Not questioning that you should set a limit to sell shares and make a profit (hopefully). My comment was because you ended it with "before the others start dumping this POS". You could have ended with you want to lock in profit, but you had to add that you think the company is a POS. I know you are negative on the company, I've seen your posts here, but we can all be cordial and try to help each other out. Your comments don't make me want to put in the extra effort to help you out. I'm not saying that to start a fight, just being honest that your comment was very condescending to other investors here.
Well, if you are going to be like this, then instead of asking everyone else about the warrant price, try looking at the 10Qs and 10K and get them yourself.
I believe they were $2.50/share.
Ok, you are the only one that did not get the dividends. So, how about I help you get in touch with Joe and he can get on the phone with TD Ameritrade with you and settle this? If you truly want to get help, private message me and I will reach out to Joe for you to contact you.
bbaaller42, that was an excellent response and recap. Just in the future, the dividend would be worded 20:1 rather than 1:20. But I like how you were to the point.
Just to add, the dividend adjusted price would have been $19/21, so $0.905/share. So the price has not dropped based on the current price today. Of course, there will be fluctuation around the $0.90 price. Good luck.
I'm not the one here with 804 posts in the last 4 years, all with GNBT. So Sad!
I'm not sure how I am going low, when in fact you are the one with insults all the time.
You are right, years ago I had a few hundred thousand shares. Sadly, 300K shares whet down to 300 shares after the Reverse split, like everyone else. I should have bought more shares when it was down to $3 before the dividend announcement, but didn't. So my 300 shares became 6300 with the dividend payout (or forward split as you like to refer to). I have bought more shares since then in the $1.38 level and again in the $0.70 area. So there, now you know what I have. I don't have millions like you keep saying. Please provide proof of that because it would be in the company filings if I did.
I wish I had 1M shares. You make lots of claims with nothing ever to back them up.
Once again misinformation. First off the post by Ron you are talking about is still there. Second, he says reverse split which would mean you have less shares, not more. I’m glad you are the only person that didn’t get their dividend shares...according to you. How about you prove that and post your account activity on wednesday 12/5, if you have the guts to.
So you only still have your 1 share? I do not believe that. Do you have 21 shares for each share or only 20 shares in your account for each share?
cloud, I would like to see the stock price shoot up too, however I don't think we are being depressed by short sellers. There is too much upside and the volume it too low for a short seller to have much effect on GNBT price. Just be patient and let the plan Generex management detailed on the conference call play out.
That must be where grobt's shares went. Etrade holders got them all.
Yes, it looks like Etrade did a manual entry for 20 shares earlier in the week and then did them again, without removing the manual entries. That may have created the downward pressure today.
I bought today shortly after the opening. I should have waited, but $1 a share for you is darn good. Good luck.
Awesome...gonetopot!
I would think there will be some newer investors, ones that bought within the last 2 months, that might sell. However the volume was not high during those months, so proportionally it shouldn't be much. I will not be selling. I cleared up some funds and am prepared to buy tomorrow if the stock dips below $1.50.
I have money available to purchase tomorrow if we get an inrush of sell orders from the TD crowd. I think we will see a major move when they finally announce the first of the revenue numbers. It will be a partial quarter of earnings, but it will show profit for a change. And as Joe has stated on this board, the is a huge net operating loss to burn through, so the company will save on taxes for years to come and therefore show more net earnings for us shareholders and the stock value.
As far as sellers, others got their dividends, just TDA was late, so the sellers were some of them. As Joe stated on the CC, GNBT officers and insiders need to issue Form 4s and 8Ks if they sell, so it has not been them.
Grobt, if you have 21 times the number of shares and the Finra/DTC was 20 for 1, then you obviously received it as a dividend. If it was 20 for 1 forward split, you would only have 20 times the number of shares because they replace your 1 with the new cusip 20. It is only how each broker wants to record it, but if you have 21 times your shares, you received it as a dividend.
Marlinspike makes a good point
"Yikes! I never thought of the new CUSIP number with a forward split! That would really screw things up royally if brokerages were looking for a new number. The fact that many of us now have the correct number of shares in our accounts strongly suggests that Generex gave the proper information to DTCC. Otherwise, the number of shares in our accounts would correspond to a 20-for-1 split not a 21X factor. I still contend that some of these brokerages (the discount types?) might not have the qualified staff or systems to properly deal with this situation. But maybe there was another weak link in this chain?"
