Sure hope you are right. We need something.
Is all this selling after the new offering due to the warrants and the pre-notification to the buyers of the offering? This didn't happen after the last offering, it was flat for quite some time after the offering and then made a little run before the announcement of the hold.
What was the reason for the takedown? Are they really that much ahead of NEO? It's certainly a different approach that may not have good direct comparisons.
I'm hoping they are willing to accept a lot less than they might have in the past, but it's also possible that the willingness to accept less makes for even more serious negotiations. They may be willing to accept a lot less in the end, but even more so than in the past still want to get the best deal they can.
So sometime in the first half of next year, more or less.
Hovacre, when would you expect to see this data?
Yes, understood.
Thanks, nice summary, actually makes me feel a little bit better about the prospects, but only a little bit.
What were your other questions?
I still thinks it's kind of amazing that there is no mention of AXAL at all in the quarterly press release. I also believe that means they will have to say something soon, but nonetheless stunning that they can issue a quarterly release with zero information about what is happening with the product that has taken the most money for the last year.
It's possible they think a partnership is likely within the next few months, but that was just too long to go without locking in some additional funds in the meantime.
I'm wondering, is today continued reaction to the new offering, or is it more of a negative reaction to the earnings release? I thought the earnings seemed like a relative positive, but maybe the market does not think so.
In any case, an amazingly prescient number for where this seems to be settling out today.
Looks like might be relatively lucky to stay over $0.80 today. Truly the worst investment ever, so far.
The more I think about this, I'm convinced something happening with AXAL is imminent, good or bad. It would explain both the lack of any mention in the press release and no conference call, probably a separate conference call is coming soon.
Unbelievable, down 15% since yesterday morning.
It really is interesting that the word AXAL does not even show up in the earnings press release. Something is going to happen soon, one way or the other, if they are to nervous to even mention the word.
I still believe DOC wanted to do another offering last summer, and the board said no so he got canned, on the presumption that Lombardo could come up with a partnership instead. Seems a raise a year ago would have been a better option.
I find it very interesting there is nothing about AXAL in the earnings press release, to me that means there is probably something happening and they can't comment on it right now. Could simply mean there are still some discussions. If they had already made a decision to shut it down, that would be material enough to have to include in this press release, IMHO.
I also think it's possible any AXAL deal will pull in little cash, thus the need to still complete the new offering.
But of course the enterprise value has been near zero for quite some time, the question is will it ever turn around.
I disagree, it's entirely possible, if not late to determine, that AXAL will not even recover the costs of bringing it to market if there are other immuno-therapies brought to market that are more effective. You seem to be ignoring the possibility that it just won't sell.
$1.20 for one share and the right to buy another (make that 0.85 of another) for $1.50, so effectively buy another share for $1.76.
I agree about the AXAL announcement, at this point whatever they say about AXAL will probably be taken as a positive, either still a little more time for an agreement and then shelve it, or shelve it now.
That's the thing though, there's a lot of potential still for NEO and HOT, maybe even some potential for AXAL, we should find out next week. I don't know why, but I kind of feel like there is a chance the worst is now over, and it's really just a bet on NEO and HOT at this point.
I wouldn't count on that happening. What could have happened here is that all the big investors that got out over the last two months now got back in through this offering.
Announcement is out, 5 minutes before the open, typical.
It's a real stretch, but beginning to make me wonder if there is some other announcement coming before the pricing.
Are they actually going to let this trade today without any press release about the pricing and other details?
Where is the announcement this morning with the details?
I think it's safe to say there has been a big change since yesterday, you can change your opinion based on recent events. I liked what I heard early on from Ken, not quite as much any more.
So much for a new offering being priced in already.
What's a likely strike price for the warrants? I agree the likely offering price is $1.20.
Doesn't seem like there's one coming here.
Surprisingly low volume after hours, and the damage seems like it could have been worse, but it probably will be tomorrow.
New offering.
They seem to have settled on press releases before the open, so you should be safe AH on Friday. Anybody's guess about Friday or Monday morning.
Up 50% in a month. Don't know why.
It would be hard to believe they can't find a partner for AXAL if they found a partner for HER2. I assume the HER2 partnership resulted in very little up front money, AXAL may be able to fetch a little bit more.
I agree this doesn't amount to much, but at this point for this company, anything is something.
Seems to be really banging its head against 1.48 today. Would be great if it could break through.
