The chance of Parsi walking away now is about zero. You don't spend a decade building something only to walk away when you are on the verge of a major breakthrough. Gay, Kaufmann, Steinberg, Michaels, haven't been there that long. No way does he bring any of them in if he wasn't serious about making this work. He made mistakes, he acknowledged his shortcomings, he brought in complimentary help, that's what leaders do. Does he still have a lot to learn - like not setting unrealistic expectations? Yes. But for those that have been bashing him, claiming he has no vision, look up the definition of irony; if it wasn't for Parsi's vision this board wouldn't exist. The only question now is if he has news that doesn't destroy existing shareholders after the offering. If he can just deliver something concrete before the offering it will payoff nicely.
