Say whaaaaaaaaat ? That would never around here, would it ? "anyone that says different is either lying or trying to manipulate investors. " Thanks for keeping things REAL and TRUTHFUL ,BP.
Yes because all investment decisions should be made based upon anonymous postings by sketchy players on a message board,IMHO.I firmly consider TRTC to be given the grade of "EXTRA SUPER HUMONGOUS BUY " based upon the whispers of my dog this morning.IMHO
Gotta agree with you on that.Just got to keep the BIG picture in focus and work through this rough patch. We're getting more and more politicians on board, the prohibition clock is ticking down.
"By comparison, marijuana is nontoxic and cannot cause death by overdose".Self explanatory I would say.
TRTC is in the business of growing, producing and selling high quality cannabis products for CONSENTING ADULTS to buy and consume in a safe and legal manner.Look, LIFE IS A RISK.You can spit out any little stat you want that is anti-cannabis.One could find stats supporting or conflicting with ANYTHING in life.People fall down stairs.Should we outlaw stairs? We all know that totally sober folks die in car crashes.Should we outlaw cars and only allow bicycles? Whoops ,that won't work because people fall off of bikes and get injured or die also.Only walking should be allowed(on flat surfaces,no stairs! And NOT if there is any ice)LEGAL ADULT MJ USAGE IS NO MORE HARMFUL than eating Twinkies. If I stuff my gut full of artery hardening garbage and have a heart attack while driving and cause an accident that kills 3 adults and 2 children, what is society to do?Outlaw Twinkies and potato chips?? Re-read my choking info --Hot dogs can be a quick, easy — and deadly — meal. Hot dogs are the perfect size, shape and consistency to block a child’s airway, and a WebMd report rates hot dogs as the top choking hazard for children. Choking killed about 2,500 people in 2009, according to the National Safety Council,. We can all simply stay in the safe cocoon of our homes(better be a ranch style-no stairs) and you know what? We'll all eventually die of something anyhow.People who jog or eat "healthy" all the time still have heart attacks and strokes.I could go on and on.The anti-marijuana argument is weak and prejudiced.Obviously real scientific facts and centuries of life experiences will not change ones' hypocritical views on marijuana if one has been brain-washed, and no facts shown will alter that. The same problem affects the rich, old white guys that have been running our gov't.Fortunately for the rest of the world, those views are eroding as more politicians come to the realization that lying to the public about marijuana has become a losing battle. They will lose their jobs and their power unless they start listening to the PEOPLE who realize that the war on marijuana usage among adults is ridiculous and futile. The "REEFER MADNESS" era of lies and propaganda is coming to a close.TRTC will prosper, the changing of the guard is happening now.
Marijuana is the third most popular recreational drug in America (behind only alcohol and tobacco), and has been used by nearly 100 million Americans. According to government surveys, some 25 million Americans have smoked marijuana in the past year, and more than 14 million do so regularly despite laws against its use. Our public policies should reflect this reality, not deny it.
Marijuana is far less dangerous than alcohol or tobacco. Around 50,000 people die each year from alcohol poisoning. Similarly, more than 400,000 deaths each year are attributed to tobacco smoking. By comparison, marijuana is nontoxic and cannot cause death by overdose.-- https://norml.org/aboutmarijuana -- To address your question Saint Mag(EVEN THOUGH YOU REFUSE TO HONESTLY ANSWER MINE)--YES. We could prohibit AND LOCK PEOPLE UP for a whole lot of dangerous behavior, starting with possessing Hot Dogs--TOP 5 CAUSES OF ACCIDENTAL DEATH IN THE UNITED STATES-#5. Choking (Approximately 2,500 deaths per year)
Choking poses a serious health risk to children under the age of 3.
Hot dogs can be a quick, easy — and deadly — meal. Hot dogs are the perfect size, shape and consistency to block a child’s airway, and a WebMd report rates hot dogs as the top choking hazard for children. Choking killed about 2,500 people in 2009, according to the National Safety Council, and kids ages 3 and under are at the highest risk. Potential choking hazards include balloons, marshmallows, gooey gel candies, grapes, nuts, chewing gum, carrots, chunks of meat and peanut butter, apples, hard, round candies and small toys kids like to put in their mouths.------ https://listosaur.com/miscellaneous/top-5-causes-of-accidental-death-in-the-united-states/ --Perhaps you should start an anti-HOT DOG campaign to fill your time.HOT DOGS appear to be a far greater danger to people than using MJ ,IMHO.
