Now THAT is funny! Props for having the stones to announce it publicly, but I think if it rose .05 cents that would be considered a "rocket" considering this stock and its' history, situation, and potential.
A "payday"? seriously? RRR? Come on navy, you're so much smarter than to believe that was ever discussed. I have as much "news" as anyone else, which is to say "not much". What I have is one and a half decades of history and good old human nature acting as a guide. You've been around these companies long enough to know which way is up.
told ya ol' Royce was a company man
Do you know something about a reverse split that we don't? Otherwise there's no conceivable path for a "few dollars".
Every time the government is sued it's a victory. They will not now or in the future be forced to release the GSE's. All ya gotta do is watch.
Thx, I'll take a look.

cant find him on X...got his handle?
I hope your assessment is correct. That said, they can "work on it" all they want, but until something substantive happens, I'm sticking to my version.
Stay well.
If that is your equivalent of "they'll always be in c-ship with no path to exit as well as having a court rubber stamped right for Treasury to sweep their profits at any time" then I agree.
List the "pros and cons" of a stock in perpetual conservatorship with no path to exit and you'll know why prices are falling. They always do.
Why is that a stupid question? Chances are he'll sign off on verdict and he's already stated "simple interest" to the detriment of shareholders.
There's also a chance he won't sign off, will delay further, or worse.
If you're so certain of a Laberth wave of success, how many have you bought in anticipation?
I hope the 14th is everything you're waiting for....
Gives him another week to plan...
How is this good news?
Whatever. That which has been swept thus far done so illegally? lol...good one.
Everyone except the supreme court. In fact, not only don't they consider it stolen, they've rubber-stamped the notion that if the government needs more loot...the GSE's are an ATM. Sad times.
Release could literally be done over coffee between treasury and fhfa. No involvement from Congress nor executive branch required. Same with recap. Simply remove the NWS and make it a thing of the past. Both could literally be done in hours.
With those hurdles removed, recap would come through investment.
They already have. There's zero justification fior pps to go up, but a myriad of reasons it can go down.
tell ya what...if this pos gets to.80 cents, then we can talk.
Just so we're all on the same page...what is now considered" the moon"?
I've said this before, literally a hundred times or more. If you care to check, go back in my posts, unlike many here...I don't delete.
Not that it's any of your business, but I used to own a good deal of shares, but over the years have systematically sold off about 95% of what I owned over the past few years, still own a few, all commons (wishful thinking that someone may develop a conscience). I think getting caught up in the "commons v preferred" argument is truly a waste of time. Again, my opinion only. Also, even if I didn't own any shares I'm free to post what I like here, and despite your obvious fear of reality, apparently you continue to read.
I want every shareholder to flourish, but I would graciously sacrifice what I have left to simply see the truth exposed and those that created the greatest financial crime in history be brought to the light of day and punished to the fullest extent of the law.
How?
They won the Sitzer case in MO...the class action will be no different. Doesn't effect the GSE's, but shedding some daylight on the tricks of the trade.
"skepticism" is merely the result of watching this for 15 years and just watching history and human nature prove my "disinformation" right more often than not. Just out of curiosity, tell me what I've said that you'd consider to be disinformation. I'd like the chance to see your perceptions on such a claim.
I don't know this to be the case or not, but I'll also suggest that it would take the complete and unequivocal release from conservatorship to do so, especially considering that's why the entities were de-listed in the first place. Until that language is ever spoken, I cannot fathom that re-listing is an option.
Remember the days where the popular discussion was the "Three R's"? Incredibly but not surprisingly I was called to task for saying that was, and remains, a pipe dream. The fight and lawsuits should have been for only ONE of the R's... and that should have always been RELEASE.
Hello Jerry...
Kramer: "It's a write-off for them."
Jerry: "Write it off what?"
Kramer: "They just write it off."
Jerry: "You don't even know what a write-off is, do you?"
Kramer: "Do you?"
Jerry: "No, I don't."
Kramer: "But they do, and they're the ones writing it off."
I was hoping to hear how we took such a haircut from $325 down to $275, but I guess I'll have to keep waiting.
Wow. Down from $325...that's gotta hurt.
a few pennies here and there good for day trading. nothing more.
Yay. Let's watch that PPS soar.
Thanks. I thought I recalled that as a condition of conservatorship. Biggest financial crime in history. Financial news and other Media = crickets.
I don't know for sure but I think any talk of "dividends" went by the wayside as a by-product of conservatorship.
I agree of course that compound was the way to go, but I'm fairly certain it was ruled that simple interest was ample return. shareholders get short end again.
I'm glad that he did not go that route for sure, and again, I never stated it as a certainty but merely stated that it could not be ruled out as a possibility.
I'm also glad he didn't do it, but again, I never once said it was a certainty. If it makes you feel better to phrase it like I did, then I'm glad for you. I stated that it cannot be ruled out. So would you have granted compound interest or simple interest?
You are aware that earnings have been meaningless for over a decade now, don't you? And don't get your hopes up about releases once the capital retention levels have been reached. Do you really believe if and when that day comes, they're just gonna up and say..."well the conservatorship is over!"
Trust me dude, the admin is here...
I was never "expecting" it as a certainty, but based on his history in the courtroom both here and elsewhere, I said it could not be ruled out.
Who can enforce it? You realize that this is a paper victory, correct? I ask again...Who can enforce it? Hint: The answer rhymes with nobody.
I wish it were just a rubber stamp procedure, but when you have the wrong defendant, as is the case here, they do what they want when they want. Have all the court orders you want, they'll pay IF and WHEN they wish to do so.
