Yeah the last poll numbers I saw VERY recently say 66% of Americans FAVOR legalization for adult use. And don't forget the pill popping to go along with your statement-" Yet many cops and judges are alcoholics and drunks". Matter of fact just last week we had a local, high ranking officer get caught feeding his habit by stealing pills from the evidence room. All this going on while he's busting folks on the streets for MJ or other transgressions.

Countdown to Legalization

Another day of cannabis bloodbath.Canada stocks getting CRUSHED.Silver lining is TRTC holding up fairly well vs a lot of others.Thought October was supposed to be a good month for sector.OUCH!"If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?"
Damn, the whole sector appears to taking a big bath today.Yes even all the Canadian darlings.
Yeah,Jeff's not really the problem for the MJ industry right now. He's all about enforcing the law as it's written. Can't fault him for that as that IS what his job description is.He's kept hands off in allowing the states' rights to so far prevail regarding MJ law,so I give him kudos for that.Don't care for him on a personal level, but that's another story.Ol' PETE Sessions on the other hand, is really a weasel for not allowing certain(ANY) items regarding MJ law to even make it to the floor for discussion. This tells me that he is BIGLY in somebody's pocket.Freedom loving Texans MUST vote him out in November.Obviously FREEDOM and POPULAR OPINION of the people is not as important to him as special interest money in his pockets.
Prohibitive tax laws keep cannabis companies like TRTC from being able to show any profits.Profits would be taxed at a rate of 70%,which is why we need Fed legalization so that those BS laws will be changed. No company is going to show profits to be charged a 70% tax rate on them. That's why the monies TRTC makes keep getting re-invested into the business.
Members of Congress, businesses push for homegrown weed-
Washington just got some major peer pressure to embrace the bong.
Its vast northern neighbor Canada legalizes the retail sale of marijuana nationwide Wednesday. The Canadian cannabis sector is already estimated to be worth $31 billion and upstart marijuana companies have soared on the New York Stock Exchange.
But America’s patchwork of state laws — and federal ban on marijuana — put American pot companies at a high disadvantage.
It's unclear whether the push will get very far: Attorney General Jeff Sessions has declared war on marijuana, though his efforts have been dampened by a not-so-hostile White House. Yet Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) said last week that the White House plans to address cannabis reform following the midterms.
Rohrabacher's efforts are bolstered by a chorus of congressional and business voices calling on the Trump administration to respond with an “America First” policy on pot.
A publicly traded U.S. cannabis company bought a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal Tuesday with a message to President Donald Trump: Canada will take over the U.S. marijuana market if we don't legalize soon.
Lawmakers from states where marijuana is legal express incredulity that American researchers have to import foreign cannabis.

My sincere condolences to you BriarPatch .
Once again it's our own Derek Peterson leading the way for the US mj industry.Go get em Derek.Even the con-in-chief has to be smart enough to see how much $$$$$ a legal mj market can mean to the US economy.Folks will be making so much money with legalization, they won't even notice that THEY are paying for the proverbial "wall of security".TRTC and Derek Peterson at the forefront of the battle.
The majority of our population would love to have sane marijuana regulations and legalization on the books.Trust me,if you know more than 15 people, you probably know someone who indulges in MJ,at least occasionally.RE: your statement, how many of these types-- middle of the road R's who have logical brains and are willing to listen to reason --truly exist anymore in DC? Over the past decade or so,most of those types of decent folks have been vilified by their party(RINO)and been driven out or retired on their own accord due to frustration and all the BS.Really,I pose that as a serious question/statement.We're now held hostage by the fringe movement. And NO, I don't support the fringe on the other side either, and basically agree with you on those 2 gals.I am non-affiliated and cast my votes for the PEOPLE,NOT THE PARTY.The majority of us,I'm sure, reside much more in the middle than most of our alleged "leaders".Folks should stop blindly voting their "party lines" and make those in power work together for the good of ALL OF US,not just fringe fanatical supporters.Politics of fear has a stranglehold on our Fed gov't and is taking us down a dark path.Much less so at the local level,or even state level.Vote out the angry old privileged white guys who use antiquated, prohibitionist MJ laws to suppress the general population.