Why wouldn't it be OK for a consenting adult to go out with some friends to a concert or "smoking lounge" or a party or ANYWHERE for that matter and then go home via Uber or designated driver? I'm certainly NOT condoning driving while stoned ,as I would not condone driving while drunk or while popping your favorite prescribed meds.Your failure to address my question as well as your adherence to the "reefer madness" scenario tells me all I need to know.MJ related deaths are absolutely miniscule at best.
People are allowed to go out of their homes and indulge in alcohol.Believe me, mj is NO WORSE than alcohol.Being an alleged law enforcement person, you must have encountered many, many situations where alcohol fueled people were involved in dangerous and threatening behaviors. And if you encountered ANY of that behavior with someone smoking mj,I can GUARANTEE there were other substances involved other than just mj. GUARANTEED! It's long overdue time to let go of the ancient "reefer madness" propaganda and thought. It is simply NOT based on any factual evidence.BTW you didn't answer my question-what do you indulge in.Try some honesty, highly doubtful you're a saint.Don't be a hypocrite.
One can usually find exceptions to general observations regarding almost anything, including many of your DIS-honest opinions.IMHO.
Do you drink alcohol at all? How about coffee? Do you ever pop an aspirin,or something stronger? If what one indulges in does NOT affect you or do harm to others, why should it bother you what one chooses to indulge in?
Not sure WTF the problem is with pps right now and I'm certainly not happy with it,but it kind of mirrors what a lot of the industry stock prices are going through right now.And NO that doesn't include hemp only stocks, those are a different animal,so save the peanut gallery comments. In the meantime TRTC is continuing to grow up and out and that is a GOOD --VERY GOOD-- thing.I couldn't resist yesterday and upped my holdings by 15%.At some point soon, the share price has got to start moving forward.TRTC simply has too many good things going on in the pipeline. And the political winds are certainly beginning to blow favorably.
You say--"GLDFF share price has fallen only since the announcement of the merger! "--- Better check that alternative fact of yours.Let me help you--Jan 2018 GLDFF was in the .40's. Sept 2018 it was in the .20's.That was LONG BEFORE merger talks. Now it is .10.OUCH.GLDFF bagholders should be praying for a merger with TRTC or else GLD will be sunk like the Titanic.
"We were doing fine before all this merger nonsense" so you say. Let's see now,in January pps for GLDFF was almost .60 .April it was .20
.July it was .13 .Had a little pump before settling back here at .12 .I see that as a 75 - 80% LOSS for the year. GLDFF should be on their hands and knees BEGGING for a merger with TRTC.
Now that there is what you call a real pump-n-dump scam for sure.NOT AT ALL what we've got with TRTC.REAL PRODUCTS,REAL LOCATIONS,REAL SALES,REAL EXPANSION,REAL BUSINESS= TRTC.
TRTC CEO Family name background DD. ----I noticed some folks have nothing to do but post nefarious "alternative facts" concerning TRTC and/or people associated with the business. Here is the REAL TRUTH taken from another poster........... YOU'LL NOTE NOTHING SINISTER AT ALL regarding such. This is done by someone every day in the USA.Just de-bunking a little BS being regurgitated about TRTC and our CEO,for anyone who might not know better.
ROBERT J. HALL (obituary) (step-grandfather of Derek Peterson.
Died at 80 years old in 2012. Married to Marie Deshon Hall for 39 years.
Quote:
"From the obit click here for obituary He is survived by his seven children, Scott Hall, of Augusta, Steven Hall, of Wayne, Stacia Hall, of Winslow, Shaun Hall, of Chelsea, Stephanie Hall, of Bangor, Sarah Plante, of Readfield, and Jason Hall, of Rockledge, Fla.; two stepsons, Joseph Peterson, of Harpswell, and Vincent Oppedisano, of Great Island, Harpswell;"
Two Stepsons is the important part. One with the name Vincent Oppidisano, and one Josepfh Peterson. Means that his wife Marie L. Hall was married twice before marrying him, or that Joseph changed his name to the similar last name of Peterson.
