A company a friend of mine follows sent a letter to shareholders, OCS received 38,000 orders today.
Wondering when OCS will officially publish numbers.

Don’t know if anyone here knows the Queen West area but as I walked over Bellwood’s Park was pretty happening. Music tent and hordes of potheads celebrating (despite the rain)!
So the Tokyo Smoke Location isn’t selling any cannabis yet but the place was still busy - about 90% capacity @ 3:30. Sorry for the lousy photos I wasn’t allowed to snap them off apparently :-/
The coffee is great, the place is gorgeous and the product offering is very different than head shops. I grabbed a card grinder and a joint protector tube. Pricey but elegant stuff.
I think they’re well setup for luxury.

I just dropped into the Toronto Queen location to see how it’s doing. Will post photos gorgeous store. Bought a few goodies for my weed utility pack hahaha
lololol
Someone was talking about ditching their alcohol bar in exchange for a cannabis cabinet. I snapped a photo of mine hahaha:

Yes I like my blunts. Haha.
Lol I did the same. Hmphhhh
Light it up! Pass the spliff :-p
Happy end of prohibition everyone!
Proud that our country has come this far and defeated the negativity surrounding this incredible plant.
I wish you all great fortune and health from this miracle.
Pounds? It’s kind of lame.
Looks too much like IBS. Heh
That’s pretty much what I did. Sold a bunch at 74 and spread it to a few other cheap shares.
He needs to learn from more people on this board :-p
Really good video. I love constellations CEO logic and narrative for picking Canopy as it’s partner
Haha.
I’ve been poking around canopy’s network architecture and finding new domains they own. HiSociety is running on a larger LMS package: https://www.canopygrowthlearning.com/
Looks like the company has heavily invested into learning systems. This is so awesome to actually see
Hi.Society, this is too rich. I love it

Hope so. We have some ground to cover hehe
I don’t think we’re Kansas anymore. The hype for LDay and possible announcements and institutions driving up the price today....I would t count on anyone’s best guess. Just put on some popcorn and enjoy the ride
What an exciting day. An ATH tapped and another $15k in my pocket from realized gains.
*jumps for joy*
Now the real question is, what's the ceiling on this rocket? :D
Anyone hear about the UP/L Cannabis concert at Dundas Square in Toronto? A friend sent photos of it. They’re trying to up the game on the consumer visibility front.
The Up logo was dead centre stage. Heh
Not judging at all! Good for them. Bruce definitely deserves it.
Yah I’m not concerned. Just thought I’d share for anyone interested

Crap accidentally posted this in RIV meant for the CGC board. Feel free to delete the duplicate (mods).

"I don't see empty shelves manifesting on the first day probably, and not the first month," she said. "But as the year progresses, what we'll see is either prices in the legal market will have to rise, or we'll actually see the supply shortage."
Wow what a clobbering today. Portfolio is in bleed mode haha.
Absolutely. It’s in the past/irrelevant at this point. This negative detail is holding back SP potential so close to legal. Very frustrating.
I don’t think it’s specific to agriculture? I assume it’s just general business liability/E&O insurance? *shrugs*
Neat. What a nice guy
How do you know those were lost crops? Sounds like you have misguided info?
HHaha sounds like something I would do. I’m in Florida, come pick me up on your way over to Paris :p
Avoid alcohol based mouthwashes btw. I cut out using Colgate and similar mouth wash products and it dramatically changed things for me in this regard. Non alcohol products are just as good if not better.
Hot tip though doesn’t solve your problem :-p
Meh this is embarrassing but recoverable. Rapidly growing enormous startup takes time to evolve its process. I’ve see Aurora and the other guys make way worse mistakes.
Pre market looks pretty rough. It’s going to be a tough day
When I first invested a calculated the value of the market then and estimated an insane 25% market share. After estimating revenue I valued the company at $50/share maximum. Never expected it to happen SO fast or for the possibility of international markets opening...
I’ve asked around about this and it’s apparently fake news. There’s no proof captured and even the twitter footage cannot be accounted for.
I’m not sure what benefit this has to Chuck R. He has a very reputable name, why would he suddenly feel the need to throw shit around like that?
I must be missing some of the earlier history (drama) between him and Canopy.
There’s a 6 month notice period to withdraw. The constellation deal would be closed by then wouldn’t it? I don’t think the nafta situation has any direct impact on what’s happening in the industry right now. Indirectly and long term, yeah, it’s going to be a disaster.
Oh also this is kinda big Malaysia is changing their tune now as well: https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2018/09/26/malaysia-in-talks-to-become-first-in-asia-to-allow-medical-marijuana/
“You have to imagine. What you’re seeing right now [in the cannabis sector] is that all these are Canadian companies. What happens on the next wave when U.S. companies go public. Oh my God.”
Too true! Hahaha
Not bad not bad