Terra Tech Corp. (OTCQX: TRTC) recently announced that the City of Santa Ana has granted its East Dyer Road, East Carnegie Avenue and South Tech Center Drive locations vertically-integrated Phase I permits. These permits allow the Company to commence development of cultivation, manufacturing and distribution capabilities at these locations. Moreover, upon completion of the build-out of each location's facilities, they also confer upon the Company the right to apply for Phase II permits which are needed to commence commercial activities. The Company is expanding its presence in Southern California as the state's cannabis market continues its transformation from a black market economy into a multibillion-dollar, regulated market. By opening several locations across Santa Ana, each of which will benefit from vertical integration and will house the Company's recognizable 'Blüm' dispensary brand, the Company is positioning itself as a major supplier of medical and adult-use cannabis to all the surrounding cities, such as Irvine, Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, all of which currently suffer from a scarcity of existing cannabis dispensaries. When completed, the Company's expanded cultivation and extraction capabilities will allow it to ramp production of its proprietary IVXX cannabis products, which are grown and harvested under the safest and most beneficial conditions. All IVXX products are thoughtfully produced, rigorously tested and certified to the highest standards of potency and purity for sale at the Company's proprietary Blüm dispensaries as well as at third party dispensaries.

Hell yeah, though I no longer frequent the gym there's no doubt about that. You simply can't work out after drinking. But you CAN put in a good workout with an MJ buzzzzzzzzzzzzz.Same with post workout, you don't want to pour alcohol into those worked out muscles, but a little herb is a very nice relaxing finish and wind down to a good workout,IMO.
No doubt that Derek is a very good PR man, thoughtful and well spoken. All throughout this campaign towards legalization Derek has been a go to guy for a lot of media outlets concerning any and all goings on in the US mj industry.Yes,hopefully he inspires some NEW money to check out TRTC and invest $$$$ in the company.
I did not.If anyone comes across a link or transcript to DP's part of the summit, please post it.Thanks in advance.
No doubt.Anything affiliated with Forbes sounds pretty good to me.Excellent exposure for TRTC/BLUM.Great forum for Derek to be a part of.

Looks like an EXCELLENT addition to the TRTC/BLUM line of products.Building the BEAST,attaboy Derek.TRTC/BLUM $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
For those of you unsure of what the 280 E tax provision is,or the power that PETE Sessions has to disrupt any hope of sane mj policy in the U.S.,PLEASE check out this link to story. Thanks DD8.
You are correct in that mj is NOT specifically mentioned which perpetuates the problem. Those "strongmen" countries group it all together when it comes to suppression of their people. The nut job in the Philippines doesn't care if it's it mj or other,he treats them all the same.I'm pretty sure trumps buddy Vlad does the same.MJ NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OUT OF THE CONVERSATION when it comes to discussing "illegal drugs".It is an HERB that has been in use worldwide for thousands of years. To be honest, you could say the same about coca plants and opium poppies.Locals have used those plants for medicinal purposes also for thousands of years. It's only when mankind figured out ways to concentrate the plant substance that it was transformed into products that addicted and began killing folks.Stick with the quality edibles from TRTC/BLUM(or smokeables) and we'll all be alright.
What a bunch of horseshit. They have to stop lumping THE HERB-marijuana- in with the really BAD drugs-heroin,coke,chemical opioids, etc. There IS a distinct difference and mj should be excluded from the conversation and taken off of the man-made lists of "dangerous substances".FACTS PROVE that mj is one of the least harmful substances that people can ingest into their bodies.I see our con-in-chief picked up some really great supporters of human rights to support his cause- "the Trump administration assembled a number of hard-line countries, including Russia, China, and Saudi Arabia, as partners before sending out the action plan to all member states. The Philippines — where President Rodrigo Duterte’s drug war has drawn international criticism for its extrajudicial killings and brutality — and Myanmar, whose government stands accused of genocide, were both included on the final list."--Yeah, really GREAT company indeed.
No doubt. You can't try and sell liquor licenses while letting the "speakeasies" operate freely.Shut 'em down!
Unfortunately for us "longs" some folks who bought at 1.50- 1.60 are taking some profits with 50- 75% gains, that's to be expected. It's a sour byproduct that we still have to deal with with the pps at this level. As our price grows, that type of action will shrink. No worries here as TRTC is continuing to grow out the bidness.Long run,we'll all be good.PATIENCE grasshopper.
California marijuana enforcement continues: Humboldt busts illegal grow
Published 20 hours ago
A California county’s drug enforcement unit raided an unlicensed cannabis cultivation operation this week, dealing another blow to the state’s thriving illicit market, which has been stealing market share from legal marijuana businesses.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit – in partnership with multiple county and state agencies – served a warrant to investigate the property and discovered the growers “did not possess the required county permit and state license to cultivate cannabis commercially,” according to a news release first reported by Redheaded Blackbelt.