--------------------------------------------
Next Obituary comes from Donna Seabury-Peterson whose husband was Joseph Peterson of Harpswell, ME.
Quote:
"She is survived by her husband Joseph Peterson of Harpswell, ME; her three children, Brandon Cardoza of Wareham, Job Cardoza and his wife Monica (Botelho) Cardoza of Attleboro, Kendra (Cardoza) Andrade and her husband Leslie Andrade of Wareham; her step-children, Heidi (Peterson) Nye and her husband Steve Nye of Marion, Derek Peterson and his wife Amy (Almsteier) Peterson of Laguna Niguel, CA. She was a loving Grandmother to Drayson and Desman Andrade, Lucina Mavrelion, Jessica and Jared Nye, and Joseph Rocco Peterson; and great-grandmother of Makaylee Melcher. She was also a beloved older sister to Shirley Hoskins and her husband Mike of Woburn, Mary “Mimi” Seabury and Rose Linskey of Newburyport, and Donald Seabury of Naples Fla., and sister-in-law to Lucky and Ginny Oppedisano. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins, as well as many friends. Donna was predeceased by her mother Mary Seabury, and her daughter Courtney Cardoza."
Again above Step-children is important. Shows that Joseph Peterson is father to Derek Peterson. You also see the connection as Oppedisano is Joseph Peterson`s half-brother, who apparently changed his last name from Oppedisano to Peterson at some point. Most likely after discovery of a different father, or to the similar name of Peterson. Compare the two names Oppedisano and Peterson. Very close, and could have been changed just to make it easier for Americans to say. The name Oppedisano comes from Italy.
Proof of Derek's father changing his name comes from a forum about the Oppedisano name, in which a participant named Derek is also seeking info. You can find the following info there.
Quote;
Hi, I was just searching the Oppedisanos and saw this message. I dated Vincent N. Oppedisano ll for 5 years back around 1986. His father was the senior and he was married to Virginia (Ginny) with another son Kirk. They live in Cundy's Harbor, Maine. The brother was Joesph, but he changed his last name to, I believe, Peterson? He was a sail maker-the last I knew of. I hope this helps. They are a wonderful family.
Found at this link - click here
My take is that Derek's father changed his name from Oppedisano to Peterson sometime many years ago.
What does this have to do with TRTC being a great investment? NOTHING!!!
Just proves that there is no conspiracy, or intent on anybody's part to deceive anybody.
Let's not forget that the 2016 election cycle really threw a wrench into the gears of the pro-cannabis movement and the businesses affiliated with such. The people were "rewarded" with a VERY outspoken anti-cannabis Att. General which put a huge damper on the fed legalization effort and forced the industry to slow down tremendously. We've been fortunate to keep things moving forward at the state level without fed interference. And now, with the number of states on board, there will be NO turning back. With that being said,we still need tax reform ( fed legal would also be nice)to eliminate any and all barriers to make our mj industry profitable and world class.
All the news one needs to know.Any questions or concerns that anybody has about TRTC,well here is your primer compliments of BriarPatch.Real facts about a REAL company. No BS just the facts ma'am.Thanks for keeping us updated BP.
Well right now gov gets ZERO, cuz no company is operating profitably due to that issue. Thus they are paying NO taxes.Legalize and tax appropriately, everybody wins.Except those who operate prisons, and crooked cops of course.
Net profits would get taxed at a rate of 70% due to arcane US tax laws re: MJ industry. NOBODY is going to show profits and allow them to be gobbled up by the gov't at that rate.Hopefully that will soon be addressed by our lawmakers.Tax laws, and of course FED LEGALIZATION,are what is really holding back our US mj companies.Time for the DC pols to get on board and move this MEGA-BILLION DOLLAR industry forward.
AHhhh, a voice of reason. How nice.Whole sector unstable at the moment, for whatever reason. This election cycle was certainly positive for the long term outlook of U.S. mj sector.Ongoing ops and expansion continue for TRTC.Merger with GLDFF will add exponential value to BOTH of these companies.Future is VERY BRIGHT.I think it's a manipulated beatdown of share prices before the industry moves forward.Cue the yokels.