That is because FINRA only has forward split as an option. At least your firm knew to address it by just changing the ration to 21:1, so you get 20 shares plus your original share.
Not Joe's fault. He can't call all brokerage outfits that decide to do self clearing. It is specified in their press release, however the DTC is limited on how to record the share dividend. The DTC has messed this up by their reporting to clearing firms.
So I just had 2 conversations with TD Ameritrade and 1 conversation with Joe. When I first called TD, they finally got me to their reorg dept. That were adamant that this was a forward split as registered on DTC. I told them to look at the news that it is a dividend and that every 1 shares should look like 21 shares and not 20 shares. Got no where with them.
Called Joe. He says that it is definitely a dividend and that they should call their transfer agent Broadridge to clarify. Or they could call him too.
Called TD back and spoke again with reorg. They have received a significant amount of calls on GNBT today and are clarifying with DTC as to whether a dividend or forward split. They can not do anything until they hear back from DTC. No matter what I told them about reading the news, etc, they said it shows as a forward split in DTC. But this is how DTC shows it and then need to read the fine print to see it is a dividend. Joe told me they could call him, but they would not do that since they have a channel that they have to go thru to confirm.
So basically, we are at the mercy of TD (or other brokerages) to figure out it is a dividend and not new cusip forward split.
Orlando, they would have to. TD Ameritrade uses DTCC just like them all.
The only reason everyone did not get their shares at the same time is because this happened on a Friday. If this had been any other weekday, the shares would be there for everyone that bought 2 days before the record date. It’s the discount brokerage firms that are messing this up since some don’t work over the weekends.
Give it a rest. The date of the float report is 10/28/18 and not 11/30/18 like all the other reporting. The float will be the same as the unrestricted outstanding shares. And everyone should have their shares Monday morning at the latest. That is the responsibility of the DTCC and not GNBT.
Wonder why TD Ameritrade won’t get them until Wednesday? I have them and will check too, but Schwann has them already and Etrade does not have them.
Aw, you are Natasha on the Yahoo board

Down 40% in a week when everybody is waiting,VERY VERY bad, somebody (Generex) is selling non stop"
Would still love to know how Generex is selling? There are no Form 4s or 8Ks. Please tell us how you know they are selling or if you are making baseless accusations, which I would think the company could come after you for? You are trying to persuade with no evidence spreading incorrect information meant to misinform the public.
Not sure of the "selling still like crazy". The volume is only just over 11K share for the day. That is just noise. When we see over $100K shares, then there would be fire.
Probably because this is currently only an agreement which still needs FDA approval, then everything that goes on after that. It is just too early.
I don't know why people talk of a short squeeze. There are not very many shares short. There will not be a short squeeze, unless there are naked shorts that are not visible.
I wish I was getting paid. Say what you want, I am being critical of the company and not praising them, so spin any way you want.
How did you get a profit in 14 years? You must have bought a bunch recently below $3, because the 1000:1 RS killed the profit for most of us until like $3000/share, before the upcoming 20 share dividend. After the dividend, the break even will probably be about $150/share post the dividend. Congrats though.
Problem is the dividend shares may not be in your account and available to trade at the open on 12/3, so they may not be able to sell.
grobtekrebssvindl, you really have a vendetta for GNBT. Congrats, you are number 1, by more than double the number 2 person. Even beststockgnbt stopped posting and otced has only posted 78 times compared to your 635. You need a different hobby.

otced, I am not going to respond to you anymore. It has been explained in simple terms how the stock dividend works, however you want to keep asking over and over. One post you seem positive about the stock and then the next post you are negative. I don't think you are a shareholder at all and are just here to disrupt things. If you are a shareholder, good luck to you. If you are not, well then....
otced, if you buy by the end of trade on Tuesday 11/20/18, you will get your additional 20 shares (and keep your current 1 share, so you will have 21 total) from GNBT directly into your brokerage account on 12/3/18. If you buy on Wednesday 11/21/18 thru Wednesday 11/28/18, you will still be entitled to the 20 dividend shares, however they will come from the brokerage account of the investor you purchased your shares from during those dates above. Either way, you are entitled to 20 dividend shares on 12/3, as long as you hold your shares thru then.
