Ended with 15k shares, nearly the 10 day average, almost all of them traded at or near $5. I can get behind that action
Spread tightened up considerably. Ideally, we'd like to see that all the time and not 50 cents to $1.00
Ah. I did notice my Td app was excruciatingly slow. I didn't know it was several were down
Id like to see more volume than this, but, virtually all of the shares traded today has been at $5. So while it's weak, it is a small level of support
Pre market is pretty interesting today
Exactly how I feel too. :D. I had a bunch of shares when this stock was still Canfiekd, then I bought a bunch more when the merger was announced. So I'm just sitting tight and waiting.
I rarely short stocks anyway. But I couldn't imagine shorting a brand new low volume one like this.
Shorts are basically youre borrowing against the value of your holdings betting that the price will go down so you can acquire more shares at a lower price.
Since youre shorting on the margins like that, if the stock price goes up too much, you can get a margin call, where you have to either sell some other stocks, add more money to your account, or buy more of the shorted stock to cover the margin call.
A short squeeze is where the stock price never decreased to cover the shorts and so the short sellers must now buy more stock in order to cover the margin call.
If you're just holding and trading normally, a short squeeze is a good thing for you. If you're trying to short the stock (which I think is foolish since we've only been trading for a month and no trends have developed), then its a bad thing for you
Thanks for posting that. I wouldn't have guessed there was so much shorting going on, but a squeeze would be good for me as none of my shares are shorts. So someone else's bad guess is my gain. LOL
I feel as if we'll have light days today and tomorrow and a bigger day on Monday.
Hello everyone. I'd like to make some purchases soon, and $5 SBEV just isn't quite cutting it for me. If all of you could convince your friends to buy this thing up a couple extra dollars, that would be fabulous. Thaaaaanks!
LOL
Definitely. We're still screwing around in the minor leagues right now.
I'm with you there
Certainly has been. The volume isn't quite where I'd like it yet, but we're seeing nice increases. Price is nice, ideally I'd like to see associated volume of around 80-100k daily.
My average is around 38 cents. So, $4, $6, I'm havin whiskey either way. Lol
Quite the stalemate.
It would be. Not saying we'll have to this time, but we may be waiting for a little while. Canfield Medical entered into a letter of intent with Splash Beverage in October of 2019, and the merger was finalized in April of this year. It would be reasonable then to expect at least a couple months, or even up to 6.
Just shy of 40,000 shares. Not too shabby.
Based only on my gut feeling, I felt like it would take a month at least before we started seeing desirable volume
Finally some volume today. This is still chump change territory, but until we consistently see more volume than this every day, it won't matter what the price is
My #SBEV morning includes a little Tony Toni Tone!
I'm hoping the FOMO kicks in soon and we see some hopping on. I'm digging today's action. Ive had a bunch of Canfield shares I've been sitting on for a few years
That number isn't accurate. They authorized 50 million more shares just a couple weeks after that date you posted.
Um, thanks. I'm familiar with the company at this point.
Hopefully we see some good volume today. The 0.64 bid price was detrimental to us yesterday. Some of these guys are gonna have to get over the idea that getting in a 64 is even possible anymore.
Spread is way too wide. Some of these buyers are going to have to accept they're not getting in at 64 cents. LOL
Volume coming up every day is the most important thing. 200 shares Friday, 1000 Monday, 3200 yesterday, 11,400+ today. Price is secondary until the flippers and traders can start making money
Without any volume it doesn't matter what the price is. We need normal trading volume before we worry about anything else
Slight upticks in volume every day. We're still in the chump change region by far, but I like the gradual build like this rather than an extreme rush. As more shares start exchanging hands, we'll be able to flip and trade as normal, and any price increases will be sustainable by normal trading volume. In a couple weeks at this rate, hopefully we'll be in the 10s of thousands of shares being regularly traded every day.
Um. Thanks. I'm familiar with the company at this point
@SplashBev made their first tweet today, and it was about the FINRA approval of the name and ticker change. They only have 10 followers cirrently, but getting the word out begins.
Another 200,000 share day. I'm liking this churning of shares at the low prices.
I picked up a few today, I'm trying to amass a bigger position over the next month
Yup. Thanks to the Hastert Rule and Mitch McConnell declaring himself "the grim reaper" of non-republican bills, no democrat sponsored bill will come to a floor vote.
I'd like to see the volume pick up, regardless of what the price does. We had 200 shares on Friday, and before that, one of the "biggest" days we had in recent times before the ticker change was 1000 shares. Price increases on very low volume aren't sustainable, so ideally we'd need people to be flipping and churning shares over so any increase in price is stable.
They authorized 50 million more shares later that month.
Still, even with the additional shares, its a good float
I agree. I loooooove the share structure. Its very similar to another stock I have that went absolutely nuts a few years ago.
It is. This is just my gut feeling, but I figure we'll see some upward movement gradually over the next month or so. Now that the ticker has changed, the company can actually let investors know there's a stock to trade and all that. No idea what that upward movement will bring, but I've been hoping for $3 or so.
Awesome! Thanks for posting that link
Oh, so the 2 month old ones we already knew about
Charges = shares. Lol. Dang phones
Several days of around 200,000 shares exchanging hands. Looks like we're on track for that again today. While it's not explosive volume, it's MUCH higher than previous times we've been in the doldrums. Seems like a low rumbling to me, as the interest in higher prices isn't there yet, but the interest in cheap charges certainly is