You sir/ma'm are totally correct. It's only those who succomb to the fear and nonsense of those under the bridge that lose money if they get scared into selling. If you have faith in the company and the industry at large you hang on and ride the waves.FACT -Legalization gets closer every day.One would be a fool to be bailing on TRTC or any pot stocks of LEGITIMATE companies at this point in time.Keep in mind the cultivation currently under way for TRTC,should be due to begin harvesting very soon.Politicians are lining up to usher in legalization. The tide WILL soon be rising so yes,I'm staying in my boat.
Look, please stop the idiocy. If one invests $1000 and you lose ALL of your money, you are out $1000.That is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.There is NO WAY POSSIBLE that you can LOSE 4X that amount.Grow up and quit the childish arguments.
NO you are absolutely three hundred billion percent WRONG.Take a math class. You can NEVER NEVER NEVER lose more than 100 percent.THAT IS AN EXTREMELY TRUE FACT.
A truly sad state we are in BM.Whatever happened to trying to BE BETTER ?
So we should be taking stock advice about TRTC from folks who claim that one could possibly lose 400% or maybe even 1500% of their money? ? ? Can someone please explain to me how that is possible ? ? How can I possibly lose many more times of what I've invested ? ?
Ha ha,Nacho Daddy. What a great name.If the BLUM location there were to merge with them they could call it Nacho Daddys Dispensary.Pretty sure my daddy had NO dispensary.
But still, once MJ is no longer a federally banned substance,I would think some civil rights lawyer would take up the case to have mj testing declared unconstitutional.I don't see how it could remain legal to test for a substance that is legal NATIONWIDE.Again if Mr. Truckdriver goes home on Friday night and smokes a J,it certainly has no bearing on his sobriety come Monday morning. Now,if my pilot is toking up in the afternoon and climbs in the cockpit in the evening then yes I have an issue with that. Not sure how it's gonna work out,but it seems some changes in the testing protocol will be warranted if/WHEN legalization happens.
I would disagree with that. I think drug testing for pot is ridiculous and once common sense prevails, will eventually go by the wayside.Testing "positive" on a Wednesday for something you did last weekend is really un-American.Compare it to drinking alcohol. That would be so wrong to ban workers from EVER drinking. The fact that THC stays testable in your system for a month does not make it right to test for.I've recently read that quite a few companies are NOT testing for mj usage to expand their pool of qualified job candidates. With legalization will come more EDUCATION for the general population and I can see "drug" testing changing over time,as it already seems to be.Though it will take some time I'm sure.
Always amazed at the number of "fine folks" here who are always looking out for everyone else.Great bunch of humanitarians.Makes me laugh. What a fine world we'd be living in if it were really true.TRTC just keeps on growing up and growing out and right now JUST GROWING.YES-harvest time is drawing near for TRTC/BLUM.Please don't try to save me from myself.
Pete lost, that's GREAT news for the fed legalization discussion. One giant step forward. At least now a reasonable discussion can begin with our lawmakers and they will hopefully listen to THE PEOPLE and fast track FED LEGALIZATION of MJ.This farce of prohibition could soon be coming to an end.Now perhaps the con-in-chief will make a push toward fed legal. That'll earn him some love on a lot of fronts, and we know that's what he really wants. It was previously rumored that he might talk legalization after the elections. We shall see.
Seems as though the under bridge dwellers have come out in force ever since news of the possible merger between TRTC and GLDFF.That just means they really think it's a good thing for TRTC and they're trying hard(once again) to talk down the price a little so they can buy on the cheap.EXCELLENT merger to expand the TRTC/BLUM footprint.
RE: Goldleaf merger--any expansion of the TRTC foootprint, especially into NEW territory is good news for the company and for shareholders.M & A is great news as far as I'm concerned.Creating an inroad into Canada also must be viewed as a positive. The more ground we have covered when legalization happens the better off TRTC/BLUM will be.May the "blue wave" wash in the "GREEN REVOLUTION".
Well folks, here we are---election day 2018.Here's hoping "Pistol Pete" Sessions gets his ass handed to him down in Texas so that we can start getting MJ bills discussed and voted on in D.C.Pete's public enemy #1 to the mj industry regarding fed legalization of the mighty herb.TRTC and the industry at large need him to go down in flames. All imo,of course.
California county seizes 400,000 cannabis plants at one unlicensed grow
Published 4 hours ago
Law enforcement officials in Santa Barbara County, California, seized a whopping 400,000 marijuana plants from an illegal cultivation site.
