Free falling...
There will always be people going to the movies. Just like people will always go bowling or concerts. The problem is with pre pandemic amc was not well and trending downward and now in 2022 we go through post pandemic. What’s the diff with post pandemic of increasing pps especially with post pandemic? What are they doing differently to increase attendance pre and post pandemic when pre they were falling. Did the pandemic change the game of streaming services? China and New Zealand are open now.
Not saying nobody will go. Saying large portion of people will not be comfortable of going. Pandemic optimistically will end 2021 early 2022. Prepandemic amc was not trading well around 8-9s and they were falling yearly. They are bleeding in debt now everyday. The recommendation is if they do not think outside the box, what diff would that make that after pandemic it wouldn’t trade in that area again - despite pandemic being over the head of people?
No juice to the catalyst. You can have a contract to China, but if nobody uses that 5g, where is the business? At end of the day they need to show potential or something to get that revenue in.
Amc was on life support prior to pandemic. Now pandemic has doubted some to even going to the movies post pandemic. Whether amc is opening up or not, you hve to compare pre and post pandemic if people are going. Amc needs to do others to diversify like those streaming competitors. Amc is losing millions and millions. Thanks to the redditors they didn’t have to bankrupt ... those that says this will go up then why did they go down prior to pandemic?
It’s back to pre redditors pump pps. Nok needs a catalyst. They need to figure out their 5g situation
People are trading other stocks. Unless there’s another pump for amc.
This gonna be a long year for nok. Prob trend around $4 without much news.
They were booming 5 years ago. But streaming services and pandemic. They need to be innovative and think outside the box.
Last time it was $20 was 3 years ago.
No signs of Netflix or amc. Just so nobody is confused. Everyone just waiting for squeeze if possible.
The problem is not whether they open or close. It’s whether they will get that 100% full capacity from people. Streaming abs content is king. Look at China now, without a lockdown. Going to theaters is very small there. It’s why AMC was on verge of bankruptcy prior to pandemic. Of course Netflix or others can buy them but this like any are pure lottery guessing.
Prepandemic it was trading around 8-9$. What’s the justification for triple?
Unfortunately 5-6s will be tested. This PPS is back to where it was prior to pandemic. Just not enough buyers and more sellers taking an L. Sadly the pump is over and Wall Street won once again.
You’re not wrong. I assume you sold already?
Yes. All are open.
With the trend of streaming services it looks like that’s where it should be. Content is king. Theaters hve been empty for a year. They have to think of things to attract. Even in China now that everything is open, nobody is watching movies. The fear likely will carry on till 2022. They are estimating people traveling again in 2022-2023. AMC needs cash not debt. Ongoing emptiness will not help them. They must think outside the box.
You don’t think with rise of streaming services hbo Netflix Disney and ongoing pandemic... people would still want to sit in an enclosed room for two hours? Pandemic changed everyone now. Remote working, zoom meetings, and etc are results of pandemic ... they are here to stay even if everybody recovers. More streaming services are getting their own movies. I don’t think movie theater will be obsolete like GameStop. However- I feel they will be in trouble. With ongoing pandemic and still no signs of this opening up till end of year - the amount of debt AMC is ongoing. Not a knock on you but gotta think the other side of things
Highly doubt there’s short interest in nok. This again is a legit long term stock. The company just needs to figure out about the 5g deal. Otherwise this is $3-5 dollars before the pump or anything. Redditors were a distraction/pumper. It’ll settle back now.
No proof of any of it. Most telling to hold abs but are likely selling. Amc is value at $5 and we’ll likely see below that soon. Unfortunately for all of us the Reddit stocks, the pump is over. The shorts and Wall Street will always win.
Slaughterhouse in here. Where is the proof of SSR? It seems people are getting out here.
Likely will fall below 7 today and yes below that tomorrow. If people panic and sell off this maybe game over like gme.
Gonna hrs till Monday but I hope it holds
Other meme stocks are done especially gme. Not sure if amc can hold any longer
Clearly you care lol
According to who?
It was never a buck lol pre Reddit. Clearly you make sense. It’ll likely stay around 3-4s
Shorts for this stock?
It’ll stay around 4s till catalyst ...
Im in nok. But beating expectation wouldn’t get you skyrocketed. It’ll just stay around 3-4s in 2021 without much.
No catalyst for a run
You’re not wrong ...
No dividend. Going to be tough year in 2021.
Today is Wednesday ...
No dividend.
Agreed. Not much catalyst to believe in the earnings. Let it organically grow long.
All speculative. Nobody knows. Gme was a golden unicorn. If AMC can replicate 1/5 of it... who knows
LOL... just like you said u sold before RS... LMAO.
You bought back in? LOL
Barstool guy sold all his gme and amc...
