I like the creative packaging and 'boxes'. It's like a happy meal.

How did everyone find out about TRTC? I'm trying to remember but I can't. I'm guessing I was searching for pot stocks.
How do you find your stocks? Do you see any other stocks with as much upside as TRTC?
Not sure if this helps anyone, but it's what I was using up until yesterday.

POSITIVE THINGS
I like the access to 2 new production facilities for IVXX, able to produce in Q4, for a combined 1/2 acre of facility (22,500 sf). I'm guessing this is only for processing/extraction into IXVV products and not cultivation/growing?
NuLeaf appears to be "powered by Moxie".
I like the access to (probably) sell IVXX in NuLeafs two dispensaries.
Increased market share (+2 dispensaries) in Nevada is very important given the very limited supply of licenses awarded. NuLeaf's Las Vegas location appears to be one of the closest dispensaries to the strip. (3 minute car ride / 20 minute walk). NuLeaf is the only dispensary in Lake Tahoe.
NuLeaf has existing medical customers who will now be (probably) introduced to the IVXX product line in the NuLeaf stores and wanna try new products.
QUESTIONS
I'd like to know how much this deal will cost. Remember, we have a warchest of almost $10 million. If we are leasing 22,500 sf @ $20/sf (guesstimate for cannabis production lease price) that is $450,000.
Is this a short-term lease/deal (1-2 yrs) before we are able to build our own production spaces using our own, already in-hand, Nevada licenses?
Having this increased production ability, does IVXX gain only production ability for sale in Blum (and NuLeaf), or will they be able to expand their line into other dispensaries? Is there line already in other dispensaries?
I wonder how many more announcements there will be besides Q3s numbers before January 1, 2018 - CaliRec? I'm hoping to hear acquisition news for California. I'd hope Derek wants more than two dispensaries in the whole state, and to build the presence in SoCal like he said in the August conference call.
I see Gold is making moves and there's a lot of instability globally with North Korea and Trump threatening a government shutdown next month and with Janet Yellen talking about slowing the rate of interest rate hikes. VIX is up.
These things are bullish for gold and bearish for the speculative stocks, which may be Pot Stocks for some people. This may be a reason for an industry-wide sinking..
I see we'll be voting at the shareholder meeting to give DP permission to do a reverse split before September 2018.
Can anyone talk about what this could mean? If we do a reverse split, that gets us one step closer to uplisting and larger financing? If we don't do a reverse split?
Thanks
I see TRTC breaking out to .37 over the next two weeks before settling at .315
Very true. I think the election year may lend itself to the pattern moreso than TRTC fundamentals.
-- Acquisition Speculation --
Derek said in the last conference call they're looking to expand in CA through acquisitions primarily. He's said many times that they're looking at Los Angeles / San Diego(whale's vagina).
I'd love to go for the residential neighborhood / mainstreet crowds in addition to the tourist spots. LA is just an absolutely massive city with so many neighborhoods to exist in. Plus, I've never met a SoCal person not high.
---
I'd love to see Terra Tech acquire a company with physical real estate and existing storefronts in the LA area. That seems to me like the best acquisition. Terra Tech is paying a premium (up to x5 normal lease prices) to rent because it's an illegal substance. Actually own the stores through acquisition. I'd like it sooner rather than later to get a head start renovating the buildings to Blum standards for January 1st, 2018.
---
But! I digress. Maybe leasing makes sense for now..
With that said, if you're looking to diversify, there are real estate companies specializing in Cannabis-oriented-leases exclusively and they're making a fortune because of the legality issues. I say Terra Tech cut out that middle man industry and own the asset themselves.
*XXII* (22nd Century) is the one company off the top of my head.
My short-term strategy for TRTC is 14 months long. The end of 14 months is late October 2018 and that's when I plan to really cash in on TRTC. I don't care what happens to the stock in the next few months other than opportune times to buy. I'm not sure if it will go down to .18, set a bottom here at .24, or jump to .32 and set anchor there. Not sure, but I think we'll know soon because of the PR promise from DP, and the chart signaling a big move soon.
