Hey bwolf,
Not sure it's taking off. We did drop $0.10 on Friday so bouncing back up $0.05 is not taking off. This PR still did not tell us anything. We need definitive like "Generex has provided 25 peptide vaccine combinations to China to test on infected blood".
A couple of things stand out in this PR...
Interesting...

I agree, it is too quiet. I had expected to hear more about the China development progress. Also our 15 minute test kits. Current test kits are running 3-4 hours. If we had a 15 test kit for Covid 19, it would fly.
I have been disappointed in the follow thru by management.
The way you are saying it is how I understood it the entire time that GNBT was promoting the dividends. However GNBT issued a clarification PR saying that NGIO is a private company therefore does not have an ex date. So if you bought shares during the 2/12-2/24 time frame, you get the GNBT shares thru the due bill process, but don't get the NGIO shares. I am not happy about that and have complained. Still waiting to see if the company will make good on what was stated in ALL their PRs leading up to the dividend.
Well, INO is the only stock positive for the day on that list.
drexy, sorry but no. You would have had to purchase GNBT by 2/12/2020 to have rec'd NGIO shares.
However, GNBT will own 75% (or so) of NGIO after the spin out/listing. So if they have 150M shares at $4, that is a market cap of $600M. GNBT would get $450M of equity added to its books. So if GNBT has 75M shares outstanding, then 450/75 is theoretically $6/share should be added to GNBT stock value, from it's current $0.68. So you would theoretically benefit from this spin out/listing.
That is AIM. What does that have to do with INO?
I am putting FallColors on ignore. Way too many posts saying all the same thing.
Don't know where you are coming up with 19 to 5, since the low today is 6.05. But we know, you are pounding all pages with the death of Coronavirus vaccines.

"Inovio hopes to start testing a Covid-19 vaccine in April, and RBC’s Greg Renza rates it an Outperform. "
Thanks doc. That was interesting. Wish they would use NGIO, a holding of GNBT, so investors know where to look.
Maybe do some research yourself. Flights to China are not canceled, just limited to certain providences.
Define wealthy. He even paid $500k to get the filings of Generex up to date. So he has lived on his earnings from prior career and selling his company. However his funds are running out.
Supposedly he is either on the plane now, or will be today.
From the post by doc,
"Generex President & CEO Joseph Moscato is traveling to Beijing tonight to meet our partners and to initiate the collaborative research & clinical development effort with international consortium at an official signing ceremony. "
Most companies pay salaries so they can buy. Moscato has not been paid to have funds to buy shares in the open market. Also if you notice ALL the deals that they have worked on in the last 1 1/2 years, you have to wonder about black periods.
That is a very good question. The answer is he took over Generex in 1/2017. He takes no salary...yet...gets no stock options...yet. He has worked the last 3 years for the benefit of the shareholders, with the caveat he will be compensated well when he gets long time shareholders whole. So far with a 21:1 GNBT dividend 11/2018, 1:4 NGIO dividend 2/2019, 2:5 GNBT and 2:5 NGIO dividends 2/2020, he is trying to make that happen.
Generex Provides Coronavirus Update:

Proof? Since Moscato has no shares, please provide details (links) to where he is selling.
I would take that bet, because they will not. Please provide your backup to this statement.
I did not say I didn't know the reason, I was telling others to contact the company to see their side of the story. Not to bother posting here that it doesn't seem right and it will get cleared up. Ask Anna and Rose the hard questions and find out how many millions of their shares did they sell...
That is certainly your choice and would make this very profitable for us all. Good luck.
Can't you send them an email?
Well, with an IPO, it has to be at least $2/share. However it has been publically mentioned that $4, $5 or $8 might be the number.
Jimmy, instead of asking people on this message board, why don't you contact the company for comment?
Sauceman, Antigen Express is the NGIO. You will get those shares and when they go IPO soon, then you will see a value...a very big value IMO>
Or it may be $1/share!
NYD, no. you would have had to purchase them yesterday to get them thru the due bill process. Today they are trading ex div so you are not entitled.
Sauceman, if you are using TDA, you can go to My Account, Cost Basis, Unrealized Gain/loss and you will see your shares are 40% higher that your account shows. They are making the changes and the shares will show up in your tradeable shares as soon as they are complete. But at least you will see them in your unrealized cost now.
Also, the NGIO shares are not showing yet because TDA has not rec'd them from broadridge yet. They will show up in the cost basis area when rec'd.
That is because every brokerage firm handles them differently. I have TDA and the last dividend I did not get them until 2 days after the payable date about 11AM EST. TDA waits until they get the actual shares from GNBT before distribution. That all depends on the transfer company and the processing. Then the due bill process had to calculate what shares get taken back from each account that sold 2/25 thru eod today. Then those shares get moved to the buyer. That takes a day or two, so most might not see the shares until Wednesday.
Also, if you get your shares today, do not sell. If you do, you will be forfeiting your dividends to the buyer. You must hold until tomorrow if you want to keep your dividends.
Right, due to the unscruptous sellers I was mentioning. CMF had 4M shares to sell (and as of their filing a week ago only had about 700K left, so they definitely sold and put pressure on price). And Veneto had 8.4M shares to sell and you know they were selling or totally sold out. However being the way they are, they have not complete a 13G showing their holdings on a quarterly basis. They need to be fined by FINRA for not reporting.
Please provide your backup information as to the doubling of shares. It is clearly noted that 2 shares of GNBT will be given for every 5 shares you hold. In my book that is 40% NOT 100%. Please show your proof of doubling of GNBT share count.
Not sure how it would be considered dilution. If you give out 40% more shares, but the share price on the ex date gets cut by 40%, then it is a wash and not dilution. This is manipulation by some unscrupulous people to drive the share price down before the dividend. Maybe then they can convert into more shares due to lower price and ride up with all that will be coming.
ronrooster, They are not planning on using a shell. They initially planned to buy a shell, but after looking into it more closely and the NASDAQ IPO requirements, they believe they meet the NASDAQ requirements to do a direct IPO to the NASDAQ. So no shell at this point.
As for a symbol, currently they are only a cusip number for the shares. If they IPO to the NASDAQ, I wouldn't be surprised if NGIO becomes their ticker, but no one knows that until NASDAQ receives the application with the ticker request on it.
skiever, there is no split information yet. The 2:5 dividend was postponed until this Friday as the pay date, and Monday as the ex date. Some of the brokers made a mistake with their adjustments yesterday.
Please check your math. They are giving 2 shares of NGIO and 2 shares of GNBT for every 5 shares of GNBT. 2 for 5 is 40% each of NGIO and GNBT. NGIO could be worth quite a bit when finally public.
joepcf, I agree with too many purchases in such a short period of time. They definitely need to get revenue going, however they were using stock priced at $2.50/share to purchase most of the companies.
As far as the dividends, it wasn't to just give dividends, it is to give non restricted shareholders more % ownership if the overall company going forward. This way when revenues start to come in, you own more of the profit from those revenues. The issue is that CMF started selling Restricted shares that were not entitled to the dividend and that has muddied the water. So the dividend wasn't money, so it does not hurt the company to give the stock dividend, but the only way it works is if it ONLY goes to the non restricted shareholders.
NuGenerex Immuno-Oncology (Antigen Express) will be merged with a listed company. Then the cusip number will be replaced with a stock symbol.
Please review all news.
It is a 1:1 dividend to non restricted shareholders. It will be like a 2:1 split, however it is a dividend.
I can't find any info on them. I was told they are a relatively small fund that is owned by a billion dollar fund.
