports the maiden Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) for the TLC project, which is in final phase of completion and expected to be released shortly.
Highlights: (see Table 1 – TLC Lithium Carbonate Chemical Analysis and Calculated Purity and Figure 1 – Photograph of TLC Lithium Carbonate product, below)
Sulfuric acid leaching TLC claystone mineralization achieved 97.7% lithium extraction with short 2-hour leach time; HUGE NEWS!!!
Overall lithium recovery of at least 88.1% from leach through primary lithium carbonate precipitation including lithium losses of only 4.7% during leachate neutralization, 4.9% during impurity removal and crystallization/washing steps;
Calculated Lithium Carbonate (“LC”) purity of 99.4% based on ICP-MS/ICP-OES chemical analyses of TLC primary lithium carbonate product at SGS Lakefield analytical laboratories prior to any additional refining steps;
LC product requires an additional process step in the flow-sheet to remove remaining impurities (Potassium – K; Calcium - Ca) and produce battery-grade LC or Lithium Hydroxide;
PEA will reflect work done to date, but process optimization work will continue
Simon Clarke, CEO of American Lithium states, “We are very pleased with the latest TLC lithium carbonate precipitation results and on-going optimization leach test work which has achieved very high lithium extraction, high overall lithium recoveries and extremely good lithium purity. This work forms key inputs into the maiden PEA for the TLC project, scheduled for release this month, and enables the completion of flow sheets to produce battery grade lithium carbonate and / or hydroxide. This marks yet another successful milestone for the project and team and capped off a year that saw significant positive achievements and results.”
STORY CONTINUES PLEASE READ & SEE CHARTS!

US, allies should disconnect rare earths supply chain from China — report
https://www.mining.com/us-allies-should-disconnect-rare-earths-supply-chain-from-china-report/
A recent report from Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy suggests that policymakers in the United States and allied countries should start bolstering raw materials supply chains to reduce the country’s dependence on rare earths from China.
The dossier notes that the China Rare Earth Group, a merger of three of China’s state-owned enterprises into one mega-conglomerate, controls up to a quarter of global mineral-bearing rare-earth elements. Combined with China’s overall dominance in rare-earth minerals and materials—roughly 60% of world production—the merger grants Chinese central planners significant pricing power and influence over world supply.
“Whether China would weaponize their leverage over rare-earth supply chains in direct conflicts with the US and/or its allies is a matter of speculation and debate,” the report reads. “However, one thing is for sure: In such an event, the US must minimize China’s ability to limit sanctions and other collective global responses against potential coercive action.”
US, allies should disconnect rare earths supply chain from China - report
According to the authors, the covid-19 pandemic and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine have highlighted fragilities in global commodity supply chains and trade flows—as well as tensions among competing world powers.
“They serve as sobering reminders that relying on dominant suppliers and revisionist actors for vital commodities can create significant pitfalls,” the researchers point out. “In particular, rising trade and geopolitical security tensions with China could threaten REE supply, potentially influencing up to $1 trillion of goods.”
They argue that despite how important it is to strive for a domestic or less risky supply chain, convincing American voters to support more assertive raw materials policies will be a challenge for government and industry decision-makers.
“It is not certain that voters will accept the burden of ‘de-risking’ a broad swath of raw materials and technology-oriented industrial policies,” the authors write. “Defense planners, in particular, must be ready to deal with those outcomes.”