In the meantime, I'm loading at dips. I think this stock will triple top in 2018, election year, just like it (and MJ in general) did in 2016. Look at the 2016 year, I think it will be very similar because there are more states pushing for legalization. I think electorally Pot may not win in as much as it did in 2016, but I think it'll be substantial enough to entice significant investment.
It triple topped (or something like it) and I think it will do it again.
Jumped from .1 to .60. --- Dip to .25. (600% rise. 57% fall.)
Jump to .51. --- Dip to .28. (200% rise. 45% fall.)
Jump to .54. --- Dip to .14 bottom. (48% rise. 75% fall)
Of course, I'll reevaluate as we go. There could be black swans, Trump or Sessions activities, State rights activities, MJ / DEA reclassification, etc. But for now, I'm in steady buy mode. I really only see up-sides for this company, but I think accepting a long position is going to keep our minds at ease.
What are your strategies for playing TRTC and/or the MJ sector?
I'm buying in the morning. chart looks ready to pop.
OKAY. I see this fall should be the expected rise.
ANY THOUGHTS ON THE AMOUNT OF GROWTH? Is this gonna go to $0.10 or $1.10 during this run?
Thank you
WHEN DO WE EXPECT THIS TO MAKE A MOVE UP?
I was a long time lurker and definitely appreciate the efforts from ChicagoJosh and djdjdj and others. On the ground research is awesome djdjdj. Look like there is progress on the Weedmaps issue too. Lots of new troll posts recently..
Anyway, looks like was have a formation or two.... Looks like a "cup and handle" daily from April, and/or an ascending triangle since July 1.. Both bullish..
Chart bullish. News bullish. I'm bullish.
I may be a relative n00b to stocks but I'm in on TRTC and a few others....but one thing I have been watching very closely is the Trump administration.
Sessions is aggressive on certain things, but I feel very confident that Trump will not let Sessions impede on the cannabis business. Trump won because he's viewed as pro-business and anti-regulation. He's also a firm believer in state rights.
You have 4 states deep in the recreational business, more coming online, and even more voting in 2018 for it in some capacity. Trump knows that he'll lose a lot of votes if he alienates the marijuana crowd. Plus, Roger Stone, a close confidante, unofficial advisor, and long time friend is making it his mission to petition Trump to legalize pot.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Republicans use pot to swing some more Democrat states.
If they do ANYTHING anti-pot, it'll be preventing new states from legalizing recreational. I just don't see them raiding or bothering pot, at all. They've done a lot in six months, but tax reform, repealing and replacing Obamacare, and funding the wall (I don't think will happen because of the 70%+ decrease in border crossings) are on the agenda next. Pot is not on the agenda.
Cheers to a fun Saturday night friends. Great board btw. Thanks to Sleek, djdjdjdhjdjdjdjdj, chicaojosh, and the rest of you
Thanks for that info ChicagoJosh. Noob question: Do our OTC shares translate over to the NASDAQ or NYSE or whatever? Or will we have to cash out on the OTC and buy into the uplist?
When TRTC eventually uplists, what does that mean for our OTC shares?
Also, can't wait for this ride of Q3. Can't decide if I will sell off and buy back in like the rest of the folk, or stay. Any thoughts on that?
Any thoughts on what is going to happen with this thing? I feel like I'm chasing at .04, wish I had added at .01 but it decreased so much I figured it was heading bankrupt even with the good news of 1550. I'm waiting for a spike like when it went to .17 then get out, but will stick around if we think it's heading towards a nice run.
Long TRTC @ .23 avg pps. Will continue to add when I see dips. I'd gladly take another short-lived swing into the teens.
Derek said they're looking to expand through acquisitions.... How much does a dispensary cost in California? In Nevada? How about a production facility? What can we expect Terra Tech to purchase with $10million on hand and $8million (I believe) of that planned on existing projects?
Thanks
