Amen Tech 4.
He may be asking about the drop in the stock price to .0050 that we see on both TD Ameritrade, and E Trade.
It seems as if something good is in tomorrow's PR if JF is asking us what time would we like him to come out with the PR. Otherwise he probably wouldn't have given a hoot. I personally love his Elin Musk style of keeping us informed via Twitter. Been in some other stocks, and you won't hear a peep for months, why you ask, because there is nothing to report. Not here my friends. Luvin' it!!!!
I'm looking at the same the on TD after the close. Hate when I see that. I was wondering if i was the only one to see it. But it always correct itself before the open.
Thanks guidelines, will be going there pronto to start with candlesticks!!! That is the one thing that has seemed really hard.
Say whaaaaaat? XFINITY says endlessly that they are industry leaders in internet speed. No one can beat them, no one. Wink, wink.
Hahaha. I thought u were going to say like Netflix Shut down Blockbusters. Too funny though.
We haven't made it yet. Let's just remain humble.
In the words of Floria Evans on Good Times, "Damn, Damn, Damn you Sugar Ray." I just finished writing this long post about me trying to keep my feet on the ground, and you say we're going to .25 by the end of August. I call you Sugar Ray for a reason. Every time I read your post I get a friggin sugar high. lol. But what makes u say we're heading to. 25 by the end of Augst? Holla
I've posted on the subject of a buy out a little while back, so I'd like to reiterate once again. First of all, I for one would love to see us bought out tomorrow. That would be sweeeeeeet! But using the Whole Foods and Amazon buy out again, there was a bidding war for Whole Foods (Whole Paycheck as some have called them haha) because over the years Whole Foods has firmly entrenched itself into our culture. A lot of my co-workers are obsessed with Whole Foods. So once again, they are firmly established. I will be so excited to see OTTV do this on their own, and I'm convinced they will. But I'm not sure if they will be bought out on potential alone, and what could be. They are going to have to show that this will work out once it is taken to the next level. And that next level will have to come from lots of subscriptions over the next few months or so. Someone posted a link showing that this has been done before.
The link was from back in 2010. And man they had every channel you could think of. Channels I didnt know existed. Once again, I would love to see 100,000 customers at least by October 1st. And who knows, it could very well happen. The media blitz will have ramp up, and last but not least, once the 10,00+ movies, HBO, CINEMAX, and SHOWTIME hits, I really and truly think it will be a rap. That's when I think we can just sit back and watch this baby grow. And really I'm kinda saying this for myself too. Because when I see some of the talk of this going to .25 soon, I get giddy big time, and then I have to come off that mega-high I'm on and keep my feet on the ground. We're going to get there though, in particular when those shares are bought back, this thing is just too soild. GLTYA
That should've said, "I can't see Viva not taking care of"
Thanks for the post Ranger. Good God man. Reading those tweets from JF, this is just beyond incredible to see what is coming. I know a lot of people want the SEC channel, and they are coming through for them. I can't see Viva taking care of just about every region for sports fan around the country. I was especially excited to see that NBC Sports will be coming eventuality. I'm a huge Formula 1 fan, that's the reason I'm still with direct tv, at $168 a month. But once Viva introduces NBC Sports into the line up, I'm all in!!
Sorry Ranger_7, I didn't mean to post a reply to Intheknow on your page.
All the more reason for the soft launch/beta test. Better to fix these things now with their initial number of subscribers. The last thing any of would want to see is negative feedback from the onset. We all know bad publicity can spread like wildfire. 100 times faster than rave reviews sometimes. So I'm thankful we're finding this out now. Awesome credit score by the way, makes my little 787 seem like nothing, haha, you're the second person I've met with an 830+ credit score, wife's is 840+.
The one thing about that NFL package on direct tv is I can remember leaving direct tv, (going to Att uverse for 2 years, same thing of course), and when i came back to direct tv, they gave me the NFL package free the first year. But a lot of the games were blacked out. OMG, man I would have been furious had I spent $300 friggin bucks and they blocked out just one game. I can see regional over the air games getting blocked to make sure the locals show up, but if I'm paying for a service, for God's sake, don't block me. Last thing there Chief, as a huge 49er fan, it never sat right with me how Alex Smith was shown the door here. Where's Kapernick now? Kap is really good, but something is just not there with him. Anyway getting waaaaaay off subject. Go OTTV!!!
