Those 2 or 3 traders probably are.
It’s expected down here, you just minimize risk and maximize reward when you understand the times to buy and sell
The last 2 years I’ve only bought shares from companies that do that, and I’ve done just fine.
Only if TRTC wasn’t expanding and NJ wasn’t about to legalize. Canadien would be the high end dresses and TRTC a couple steps down but still a great dress. :). IMO
October should be a pretty good month for this stock. Just depends how low this gets before then.
Hopefully the upcoming NJ marijuana legalization ignites a spark here.
I’ll take a guess and say you chose this stock for it’s relatively low market value without knowing much about the company. You figured you could try to “influence” others into buying. Your skills will be put to the test on this one, but best of luck. You won’t get much help out from Hass though.
The only chance of success here is determined by how influential you are and if you can bring enough people over to buy to cause a stir. Gala and IGOT420 lol. You should check out both locations. And if you want info on Gala just ask ACE. You are attempting to create that illusion of success, will be interesting to see if you succeed.
Someone just realized there are better investments out there.
Pretty sure that’s misleading. I think it just states the Farm Bill will pass Hemp legalization, which is not breaking news since everyone has known that for quite a while. I don’t expect the Farm Bill to be agreed upon until 2019.

October should be the best month for all marijuana stocks, a bunch of catalyst to spark a run.
Canada laws go into effect
Massachusetts laws go into effect
MI, ND vote to legalize rec marijuana
UT, MO vote to legalize med marijuana
New Jersey gets closer to legalizing marijuana
House and possibly Senate are flipped to the Democrats.
I don’t expect the craziness of the last 2 runs in 2016 or 2017 but we should see nice increases across the board.
Why pass a 5 year Bill that you don’t agree with just for the sake of passing a bill. Seems like that would be a disservice. What’s a few months compared to 5 years?? Again the only way a Bill gets passed is if there are huge concessions by the House and I just don’t see that right now. It would be rational for them to do so, but they aren’t the most rational bunch right now. Also keep in mind what does Paul Ryan have to lose, he is leaving anyway.
You like the stock you invested in and it does have a chance to go up a bit in October, but this is one of the worst MJ stocks you could have picked. Let’s hope you bought low and plan to sell before elections
It will resemble a midget jumping if Earth had 4x the gravitational pull.
The only way the Farm Bill passes this month is if House Republicans and the president give up on actually changes to SNAP. Most likely the only compromise is to make it appear as if the President and Paul Ryan got what they want but in reality very little changed. That would allow them to claim the new Farm Bill is tougher on SNAP recipients when in fact hardly anything changed. If they don’t concede that, 2019 is the most likely date the Farm Bill gets passed. For me, I’m betting House Republicans and the President are too stubborn to concede this without a fight or two.
The illusion was real back in 2016, less so in 2017, and practically none right now.
Correct, almost all are catalyst plays, but you have to have the illusion of success. There really isn’t a huge catalyst this year like there were the last 2 years. Hemp legalization seems to be the biggest but that may not happen until 2019 now.
Less than $5,000 in gross revenue for the first 3 months 2018?? Compare that to $60,000 in 2017. I don’t get why people would buy, and I’m someone who has bought shares the last 2 runs.
So 2019 comes around and something similar to the Senate Farm Bill gets voted on and passed by both chambers, the problem then becomes will the president sign it since it won’t contain any extra work requirements for SNAP?? Who knows how long this process will take but the good news is that Hemp legalization will be in the bill and hopefully will be passed within the next 6 months.
Lol I completely agree, though I believe there are work requirements now, it’s just conservatives in the House and the president insist on upping those requirements. They think if they take that $100-$200 a month away from these people that will make those who don’t have a job want to get a job. I thought they kept touting how great the unemployment numbers were, so it doesn’t make much sense to me. I could see that if unemployment numbers were high, to get people back to work, but what do I know.
VATE is one of the better Hemp stocks, but it’s not worth much without that Farm Bill.
Not a guarantee but I would say at least a 95% chance it will happen. Polling numbers were fairly accurate that last week of elections, it just took a while to see what the results of the Comey letter would be. I remember PA being about a +10% before the letter and the last few days before the election there were polls coming out with her up 2 or 3% and even one that had Trump up in PA, most people forgot or never looked at polling numbers those last few days before the election, they just remember the numbers a few week prior.