That’s the “largest to date” found in the county since the launch of the regulated market, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office and a report from The Tribune News of San Luis Obispo.
The plants were spread among other traditional crops, according to the release, but were so numerous that it took officials two days to eradicate them.
One Santa Maria resident allegedly provided false information to the county in an attempt to get a cultivation license but was unable to obtain one.
The suspects in the case will likely face civil fines but no jail time, and it’s probable they now will not be able to obtain a legal MJ cultivation permit, according to Santa Barbara TV station KEYT.
Although Santa Barbara County has issued more marijuana cultivation permits than any other county in California, the bust drives home that California is still grappling with a thriving illicit market statewide, even in the face of ongoing law enforcement crackdowns. -=------ Every "Black Market " op that gets shut down is one more baby step forward for legit companies like TRTC/BLUM--Grizz
Excellent article, thanks for the link. All those folks who don't realize how many people actually indulge in the herb need to re-think their "anti-herb" position.I can tell you that when my wife and I first started dating 20+ years ago,we would frequent a blues bar on Friday nights for happy hour cocktails and music. She is NOT a partaker, but she knew I was.In between sets lots of folks would head outside to indulge in their favorite herb. She was absolutely shocked at the number of folks who were smoking herb.See,before we were dating she would be at the same bar but never went outside between sets.So she knew a bunch of people there, but didn't realize how many of them were "stoners".That is until I came along and joined them. She still doesn't indulge, but I sure as hell do.------Great info in that article "Even as estimates are going public that 80 to 90 percent of pro athletes are at least periodically getting high,"---Let that number sink in people,it's a reflection of society as a whole.
Right on Zippie. Many, many athletes are partakers of the herb.Tested or not, they know how to get around it for the most part.
Absolutely one of the MOST TRUE things you've ever posted. We found some common ground.I'll drink/puff to that. :)
Well with this being your first experience your tolerance level is VERY low so if you took more than a couple of puffs you surely overdid it.I've been indulging over 35 years and with good quality stuff(which is all I ever partake of these days) I limit myself to a few puffs at a time. And I am a highly functioning member of society and have ALWAYS worked both a paying job as well as a whole shitload of home/yard projects.I don't make enough $$ to hire out my work,so I am true do-it-your-self-er.Jack of all trades to maintain and upgrade my home and property.I do remodel projects, cut and split firewood by hand( with a maul),maintain fruit and veg trees and gardens, even a little auto repair when necessary. And my "vacation" time sends me out backpacking and canoeing, which is NOT the pastime for the lazy, believe me.I also know numerous others who live similarly.Mechanics, roofers, construction workers, electricians.I'd say smoking pot DOESN'T make one lazy. But some lazy people might smoke pot and/or do REAL drugs. There is a BIG difference,IMHO.And you'll find that the lazy people will bond together just as us working folk also do.And NO, I won't get high when I'm chainsawing a tree down in the yard, but when I'm done I do look forward to some buds and beers both.Do not judge many on a cross-section of a few there, officer.
One can never have too much knowledge or information,so good for you for trying to go the extra mile.Digest it and hopefully make some educated, quality choices. You are correct about judges, them suckers keep their mouths closed about what they really think. One must research their actual decisions, to glean insight on their true feelings. That could prove to be very tedious.
One week to go til voting time.ANYBODY INTERESTED IN MJ LEGALIZATION in the US needs to educate themselves on who is on THEIR ballot.ONLY VOTE FOR THOSE CANDIDATES WHO WILL HELP TO LEGALIZE!!!! I personally cannot vote against Pete Sessions(wrong state) but you folks in Texas sure can.GIT ER DONE. Not for legalization? Not getting my vote. This IS a big deal people. We are on the cusp of turning the tide toward legalization and politicians love their cushy jobs.Vote the "anti's" out now and it'll get easier with the next round of voting. If the vote goes well this time the feds might actually perform the will of the people very soon and LEGALIZE THE HERB.Y'all know the con-in-chief loves winning, and a positive outcome on the vote just might make him have the brilliant idea to MAKE MJ LEGAL,cuz you know that's how he rolls.FREE THE HERB!!!!! VOTE LEGALIZATION CANDIDATES. Never mind being an R or a D for this one.We all need to be MJ's for his vote.
