WaFd is dead; 1% chance they emerge in SCOTUS in 5 years. Conservatorship stands including the warrants. 3rd Amendment is only issue alive in courts. Not an opinion. Fact.
Case dismissed. Why bother talking about it?
You’re welcome.
My internet got fixed. Common looking good today! Great time to rotate to preferred while there's still an opportunity. Don't be greedy. Climb up that capital structure before you're at the bottom of JPS_Converted's bird meme.
Yes.
Ackman is down ~20% on GSE common and lost 5 years. Happy?
I'm still waiting for my internet to be restored, too. Can someone answer this question? Thank you.
Can stocks trade for $0.00?
My internet is down. How is $FNMA doing today?
Amazing picture. Well done.
Everyone aware that there's virtually no chance that the capital raise will happen >$5? Hopefully everyone's cost basis is $1-2. Good luck.
Thanks for adding the additional excerpts. I hope that this fully clears up the issue with the CFA Level IHub analysts.
Negative $150 billion in core capital. If that's not "desperate financial trouble," what is?
Why are common significantly underperforming preferred since March lows? I would think that delays and slow recapitalization would favor common over preferred. What does the market know? Should I consider selling some preferred to buy common?
POLL: WILL GSE COMMON HAVE A GREEN DAY BEFORE NOVEMBER 2020?
Is this the GSE common board?
If so...
Ouch. Better luck next time.
There are still plenty of preferred shares available in the market if you want better returns with less risk.
He said that shareholders may have gotten screwed, not necessarily common shareholders, and that was before his tenure at FHFA.
His famous paper on NWS took a hit when he said that the NWS was "of questionable legality."
Pre- vs. post-FHFA Calabria is important.
Make you own luck, I guess. Would hate to be on the wrong side of that trade for the next 6 months.
Yeah; who is this Mark Calabria anyways? Not like he's the independent regulator of the GSEs who quite literally controls their fate...
CrytoNator is back to save the day!
Did SCOTUS only take the preferred shareholders case and not the common shareholders? Why is everyone selling common and buying preferred? Please advise.
The capital restoration plans will include the junior preferred share conversion. Holden Walker guarantee.
Don’t forget the ponies. Judge Alito loves to award ponies to successful plaintiffs.
I’ve long felt that the most equity will be raise initially at ~$5/share and more and more people are coming around, notably Nomura which has laid it out nicely (except for a few minor errors like convertible JPS counting towards CET1).
Case dismissed.
Good question. I expect the relisting to occur at the same time of the re-IPO which will be the price at which JPS are converted. Just a guess. I don’t see why these would need to be re-listed ahead of re-IPO.
Tweet from Llamas? Was Carlos not available?
Common overvalued at $2.20 compared to preferred. Need FNMAS/FNMA to be at least 5:1 to consider choosing common vs. preferred. Another +20% on FNMAS from here then would be coin flip on most likely outcomes.
For variable $50 series, need a double from here before I would consider common at $2.20.
Market may be kind to common soon, but would be unwarranted until preferred get back to 50% of par while common sub-$2.50.
How many shares do current executives own? None? Oh, okay.
They’re called “preferred” for a reason.
He literally compared the GSEs to Hertz - "very positive" indeed.
I did note that Calabria seemed excited by the "largest public offering in history." Nice trophy for his mantle. I'm sure that Houlihan Lokey, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan feel the same. "Mnuchidilutionsolution," if you will.
New investors would rather buy 10 trillion shares at $0.01 than 1 billion shares at $100.00.
There is no balance. It's math.
You still haven’t figured this out? Overpayment are only about $125 billion. Your beloved Judge Sweeney said so.
Instinet = Nomura.
Holden Walker Capital also agrees with ~$5, though.
What court allows punitive damages against the government?
I thought that I killed this dream a few months ago. Reminder: https://twitter.com/HoldenWalker99/status/1222277488031805441?s=20
They ignored Calabria’s words and now they ignore his actions... baffling...
