Agree...Gold and Silver have only just started to react to all the money printing. The question is how quickly will it rise to 2500 & 50
Must be a wall of orders at .85....It just won't correct to that point.
AXU is doing just fine....I hear Zolly screaming.
Odd that this is only up 5% when most of the miners are up 6 to 10%. Its' about to have a large increase in production and should be much higher.
--Bet Zolly goes of today as it is a given that he gets a margin call on his short position.
Set your chart interval to 15 minutes and look at the Bollinger Bands....We should have bought more.
15 minute interval chart says we blast off on Monday. Look at those Bollinger Bands!
The Chart when run using 15 minute interval shows that the Bollinger Bands are as tight as I've ever seen. Looks to have a huge run up on Monday.
Run your chart with an hourly interval and you will see we have had a 50% retrace from the absolute high and the Bollinger Bands a now compressed.
This next week we have 'BLAST OFF'...Likely to see something around 5.00.
Bought some more shares a few minutes ago. This is a screaming deal!
---If someone was willing to buy 11 million shares at 2.73, then it is 100% this will go up in the near future
If silver goes down, Hecla will follow. A fifty cent pull back is nothing. Silver will continue up with gold as gold is heading for 2,000. ...If it went strait up, everyone would be in it.
Bought this over a year ago at 2.33 thinking that strike would end a bit sooner than it did. I'm not leaving until we have Lucky Friday in full production for one quarter.
Due to the Union stopping Lucky Friday ore shipments the last months of the strike, there will be a good increase in silver production. Gold will be down because of Canada Covid 19 shutdown....My guess is earnings will increase slightly mostly due to the rise in PM prices. The third quarter will be 'Killer'...JMO
Your thought about the MM wanting to fill the gap might be. My thought is that someone big is wanting more shares as they were unwilling to stay short overnight.....A Huge Move may be in the works.
In 1981, Sunshine Mining bought 370,206 shares of Hecla. This was slightly more than 5% of the entire company. How things are about to change!
Bet you that we see some 'Brokerage' go under soon. Between the squeeze at the Comex and the short sellers being creamed, someone will go down. Most commercials are net short on the metals.
Hecla being noticed this morning. Price should be much higher based on increased value of reserves, but no one listens to me. (10.00 to 11.00)
FWIW....Eric Sprott owns several million shares of AXU.
Kaplin bought the Sunshine mine for 24 million, so some sort of net smelter deal and 36 million would seem to make sense.
Silver hitting 22 this evening. At these prices they would only need to wait a couple of months and the added revenue from the net increase in price would cover the 36 million....Alas Phil won't listen to me.
Silver looks to break 22 now! Gold at 1850....Going to be one heck of an open tomorrow.
Silver hitting 22 and gold at 1850....Shorts to feel great pain in the morning as price walks to 25.00 and 1900.00
Might be that mine up the road (Fire) or New Jersey.
Isn't it about the time when Hecla sends out the 'pre earnings letter?'
There was a pullback of about ten cents and it was met with more buying.
Gold moving up also, so it looks to be a flight to safe money with respect to what is now unlimited printing. Sprot may have plugged the escape hatch at the Comex, and this will be very interesting.
Yea!.... I'm taking the slow road....wish I had bought more, but I'm 100% increase in my only four stocks. (All miners -GPL killing it these past two days) Been waiting about a year for this.
There might be some pullbacks but it won't be much. The effect of the rising silver price will hit next quarter with Lucky Friday Mine production coming back online.
Hecla stock price has been lagging but they have solid production. At some point the 'Phil Effect' will be negated.
Dang,,,Not a single cheerleader here. Darn great day!
Ha,,,Zolly wrong,Eric right.
With silver at or above 20.00, Hecla net earnings will be really great next quarter. Why would you sell those calls, or were they short term?
- Gold above 18 implies 25 silver.
I'm seeing the shorts still sitting at 12.43 million shares.....How much pain can they take?
Just wait til this starts trading at four times book value, like so many other miners. (About $14.00)
One year target is $9.00 ....See for yourself on Yahoo
Hecla has wings. I would expect to see the stock upgraded some more.
(Shorts must be feeling it today!)
interesting that when one looks at similar priced mining stocks, our AXU is only slightly down. There is an implied accumulation happening.
Over at the Yahoo AXU board, Zolly is on a rant again. Must have got another margin call on his short position.....I'm guessing he drinks a little.
LOL...They issued 30 million shares about a month ago. Obviously some of those are hitting the market, or this would already be 1.00
Hecla seems very under valued when one looks at other stocks like GFI and AG. Just saying
Looks like there is some short covering as AXU price was up on the open while everything else was down....As more people look to the PMs, this gem will be found out.
Nice close. Very overdue!....Would likely be much higher like GFI if Phil wasn't so hated.
Ol Zolly on the Yahoo AXU thread must have received another margin call. Shorts are being squeezed.
Not much of a pull back. Must be a whole bunch of limit orders in the high fifty cent range.....Bottom feeders!
Might there be some short covering this morning? A great many of the shorting hedge funds have been loosing money as of late.
