It probably is endangered in the US. Mexico... who knows? No I think peyote is one of those orphan entheogens that will never be popularized due to scarcity and the taste and nausea on ingestion. Perhaps it should remain in the cultural medicine bag of the Indians to whom it is sacred.
I really wish some of these studies would look at Mescaline, or better yet, the entire suite of alkaloids found in peyote cactus. Personally, of the various and sundry psychedelics I tried during my misspent youth in the 1970's, I found peyote to be the most... what's the word I'm looking for? Enlightening? Transformative? ... no thats not really it. Beneficial is a weak word but accurate. Peyote is regarded by the Native Americans who use it as a great "medicine" that heals on levels both physical and spiritual. Let me put it this way... psilocybin is certainly illuminating and powerfully hallucinogenic, but it can be something of an ordeal and I believe it takes it's toll on the body. In fact, the brujos and shamans who have centuries of experience with mushrooms say they are hard on the body and may accelerate aging. Peyote, on the other hand, instills the participant with a sense of great physical well-being and power, underlying the psychic effects. Perhaps this is due to it being a tryptamine rather than a phenylethylamine, so more stimulatory in nature... who knows? BUT it should be explored I believe.
The peyote cactus should also be totally legalized for cultivation, as it is disappearing from its native range in south Texas and northern Mexico and may become endangered.
1921 Morgan Dollars are going for $50 if paid with card. Keep in mind a Morgan has 0.77 ounces of silver in it.

Excellent!
By law, any US Mint coins must be from US mine production. Typically the US Mint runs out sometime in March or April. They've run out way early this year.
Okay just back from my refiner... a multi national company with offices in several countries. They confirm the shortage is real, even for industrial 1000 ounce bars, not just minted products. Everybody has been cleaned out. Just a trickle coming in from scrappers like me and mine production, but that's mostly allocated to industrial users, if I understand correctly.
It doesn't matter what strain or species of mushroom the psilocybin is extracted from. In Amsterdam the "truffle" mushroom is popular due to it's potency and oddities regarding the law there. I believe the species is Psilocybe mexicana and it basically forms a sclerota or truffle-like nodule in the growth medium and the psilocybin content is quite high. So yes, there will be warehouses growing psilocybin-containing mushrooms but it's the purification steps that are critical and expensive, requiring chromatographic equipment and a laboratory following Good Manufacturing Practices and certified for pharmaceuticals. The grow operations and purification operations will likely be handled by different companies, just as it is with Cannabis products.
Generic bullion rounds and bars $33.27 at JM Bullion this morning. Spot is $27.49. So about $6 spread between paper and physical.
The real shocker is the price of US silver dollars (Morgans and Peace).
They're running around $40 per coin. A US silver dollar only has 0.77 ounces of silver in it and the melt value at spot is about $21.
So silver dollars are trading almost TWICE the spot value.
Let that sink in.
July Calls at $40 strike for me. This may take some time
Only to the point where JPM owns more silver than anyone has ever owned in all of recorded history. It's in their interest to let silver run to triple digits.
I agree that MindMed is doing it right. Particularly with 18-MC. I studied Ibogaine 30 years ago while working on my botany degree. Truly an amazing substance like no other.
Maybe other companies can make a go of it in the "recreational" psychedelic market and more power to them. I'm just saying, at least in my experience, recreational is not how I would describe a full on hallucinogenic experience. Powerful, spiritual, illuminating, transformative perhaps, but not recreational in the sense that weed or alcohol are recreational. Not something most people would want to repeat more than once every few months, if then. But I do believe every mentally stable adult should have the opportunity to legally experience these things. Especially politicians. In fact 200mcg of Sandoz 25 per politician would do the world a lot of good. lol
Totally agree. I'm all for legalizing psilocybin mushrooms but as far as there being a huge market for shrooms, I kinda doubt it. I mean if you live anywhere in the world where there are cows, and it's warm and humid, you can find more shrooms in one afternoon than you can consume in ten years even if you tried. Once legal I expect them to become ridiculously cheap.
JM Bullion has a few Am Eagles back in stock. Around $40. That's only a $13 premium. Most items are sold out but there are a few coins and bars available in mid $30. Been in the business for many years. This is unprecedented. Not even 2011 was silver this scarce.