Investigators destroyed roughly 5,000 cannabis plants and 596 pounds of cannabis shake in the raid. They also found the following violations:
-Water diversion.
-Stream crossing (nine violations).
-Water pollution (three violations).
-Failure to establish a Hazardous Materials Business Plan.
-Commercial cannabis ordinance.
Fines could reportedly total up to $155,000 per day.
The raid is the latest act of enforcement against illicit cannabis businesses in California.
Los Angeles prosecutors filed charges against 515 people in a crackdown on 105 illegal marijuana businesses earlier this month, and the state targeted an unlicensed dispensary and MJ delivery business last month.-=-------------- EXCELLENT,the more illegal ops they take out the better off for legit businesses like TRTC.
And with that cultivation will be a BIG DROP in the COGS.Along with a LOT of one time build out expenses that are already paid for,TRTC is on the verge of being self sustaining. Now ,if we can just get the damn tax laws changed they could actually start showing some profit in the not too distant future.
I think it's a huge difference on whether we get fed legalization or not.My guess is that WE DO.And with that we will compete with canopy at that $50 pps area.TRTC has a FANTASTIC SHARE STRUCTURE at this time, which will make it a hot commodity and very valuable for investors. Also the build out continues at an increasingly rapid pace. The groundwork laid out the past couple of years is beginning to bear fruit. GREAT THINGS ARE HAPPENING every week it seems with TRTC/BLUM.The ball is rolling down hill finally, after a few years of constantly pushing it UP the damn hill.Without fed legal we might only be in the aurora neighborhood of $10 - 15 pps in a couple of years, but my bet is on the former.
Terra Tech shares pop after receiving key permits for a trio of Californian locations--http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/205579/terra-tech-shares-pop-after-receiving-key-permits-for-a-trio-of-californian-locations-205579.html
More fantastic news for TRTC,that's a fact. There is so much happening right now with TRTC it is VERY EXCITING to watch. This ball is gaining incredible speed as it rolls down the hill. All the efforts from DP and company over the past couple of years are beginning to gel and come together.Wait til that Canadian bubble pops, along with more positive news in the upcoming U.S. elections,TRTC is looking incredibly good, imo.A lot of irons in the fire and they're starting to really heat up.Harvest time grows closer each and every day.
Re-posting an already debunked hors$sh&t article. What a piece of work.Your boss'll be proud of the effort.IN THE MEANTIME, TRTC keeps on building and GROWING(LITERALLY) one of the best US mj companies on the continent.THAT IS THE TRUTH.
"Lots of selling going on"? ? ? ? How can that be with the share price up today? ? ? ? Please explain the logic(??) behind that brilliant statement.Educate me/us how the price goes up with all that selling.
#1. Great rally yesterday for TRTC,let's take it up another notch today and finish the week STRONG.#2.Dilly Dilly to the Browns for finally winning and any one who gets a free BudLite out of the deal.(Hey-free is free,it's a little tastier than plain water)And #3. May the Gods start smiling on the folks in the Carolina's,and start drying things out down there.I'll keep on shoveling my snow, thank you.Ya'll can have your hurricanes.I'll take a good ol' blizzard any day.
I agree with you ONE BILLION PERCENT.TRTC is the most undervalued LEGIT mj company in the U.S.Good things come to those who wait,we'll get there.U.S. mj industry still in the beginning stages, pending some FED LEGAL clarification .Hopefully the November elections are MJ positive for the PEOPLE,but even without it the tides are turning in our favor for sure.
Canada is a huge bubble right now.Over-valued,over-hyped,over-sold.Somethings gonna give up there and then--POP.If we could get some positive news down here in the states, that money would start flowing south. It's coming, just a matter of when.TRTC in a great position when that time comes.Cue the haters...........
More important to dump Pete,by a long shot.Jeff simply doing his job by wanting to enforce the laws as they are written.Even with that stance he has let the states prevail on the mj issue so far, which is fantastic.I don't particularly care for the MAN,but I can respect his stance re: doing his job.On the other hand,A-HOLE Pete refuses to allow items to even come to the floor for discussion. That's a crime, and he is NOT doing his job.PETE Sessions MUST GO!
Until the tax laws change for businesses in the MJ sector, there will be no sense at all in making any profit and paying 70% tax rate on such. But I bet you knew that already as it's been mentioned before.
