The middle between $100.00 and $3.00 is $20.00 ????
I have spent many a brutal winter day on the Oswego River in NY chasing those finicky bastards.
Crupt: is this some financial term with which I am unfamiliar?
I absolutely agree.
Well this doesn't suck !!
Donotunderstand:
I agree with every word! I did not go into appropriate nuance, an oversight which you corrected with aplomb. Thanks for the on-point addendum sir.
We can cordially agree to disagree. I have found that some beliefs or opinions ingrain themselves to the depth of religious belief (probably both yours AND mine) and about the most you can do is offer your opposing view and leave it at that. But one thing we agree on is .... LEGGO our Fannie!!
Wealthy people do not spend more money because they HAVE more money. That's what poor people do. That's what keeps them poor. This pablum that giving wealthy people more money will make them SPEND more money is on a par with the Nigerian prince who needs help getting his billions into the U.S. and will send you several million if you just send him five grand.
Excerpt: Last week, Senator Bob Corker publicly raised questions about Trump's fitness for office. The Republican from Tennessee said that Trump "has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability nor some of the competence that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful."
Now Bob Corker is not the U.S. Senator who you would pick to be the most upset and the most pro-active over racially insensitive remarks. This leads me to wonder if Corker knows that his efforts to kill the GSE's are doomed under a Trump Administration and he (Corker) is using this controversy as a last-gasp effort to unseat Trump and save his position regarding the GSEs. Thoughts??
CNN Article Here
I'm picking up some sarcasm (Which I probably earned)I saw the story and threw up the comment without checking to see if anyone already had (head hung in shame). I suppose I was excited and hurried to post good news. Silly me, should have known it would already be posted. I'm guessing I don't have to answer your questions as I believe they were sarcastically rhetorical.
Mea Culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. :^)
Any of you folks notice that Judges Ginsberg and Millet reworded their opinion today?
There's a WSJ article that talks about the endgame for Fannie & Freddie. Can one of you rich WSJ subscribers post the text here please ...
I am amused. The people here who have this deeply held belief that the evil Barack Obama stole the GSE specifically to fund the ACA will not ever be convinced that their BELIEFS are not FACTS. It's similar to the Warren Commission apologists who cannot accept the LHO did not kill Pres, Kennedy alone (if he had any involvement at all). They will go through ANY verbal machinations to keep from being convinced that their beliefs are incorrect. Those of you trying to talk them down are doing the equivalent of trying to teach a pig to sing ... all you end up doing is wasting your time and annoying the pig.
My opinion is that people here are struggling with the dilemma of keeping their political beliefs and positions AND having a good outcome as longs.
How can Elizabeth Warren be supporting an end to conservatorship and be a DEMOCRAT?!? My narrative is that Democrats are bad! This does not compute.
How can Mel Watt now be competent and our friend when he was the evil bastard taking our money? The idea that he was simply a man doing his job to the best of his ability in order to sustain his family is ABSOLUTELY incomprehensible to some folks.
I find watching these circuits blow to be a very amusing pastime.
Could Watt have been poking Mnuchin with a stick? How often does a subordinate warn his new boss that action must be taken and get ignored?
Or ... is Watt about to fall on his sword and be the guy to defy Congress so Mnuchin doesn't have to?
Or has he been directed to fall on his sword?
Just throwing thoughts out there/