Even though it's been posted by a number of IHubers here previously, I strongly concur that it is much better that all the notes get retired before the media blitz etc... We saw on a number of occasions when notes were sold back on the days when PR's came out, and the stock price didn't take such a beating that way, and in fact a couple of times this week it weathered the storm very well. Now that that part seems to be behind us, this thing can surely fly unabated.
Thanks for the comeback. Damn that makes so much more sense than those technical breakdowns I was referring to earlier.
Now question #2: Slapping the ask is what? Once again I'm pretty sure I've got a good idea. But the more I think about it, I come up with a couple of different scenarios. Going to curl up with a bottle of Smirnoff, and going down hard. Thanks once again.
Being that I'm still learning. I will be asking a lot of questions over the weekend from some of the sharpest and experienced traders out there. Reading it off of some googled site is one thing, but I need to hear it from normal people like you guys.
Lesson #1: I hear about MM's, in this case BMIC, and VNDM manipulating the stock price. But others also say font worry about them, they can't do anything to us really. That's were I need a really good breakdown of how a MM can, effect the market price. I got a basic understanding of a MM's function, but I really need a good break down. I will make so much more sense during the day. Thanks a bunch
I didn't see GLB@ go from the subs, but I do remember seeing it go from $2.32 @ the open to $5.33 @ the close. I think they were suspended about 2 weeks after that.
To C.R.T., Pb1973, and Magic_smoke, thanks for the comeback guys about the guy talking down OTTV, and singing HULU and Comcast's
praises to me on Facebook earlier today. And to you Pb1973, I luved the have fun picking up cable boxes comeback, too funny, that one had me screaming laughing. You guys have a good one, enjoy the rest of your day.
Someone just challenged me on Facebook about VIVA LIVE Tv. He said I should watch out for Viva Live because they are operating in a legal grey zone, and that they are nothing like HULU, or Comcast. But I told him, thanks, but I'm sticking with Viva for now. Any thoughts on this guys comment?
Just saw an ad by HULU on Facebook. Some of you mqy have to have seen it too. They are calling it HULU live. Hahaha. The comments about HULU were awful by in large. Almost every comment started out with people saying HULU was ok when it came out, but all the free stuff went away, and now they want you to pay to get rid of commercials, and so many of them had problems with freezing. Needless to say, I think we are in with a really good company here with Viva Live. Go Viva!!!
For me, more than anything else in the whole wide world when it comes to OTTV, will be the part when they start to buy back shares. That will no doubt send this thing to it's proper share price, aaaaannnnnddd. That should be mean that NASDAQ is around the corner. I'm trying to stay humble as someone ask that we all do in an earlier post.
Yep, I agree. I would just asking some hear to keep things in perspective for a little while. As you and other level headed IHubers have mentioned, it's going to take subscribers before we really see this company reach its full potential.
I've read a lot of post about a buy out. I would be over the moon if we were bout out tomorrow. If that happened, I'd retire tomorrow. But we won't be bought out on potential alone. When Amazon bought out Whole Foods, it wasn't from Whole Foods wasn't a start up with tons of potential. Whole Foods had established itself solidly in the market place. And that is exactly what OTTV will have to do. Now I do think that as you said, "eventually", it could happen. But I'm just ready to see OTTV make it on it own. Hopefully soon. GLTA
Quick question powerbattles. Do u think $10 to $15 PS will be achievable without OTTV buying back shares? I'm using $15 as 1 tenth of Netflix stock price of $150 PS.
FINALLY!!!! Thank You VIVA. DVR next week, and movies the following week. This is just awesome news.
I'm still trying to find out your fascination with this stock Ocho Cinco. I think we are all fine with helpful and or informative post. But usually it's the belittling and tearing down the stock that will scare off a lot of new investors, and will surely hurt the stock. The longs know the game, and bashing won't effect them at all. But I also believe in a higher power, and when ever our time comes here on this board, with this stock, no one can stand in the way. Have a good one Ocho Cinco, and GLTA
Good post. Now don't get mad at me. But at the very end of your post, you stated mainstream coverage. That's the one thing I think the majority of us would've loved to have seen the backers of Garfield do. Coverage on the Today Show, CNN, CNBC, Fox. Now that would be mainstream. But upgrades and improvements are what we are being told is happening as we speak, and the real media blitz will happen then. But I guess this comes down tothe cusp of so many arguments and bad mouthing on these boards. And that is the lack of money in OTC land. Or of course, dillution, or the fundamentals there of. I can afford to be patient for some time. GLTA
Hahaha!! I love the part about ganja. That just made my night. Keep em coming, KID DYNOMITE??