At $5 to $10 over Spot
This is what my refiner tells me as well. Silver in all forms in extreme short supply.
The thing that recently got me excited about BAT and the Brave browser was their integration of IPFS routing protocol. IPFS converts http protocol into IPFS which is routed to millions of enabled computers worldwide, using them as defacto servers. This make internet content essentially unblockable. No server farm like Amazon can pull the plug on a site like Parler, using IPFS.

Likewise. Eich and team are the best in the crypto and browser game. A few years back Eich was the highest paid CEO in the country.
The issue of counter party risk rears its ugly head. If the ETF SLV gets pushed too hard too fast they might go belly up. That's why I TRADE SLV but INVEST in physical
Excellent news!
Look who created Basic Attention Token: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brendan_Eich
This board is fine it's just that a lot of traders are waiting for Musk to tell us what else he's buying beside Bitcoin. lol
Oh the irony... Ya gotta love it!

Maybe March of 2022 but not 2021
Well at least they're doing one thing right!
Tomorrow we bust $5.00!
I believe I do. I may trade metals for a living but my degree is in ethnobotany and I first read about Ibogaine thirty years ago in the seminal text by Richard E Schultes, " The Botany and Chemistry of Hallucinogenic Plants". A pioneer in the field... I recall his name was Lotsoff, tried for decades to get Ibogaine researched and brought to market to treat addictions, but it took thirty years for it to get to this point of recognition and "official" approval as the non-hallucinogenic derivitive 18-MC. So many lives could have been saved. But it is what it is and here we are, about to profit from this medically revolutionary soon to be pharmaceutical drug.
Read Shulgin's books 25 years ago. Enjoyed his other book as well... TIHKAL. Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved. He was a true pioneer in the field and he did it all legally under DEA approval in his makeshift lab at his home.
What I'm trying to understand is why JPM held onto their physical silver while shorting form the 2011 top? That would offset any gains from the shorting. Why would they not short at top and dump physical to amplify their earnings? Not arguing here just trying to understand their strategy
$4.18 high so far
18-MC is a $40 billion dollar drug when it's approved. That puts MMEDF at $175 per share
Priapism kicking in for sure. lol
Heck we may see a 5X rise even pre-listing at this rate. With uplist I feel 10X is possible.
This is the Big One Elizabeth! I may need my money tonight!
Interesting theory on 2011 run.JPM would have had to accumulate physical slowly before going long on paper to cover their paper shorts. Then they would have had to sell the physical on the rise to profit from the trade. They didn't do this however. They just accumulated more physical, which they still own.
Now THAT fellow did some truly outstading due diligence. I would too if I had invested over a million dollars in MindMed!
Bravo!!
When the mainstream news is abuzz about this new CURE for addictions, then we shall reap our rewards. Ibogaine has already been used for decades as an underground addiction cure because it works. Fortunately Mindmed has a non-hallucinogenic derivitive of ibogaine easily administered by your average physician or therapist. It's difficult to imagine what 18-MC is really worth!
Well... in 2011 silver ran like crazy to almost $50 in just a few months. So these things DO happen. JP Mprgan is sitting on the largest private silver horde on Earth. Why do you suppose?
We are entering an era of self reliance as the socialist agenda and it's fetid cesspool of Marxist ideology and monopolistic State supported big business drain the life and liberty from what was once a free country.
The United States is unlikely to exist in 5 years.
Texas will survive though and other relatively free states who also succeed in secession. This is the only path forward by which we can save some vestige of our lives as free human beings.
As a comedian once noted: The Second Amendment is there in case the First Amendment didn't work out.
It didn't work out.