Sorry but I can't let this stand without an honest reply. We're all aware that the r/s was a necessary evil after the share count approached a billion shares. Now the current share structure is very appealing.Yes it's taken a beating since the r/s,unfortunately.But the reality of TRTC is that it has done a lot of great things the past couple of years and continues progressing as we speak.Dispensaries are open.Grow ops are, well, GROWING.Licenses have been acquired and products are selling.Currently there are a lot of irons in the fire for TRTC and as we move forward a lot more great things should be happening at a fairly rapid pace.
NEW JERSEY operations are right around the corner,on top of California and Nevada which have multiple operations already up and running in BOTH of those states. The political winds are swinging favorably towards Fed legalization and if anyone doubts what effect that will have on TRTC/BLUM's operations and share price, then you really are kidding yourself. The big Canadian ops are wayyyyyy over valued for the most part.Hell Aurora's approaching a billion shares outstanding(do I smell a r/s coming soon for them?).11 billion dollar valu on Canopy is ridiculous,IMO.Soon we'll see prices on those plummet as people start profiteering.
The U.S. market is a different animal until we see FED LEGAL,that's an undeniable fact. With elections coming in 8 weeks or less, hopefully legalization gets on the fast track. And TRTC/BLUM WILL BE RIGHT IN THE THICK OF IT.DP's done a damn fine job working within the constraints of this Fed ILLegal industry working extremely well within the STATES RIGHTS legal scenario. No doubt he knows what he's doing and knows how to navigate the legalities of it all. THAT'S BEEN PROVEN.
Nope,I'm NOT happy with the current share price. But look at what TRTC/BLUM has accomplished to this point, and what they have currently in the works and one will see they are LEGIT and setting the company up in a BIG WAY for future success.Lots of great info posted on this home page,up above, details all that has/IS going on with TRTC/BLUM.Traders will still try to play this stock up and down.I'll hold it long, thank you.
You are absolutely correct Briar.Yeah it's easy to grow MJ,just as it's easy to grow a lot of things(fruits, veggies).Anybody can grow.BUT it takes a certain skill, along with a lot of time and effort,to grow REALLY GREAT ANYTHING.I've grown a LOT of different stuff in my days-fruits,vegs,herbs,flowers-and there can be a HUGE difference in quality depending on what kind of effort I put into a particular item or crop. From fertilization to weeding to watering to light, there's a lot of factors in play. And then with MJ, the curing process is at least as important,if not more so,than the actual growing process.Grow a great crop but cure it incorrectly, and you may as well not even bother to grow it in the first place.
Ya know at one time I would've agreed with you on that Jeff Sessions thing, but HE'S really NOT the problem. As he's said all along he's out to enforce the laws as they stand, which really IS what his job is.He's said that congress should change the laws that are written. If (when) that happens, there will be no worries for those in the MJ biz.He has left it to the states up to now, and I'm sure will continue to do so,due to overwhelming support from the majority of states. He's also done the right thing as far as recusing himself from con-in-chief investigation. This pisses off the "leader",but it was absolutely the right call.So Jeff really is doing his job, although I certainly would question his character as a human being. The real culprit gumming up the works is PETE Sessions from Texas. He's the one that must get voted out for refusing to allow legislation for MJ legalization to even get presented on the congressional floor.MOST of the DC politicians are very willing to try to change the laws as they are currently, but PETE stonewalls any chance of that happening.GET OUT AND VOTE ,PEOPLE.Take back YOUR gov't from those who do NOT serve the will of the people.
YES, I do want to party with you my friend.Cheers.

Hydroponics wholesaler Hydrofarm has outgrown its space in Petaluma and is boosting its local presence by leasing 72% more space, bringing it to 190K sq. ft. in the Northern California town. The company is a leading supplier of equipment, supplies and lighting to the cannabis industry, operating seven distribution centers, with two in California and additional locations in Colorado, Florida, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Texas that enable it to reach customers throughout the country within two days of placing an order. The company’s President, Peter Wardenburg, says it wants to get out in front of an expected boom in business following the passage of Proposition 64 which legalized cannabis for adult use in the state. https://www.newcannabisventures.com/tag/hydrofarm/
Hmmmmmm, when I search Hydrofarm products I find all kinds of stuff for sale on Amazon,Walmart,Wayfair,e-bay...the list goes on and on.But yet certain folks here can't seem to find any mention of Hydrofarm whatsoever. How can that be?Counter to the agenda perhaps?