I'm at $160 a month for direct. My wife is dying to make a switch. But we will need an internet provider with way faster speed than what we are getting from directv. The reason being is that we are also looking to make a switch to the home security provider Vivint, which has video monitoring. Those monitors would freeze constantly with the slow Mbps direct is offering. Oh, and did I mention that we are paying $160 a month. Hahaha
Man, PB. What an awesome post. I'm still learning, and will be leaning on you and others to walk me thru a lot of in depth questions. Thanks for all the level headed post I and others have read from you here at IH.
Man, an entire weekend of I told you so's after today's drop. SMH
Wow. Damn good idea. Perfect Fit Bit collaboration!!!!!
U and I R thinking exactly the same. Those revenue and DL numbers will be something tangible that everyone will be able to hang their hat on. Then there won't be any denying.
Thanks Lucefield. That's why I'm really hopeful that if this is played right, FRZT will be quickly bought up by a major company. That way endless funds will be allocated for marketing/advertising etc. We can't compete with them, we might as well join them. Fingers crossed.
I'll give it another shot. I bungled my 1st attempt in my earlier post.Pokémon Go' didn't unleash a wave of copycats. What happened?

Notice anything different about this summer? How bout: there are fewer monster catchers around.
On its one year anniversary, Pokemon Go is no longer a craze -- but it's still one of the top ...more
Trevor Hughes, USA TODAY
Last year's viral craze, Pokémon Go, is no longer flooding parks, churches and main streets with smartphone-toting users trying to catch the virtual monsters that overlay onto real-world streets, lawns and benches.
That doesn't mean the hit game and its money-making engine have gone away. The game has 65 million monthly active users, according to game developer Niantic Labs. That's a drop from its peak of 100 million in August, based on Apptopia estimates. But it's still high enough to stomp on the fanbase of giants like Candy Crush Saga (61 million) and Clash Royale (8.5 million). It's generated $1.2 billion in revenue, the research firm says, and gave part-owner Nintendo a needed boost to its brand.
It's also generated a surge of interest in augmented reality (AR), with tech giants including Apple and Facebook announcing plans to invest in the medium earlier this year. Most smartphone users who aren't chasing Pokémon around the mall may not have used AR. They may soon.
“It put validity to this notion augmented reality could be successful on a smartphone,” said Gartner analyst Brian Blau.

How Pokémon Go hooked millions in just days

Pokemon Go causes headache for parks

With 'Pokémon Go,' augmented reality is having its moment
Is Pokémon Go racist? How the app may be redlining communities of color
But to some surprise, Pokémon Go ended up being that mythical tech unicorn — a hugely popular game that others just couldn't replicate. Flouting expectations, it didn't result in copycat experiences following the launch of a viral mobile game, such as the flock of apps launched in the wake of mobile gaming phenomenon Flappy Bird's ascent in 2014.
John Hanke, CEO of Niantic Labs, attributes this to the complex map data the game requires to discover Pokémon, combined with millions of users searching at once.
"It's more like a World of Warcraft than a Flappy Bird," said Hanke during an interview with USA TODAY, referring to the massive multiplayer game that requires an infrastructure to support it.
That's somewhat of a relief to the legions of municipal authorities and law enforcement who encountered new, unexpected problems as a nation happiest on the couch decided to take a ramble, taxing park services, trampling through cemeteries, and in some cases, making users prey to criminals.
Paul Hoppe, chief of police for Wyoming, Minn., said his department dealt with issues tied to the game six to eight months after launch, but have now stopped.
"We are not experiencing the issues we were seeing last year when it first came out," Hoppe said. "Most of that has gone away." Authorities in Baltimore and Goochland County, Va., confirm a similar dip in complaints.
Developers have been slow to introduce AR games off the heels of Pokémon Go's popularity, but it's a matter of time before more experiences hit app stores, said P.J. McNealy, founder and CEO of Digital World Research.
"It's a huge eye-opener," he said. "AR hasn't had a killer app before this."
The success of Pokémon Go is partly why bigger names are stepping forward with plans for AR. Last month, during its annual developers conference,Apple introduced ARKit, allowing developers of apps for iPhones and iPads to create AR experiences. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg touted big plans for AR during its developers conference in April, claiming the company will make the smartphone camera "the first augmented reality platform."
