Perfect post. I hope the good Doctor is making the case for such authorization. Nine years later (heck, nine years ago I felt we should get EUA) we can absolutely demonstrate safety and efficacy. People are dying.
Great post.
On another note, I think our time has come, as shareholders. So much potential here. I know about selling the fruit and not the tree, but I’m shocked no entity has tried. So much obvious value, going forward. And we’re finally lifting off. Love to see that quick move to 10-12. We’re going there.
They’ve bought it up this far...I don’t think it’s over... guessing .40 and higher going into the split...
....including the closing print:312,500
Nice day, holy smokes, and ‘wow’ worthy.
Trend, you saw this in January, when insiders first started buying. So did I. Good job. This buying action is very comforting. They are bidding this up into the RS. What this really shows is 1) confidence in ELX-02, and, 2) that we will be tightly held/ low float. I love the idea of a low float, tightly held stock, in conjunction with the potential of Eloxx....and they didn’t get the recent European patent for nothing. Things look good.......folks in the know are wanting to own, it seems.
Eloxx has everything to do with the RS. Correct me if I’m wrong. We will issue lots and lots of new shares, so we can give Eloxx 70% of it/our stock. In return, we get/become Eloxx, ELX-02, and 38 million dollars, to bring ELX-02 to market. We become a new company, funded sufficiently, I presume, to establish ELX-02 efficacy and, if so, bring same to market. If we prove efficacy, I dunno, were worth (well) North of a billion dollars. RS away. We lose the penny stock label, we lose a couple hundred million shares, and we become a low float, actual, viable, promising entity. Reverse split as large as possible, IMO. Just this once, but now is the time. This is not a typical RS situation. This is a transformative occasion, and if ELX-02 works, we are parabolic to the upside. IMO.
A little pre RS buying....
Not that it matters (!) ... I’m revising my guess to a 1 for 20 RS, after issuance of shares. I’m thinking that leaves us with a nice low number of shares outstanding/float, after all settles.UHD, that could be good for you, as it will leave room to fall, if that’s what will be. If so, I’ll bite on some more with you.
Terry, thanks for the input! I like your thinking/analogies. I’m an old time options guy....premium buyer (strike out most of the time, hit a homer every (blue moon) now and then). Premium sellers, they win most of the time, get carried out once in a while. This is “low”/quantifiable risk (lose all/zero), high reward. I’m used to it. Good trading in the meantime, to all.
In a way, this isn’t a typical RS situation, right? I’m not saying this won’t go down after the RS, who knows. RS will happen, new shares will be issued (Eloxx cut), stock will be adjusted...but we will also be an entirely new entity, funded/cash at about 38 million dollars, I believe, to bring to market, I’m hopeful, an innovative new approach to a variety of unmet medical needs, with considerable upside, if proven as to efficacy. So, In what is an an unusual feeling for me, I’m okay with a larger RS. We have something of value here, finally, I think. We will see.
Add Martijn Kleijwegt, newest Board member, to the list. 38 million raised, right?
Love it. Dr. Frost, Silvia Noiman, Dr. Heft....they are not out to "sucker" anyone. Noiman is putting her name and reputation on a science, from Baasiv, that they've now had TEN years to look at, tweak, and clearly and obviously wholeheartedly believe in. Think about it. My next opinion is the stock is bid up (purchased from all those who are no longer involved and are happily getting out) toward 40 cents, at least, before a five to one split, in tandem with the issuance of new shares for the Eloxx people. Why not. Some folks clearly believe in this. Tightly held. IMO. Love it.
Well, for better or worse, the ole truck has been backed up....now pretty full. Call it investing, instinct, hunch, gambling, or worse. I dunno.
Thanks for the response. Interestingly, maybe, is that Pontifax has an AgTech side (PontifaxAgTech). If there is anything to Senesco, on the ag side, maybe they see it. On the Fabrus side, no clue. On the "shell" side, I'm thrilled that my seemingly worthless, previous, investment appears to have legs. My sense is that Eloxx is, at the least, legitimate. My guess is this is the beginning of their exit strategy....meaning spend a few years to prove and develop their science, and then sell to a larger bio firm. Their people appear top notch. I'm more than okay with the reverse split idea....make this a low float, tightly controlled, sufficiently capitalized company, as it appears this will be. I've been buying (more) and plan on continuing to do so. I don't know a lot. No idea regarding Fabrus/valuation...it sure wasn't looking promising, based on our share price. Frost...smart, Pontifax...smart, Eloxx..smart. Frost not a quitter...Maybe third time is the charm...thanks. Time will tell. All, IMO...
Thoughts? So, is it reasonable to assume they will issue about 70 million new shares, approaching about 100 million total outstanding shares, in order to give Eloxx their 70%, or about 70 million shares?? If so, would it be a reasonable guess that we then do a 10-1 reverse split? 100 million outstanding at .30 becomes 10 million at $3.00. And we list on NASDQ, with about 30 million dollars of the recently acquired funds, and worth same market cap. Thoughts? Obvious to everyone but me?? And is this so Eloxx people can get out, on people like me, or build/grow a company/business? What are the advantages to Eloxx/pontifax to this "acquisition"/move into the Sevion shell, versus going public on their own?
Yup. I stand corrected. That's pretty significant size....
This is not going to be easy to buy, it appears. Certainly not in any significant size. I'm also willing to venture a guess that some future buyers not only won't mind bidding the stock price up, but there will come a time that they (Frost and friends) will actively bid the price up. That, and it is still my opinion that we are dirt cheap here. I guess I don't mind either way, up is fun...but I'd rather it stay lower for now, to buy at these levels.
Thanks. Looks good to me, too. I'm pleasantly surprised by the turn of events....
My .02: this is presently valued at an extremely low market cap, given the news. It was arguably defensible (market cap) pre news of this "acquisition transaction"....as it was seemingly plausible that Svon would not survive. This is a Paradigm shift in the future of this entity. How do you value that? Not sure. Certainly have to factor in an equity raise of 24 million, on what terms?? And then the Potential(s) (pretty intriguing) of this new entity...(??), throw in some Frost factors(s), the new management/researchers/investors (impressive, imo), to name a few reasons, and, imo, this valuation seems low. It's okay by me....I, too, will keep adding. Just some off the cuff thoughts...
Love it. This is great news. It all makes sense now (...a 300K loan to get them through one month(?)... something had to be in the works). Very exciting. Ground floor. Great minds involved here, basically undiscovered/unknown by (almost) all. Too exciting. Best to my new friends, I'll be here for a while!
Well, I'm hoping at a higher price...I put my money where my mouth is...and am long. Maybe they will go out of business, I dunno. Folks seem to want out...
SVON needs a suitor. Im thinking they will sell themselves/be acquired, at a higher price. Just a question of who/how much. IMO. Thoughts?