Because the odds of an extension for the current Farm Bill is looking more likely at this point. Like I posted on another board Democrats and Senators have almost no reason to compromise with the House because in less than 2 months Democrats will take over the House and the House Farm Bill becomes irrelevant at that point. SNAP work requirements are the main contention that the Senate doesn’t really want to budge on, so why concede when they get what they want in a few months?? Hemp will be legalized but it may not be until next year.
That’s why I think it could be a fight next year over signing the Farm Bill, if one doesn’t get done this year. He has dug himself in on that position and a Democratic House along with the Senate appear dug in on the opposite side.
Looking like the 2019 Farm Bill instead of the 2018 Farm Bill
Did Trump tweet that?
Lol great rumor. It’s equivalent to the rumor I heard the Farm Bill will signed later day.
Thanks for the info, Gailm too.
You seem to know a ton about Bruce and those around him. Serious questions, Have you met Bruce? Have you gone by the facility? Have you done business with Bruce? Is the Hemp farming community just a small circle where everybody knows everybody? I ask because you seem to know a ton about Hemp Inc. The questions aren’t a swipe at you, just interested in how you know so much.
The next possible issue after that would be will the president sign the Farm Bill. He has been adamant about the FB containing more work requirements for SNAP but if the FB is passed next year it is almost certain to not contain any new work requirements. Would the president budge?? Or if the FB gets rejected enough times would Congress budge? Anything can happen, but to me this seems like a likely scenario at this point. Eventually in the near future Hemp will be legalized. It is just a question of when at this point. My money is always ready to buy shares once good news comes.
From that article:
So the farm bill is moving rapidly toward its Sept. 30 expiration date with little chance of passing, and the “legislative calendar this month is packed and working days are running short,” Politico reported Tuesday morning. As a result, Congressional leaders are “looking at the possibility of a temporary stopgap extension” of the previous farm bill “to buy negotiators more time.”
I don’t see this Farm Bill being passed until next year. There is absolutely no reason for the Senate to compromise on any part of their Farm Bill because in less than 2 months the Democrats will take back control of the House. Most wont get sworn in until January of next year.
I’ll always follow stock until the Farm Bill is signed. A little disappointed this didn’t run the first week of September, volume was relatively low. Once that Bill is passed this stock will take off. With the Hurricane and the growing possibility that Congress doesn’t pass a Farm Bill in September I think it’s safer for me to wait on the sidelines, but I’m ready to buy back shares at any moment.
Took my $28k profit today. The thing that has me worried with the Farm Bill is that there is absolutely no reason for the Senate to concede any provisions in the House Farm Bill because come November the House will flip to the Democrats and the current House Farm Bill becomes irrelevant. So then there is a joint bill next year that would leave SNAP the way it is, but then would the president sign it? I was surprised this didn’t run a little more leading up to this week. For all I know MMs will decide to let this run tomorrow, but for me, I’ll be back the moment it looks like a Farm Bill will be agreed upon. Only then I imagine this stock will take off again. And congrats to Bruce for turning this company around this past year.
The reason why there is urgency to get a Farm Bill passed ASAP is due the huge reduction in income for farmers and the big increase in bankruptcy’s.
Back in 2012 Congress let the previous Farm Bill expire, I believe the House didn’t even set up time to debate both versions before letting it expire. It took about a year and a half later before the current Farm Bill was passed. Why so long? Income was at an all time high for farmers. There was no sense of urgency to pass a new bill.
If it weren’t for the ugly situation farmers are facing today, I could see a repeat of extending the current Farm Bill. But Congress knows farmers need a boost and want to give them one by passing a Farm Bill this month.
Although IGOT420 seems to have nothing to do with GRNH anymore, I was wondering if anyone stopped by the North Hollywood location recently to see if it reopened. Channel 7 did a news story about all the legal cannabis business in Los Angeles. I’ll post a link to the site. I don’t see IGOT420 on there. I’m assuming they never got an approved license and had to shut down.

At this point it’s nearly impossible for Hemp legalization to not be included in the Farm Bill. At some point this stock is going to go on a massive run, it just all depends on how quick that bill gets passed and signed.