The game blends a real-world GPS map with an augmented reality experience where players view the Pokémon through their smartphone cameras and capture them by swiping a Pokémon ball in their direction.
The idea for Pokémon Go was born from one of Google's classic April Fools' pranks. In 2014, Google posted details of a spoof update to Maps where players could use their mobile app to hunt down and capture Pokémon, which were previously featured in traditional video games, card games, and television.
Niantic Labs already had experience with the type of game its developers envisioned for Pokémon Go, through its earlier mobile game Ingress that featured two factions battling each other by capturing portals virtually housed in real-world locations.
Hanke says after learning one of Google's engineers, Tatsuo Nomura, had been in touch with Nintendo to work on the April Fools' project, Niantic contacted him in search of a connection with the Japanese video game giant. Nomura now serves as Pokémon Go's product manager.
"Expectations in the first days were single-million-digit downloads," said Hanke.
As Pokémon Go began its climb up the charts, Hanke was traveling to Japan for an event linked to Niantic's other game, Ingress. Staying "a little bit off grid," Hanke received text messages from his wife on Pokémon Go, updating him on its progress.
Before long, the game made appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Most "shocking" to Hanke: Justin Bieber running around Central Park in search of Pokémon.
"When it hit that pop culture radar at that level, it was one of the moments where it was like 'Holy crap, what have we unleashed here?'" he recalls.
Hanke said the studio's goal was 50 million downloads in six months. According to research firm SensorTower, Pokémon Go hit the milestone in 19 days.
At its peak, Pokémon Go was last summer's viral phenomenon. If your grocery store or mall hosted Pokéstops — in-game locations where users can collect items to help catch Pokémon — then you likely witnessed crowds of people wandering around and swiping away to "catch 'em all."
The ability to view the creatures in the real world through your camera contributed to its viral nature, as users spread images of Pokémon in odd places all over social media.
It also got smartphone owners moving, a boon to small businesses who thrive on foot traffic. The game required players to walk in search of Pokémon and even more rare, hatchable eggs discovered at stops that net even more creatures.
"It was novel for a lot of people not tobe going to a movie or a bar or a restaurant — sort of the normal things that you do — but to have this other excuse to just get out and take a walk," said Hanke.
After spending most of July and August 2016 atop the mobile download charts, interest in Pokémon Gofaded. Since then, downloads spike with big updates. In February, Pokémon Go introduced 80 more creatures to capture. The game peaked at #16 overall on Apple's App Store that month, climbing from as low as #249, says data from analytics firm App Annie.
Niantic continues to push updates to maintain its base. It just launched a major update to Gyms, locations similar to Pokéstops where players congregate to battle with their trained Pokémon. It also added Raids, opportunities for groups of players to work together to take down a more challenging Pokémon creature.
Other new features are being explored, too, Hanke says, including updates to how Pokémon fight and player vs. player battles.
Now that Pokémon Go opened smartphone owners' eyes to AR, Hanke says we'll see more experiences for your smartphones. "I totally expect that competition to arrive. We've heard from other companies in the industry about projects that they're working on, so we'll ultimately see that."

Thanks so much Mikeyy. Here's my last point of the night also. The more I thought about it, this may be the part that it currently sticking out more than anything else with me. In the article, not only was Nintendo mentioned throughout, but the number of mentions of Niantic Labs was yuuuugggee! Once Freeze Tag starts getting mentions in national publications along side an iconic brand such as Garfield, Wall Street and so many others no doubt will want a piece of this. Once again, I'm holding on.
After reading that USA today article a few minutes ago. I hope FRZT will get things ironed out with Garfield Go. As mentioned in the article. AR will be next wave soon. And with likes of Facebook jumping into AR in the near future, FRZT could very well get left behind if they sleep on this one. Just take a look at Snap Chat. They had a segment all to themselves. Then Facebook live jumped into Snap Chat territory and it was major struggle for Snap Chat after that. I think i will be sending this USA today article to the staff at FRZT tomorrow morning!!!

Well. Here's the proof that people are dying for a new adventure this summer. With the prizes on offer in Garfield Go, this thing has all the potential to explode right here in the states. We shouldn't have to wait for China. Hope all the bugs are worked out soon. Holding for the long haul. If i screwed the paste up, the article just came out in USA Today about 30 minutes ago.
