The RS effective date has not yet been announced. Probably a day or two after the RS is approved on Dec 15.
It has been announced that well should be spudded by end of Q1 2016.
This has not been my experience with ETrade. I have been abel to buy and sell the day the RS was effective on most stocks.
Lets wait until after the shareholder meeting to see if anything other that the RS will be announced. I know you will say nothing else will be announced and that may be true. But lets wait and see.
Based on several stocks that have done an RS in the last few weeks (INVT NURO AEZS) i would think that ERHE will go down the day of the RS and maybe for a few days after. Most I have followed have recovered and even gone up above the RS price within a week.
Of course it will depend on what they say and if they issue more convertible notes immediately after the RS.
Look at the date of that interview. It was before the blackout on buying was lifted.
After all these years you finally reveal your real name. Howdy Mr Hooey.
I still think we will get a run up in the stock price into drilling. How much I don't know.
If ERHE finds oil then We will all be happy.
REDF-Did you buy your 10,000 shares today??
I know at one time you had a large position and had traded the stock successfully a couple of times. Are you still holding your position?
I think the RS could take place on 12/17 or 12/18 if approved (it will be) on the 15th. I have seen them take place this quick on other stocks.
Do we need to set up a gofundme for your bail in case the shareholder meeting gets out of hand if you ask questions they don't like.
If you read my post I said they may not be convertible for 180 days but you are correct who knows. I think most of the notes previously issued with the exception of Chrome were at least 180 days before they could convert.
If they do issue more convertible notes they may not be convertible into stock for 180 days which would probably be after drilling. Do you think that would immediately affect the stock price?
Do you know if NETE has announced when the RS will take place?
I knew you didn't own shares as you told us before. I was just ribbing you.
From what I have seen from other stocks that have done an RS the best time to buy might be the day or days after the RS is effective. The stocks seem to have an initial drop then seem to come back. Of course what they disclose will have an effect.
I would not sell any of your shares at .001.
How can they choose not to let someone in if they are a registered shareholder as of 11/2/2015. I would not think asking a legitimate question could be deemed disrupting the meeting.
I agree with you here. They should disclose everything material but they don't. Hopefully we will find out in the upcoming 10Q 10K
How is that old news. It's dated December 1st today from oilnewsKenya.
I expect the following arguments to be made leading up to drilling in Keyna.
1. If doesn't matter if they drill or not as the odds of finding oil are so low.
2. Even if they do find oil the quantities found will be too low to be commercial.
3. Even if they find oil in commercial quantities it won't help ERHC as they will have diluted so much or sold off a large piece of the asset.
4. Etc Etc Etc
You watch the usual suspects will begin making these arguments as we ramp up to drilling.
Logistics Operations begin at the Tarach-1 well in Kenya Block 11A
December 1, 2015
in Top News
Work towards the Tarach-1 well expected to spud at the end of the first quarter of 2016 has begun with the operating partner CEPSA having awarded drilling service contracts following the requisite tenders and logistics operations toward drilling have begun.
In the meantime Block 11A venture partner has reported increased interest in farming into Kenya as drilling approaches and says it is in discussions with several interested international E&P companies.
The mean estimate of oil prospective unrisked resources for the prospect is 65 million barrels with the mean unrisked prospective resources of all prospects and leads in Block 11A totals 645 million barrels.
The two partners had earlier said that contingent upon the results of Tarach-1, they might decide to drill a second exploratory well, the Egole-1 a four-way rollover closure onto a Northwest – Southeast trending fault plain with mean prospective resources of 101 million barrels of oil, to follow shortly thereafter.
The prospect is defined by four 2D seismic lines out of the 2014 survey. The structural trap is a 3-way dip closure against a north-south normal fault plane at 1,426 mMD (-954m TVDSS) and covering a surface area of 12 sq.km. The vertical closure is calculated at 220 meters at the P10 closing contour.
The joint venture partners are currently in the second phase of exploration entered in September 2014 which require them to either acquire 3D seismic or proceed directly to drilling one exploration well during the additional two-year exploration period.
ERHC holds a 35 percent interest in Block 11A while CEPSA has a 55 percent interest.

Open an ETrade account. No problems entering orders for ERHE.
Where did you see that? I don't see a Form 4.
Must be something with Amertrade. ETrade too my order.
Midtier, emdyal. Take the day off it's Thanksgiving, a paid holiday. Eat lots of turkey and be thankful for your ERHE shares.
I said that AEZS has no comparison to ERHE it's just an example of another stock that had a 1/100 RS. I guess you can't read.
No comparison to ERHE. Just an example how a now ( after RS) low float stock can move with any positive news. Not many shares available assuming they don't issue more.
.04 before split. Biotech company with drugs in clinical trials. Split to get price above $1 to stay on NASDAQ. Don't know about toxic debt as they are in Canada.

Look at AEZS after the 1/100 RS
Look at AEZS today after the 1/100 RS at $4. Almost $8
If you were following AEZS yesterday (the first day after a 1 for 100 RS) it opened at $4 and fell to a low of $3.19 but by the end of the day recovered to $4.23 a gain of $.23. I am not saying ERHE will be similar but often the day the after the RS can by a buying opportunity.
Any perceived good news can result in huge price increases after a RS due to the shorage of shares. For example look at KBIO the last 2 weeks. Went from $.44 to a high of $24. This is a company that said this on Nov 13:
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Nov. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- KaloBios Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (KBIO) today announced that it will wind down its operations and that it has engaged the Brenner Group to lead those efforts.
Most stocks initially drop after an RS. Then may bounce.
Based on AEZS today. First day after RS. Dropped from $4 to $3.19 now rebounding. IMO time to buy ERHE is during the initial drop after the RS.
Look at AEZS today. Did a 1-100 RS today. Stock closed at .04 yesterday so should open at $4. Lets see how the price reacts to the RS.
Bad news. I have been trading in and out of ERHE lately and apparently did not own the stock on November 2nd. So I am not eligible to go to shareholder meeting. Sorry would have liked to meet you and go to lunch. Hopefully next year if ERHC still exists and they have a meeting.
RADA-You still holding - Adding??
After the JDZ failed there were about 750M shares outstanding and let's say $45M in cash. That's about .06 per share not a couple of dollars by my calculations.
