I'm right there with ya. It's rare I get this excited for stuff.
I'm good with this consolidating. Nice strong base built up here in the mid 4s, lets people take some profits and consider the future. Then going from 5 to 10 just isn't as big of a deal.
Oh no, I'm not worried a single bit. I just imagine some dimly lit conference room, and one guy pulls a cigar out of his mouth and says, "We're gonna short the shit out of it today..."
I'm sure you can tell by now I've never been anywhere near wall street. :D
I don't have any stop loss orders, but someone recently on one of the Ihub boards talked about it as a raid on accounts and I thought it was hilarious to put it like that.
Nice day, gents. Things are about to get wild.
Nice, steady climb back up. I love CANN, so damn much
It's been 20 minutes. Take it easy Brotato. Even if it does close down a bit, that's perfectly natural for CANN after testing a new high
you go about this as if every peak is the final one. As if, for some reason it's just going to stop here forever and whatever the last high was is the last we'll ever see. Nothing is ever good, everything is a bad move, etc.
Like i said earlier, you're a reverse Stockzoom, and that's it.
So, uh, I've been drinking since about noon. Cheers, fuckers.
I think you don't know what "hate" is. Your input means as little to me as my cat's opinions on stocks. Every forum has one, this one has two, and you're one of them.
Here's my theme song today.
Down payment on his new house perhaps. Or maybe he's throwing a ridiculous sweet 16 for his daughter. Personally, i don't see anything wrong with selling at this price point
Look at that volume! Just two hours in!
Holy $$$$hit
Virtually all of my experience is on the APO side of investing, so I'd just have a stock, forget about it for a while, then sell it later. :D So, disclaimer, I'm not the chart/trend guy some of you are.
But from the beginning of this run from below a buck, I've always felt like $10-$12 on election day is the number. I think it's highly probable that we get hit with some awesome quarterly, then a short time after that, here comes the news of the acquisition. I know they've got that money earmarked already, but, sometimes these deals take time, even if it's a slam dunk. I think an announcement before the election, while awesome, is unlikely due to the time it takes to close on these things.
After the election I'd think there'd be a bit of a slow growth period before the really explosive stuff happens. In 2014, Amendment 64 went into effect in January, and it was some months later that CANN really went nuts, even though there was increased activity immediately.
Of course, I'm basing all of this on the previous MJ explosion, and this one is far greater than that in a number of significant ways. Back then it was this new, novel concept. So one could easily make the case that $20 is on the table the week of the election and there's plenty of arguments to back that. Conservatively speaking though (which kills me because I'm totally a count my money already kind of guy), I feel $10 soon, $30+ later. :D
Good advice, and I've got my price intervals laid out already. :D
$8-$10 is just where it starts for me. Increasing levels from there would just produce a metric shit ton of money, where I was originally in this thing to make a ludicrous amount.
$8 is actually the magic number for me. :D When I loaded this stock originally, I wanted a conservative goal just in case. So the life altering amount of money for me begins there. $10 is my Feelin' really really good beyond that goal, and anything on top of that.... I just can't even describe it. You hear stories from some older guys about that one big chance they had back in their day. It's a hell of a lot of fun being in the middle of what might be OUR shining opportunity to make a shit ton of money and walk away, perhaps to freedom, forever.
I hope it's a repeat of last time. We hit $4.20 one day, and were at $4.70 almost immediately the next.
I love this stock. Like, so, so much. :D
Seems like all the most useless posters love saying, "Timber" as much as possible. I'm fairly new around here, but I've already gathered that if a new name pops up saying, "timber" et cetera, there's no need to take them seriously.
They're angry they've missed the rise from $0.80 to $4.70.
I think next year $30+ is on the table. A jump to the previous 2014 high would be beyond any of my hopes and dreams, and I'd probably have a 2 week long sexy party with the wife and a few of her cute friends. :D.
I'm no good at predicting prices really, but my gut tells me that lots of money is going to flow into CANN with those dizzying highs in mind. As someone else mentioned recently, that all occurred when legal MJ was still this new and scary concept. Still very recently, I read articles talking about "Colorado's great experiment," as if this isn't a permanent shift in public opinion. The votes next month will solidify it in everyone's mind that this is real, as finally a small majority of states will have legal MJ in some capacity. This is round 2, and we're on much firmer footing.
So there's my prediction... open ended and vague, $30+ :D
You mean to tell me that the people making the decisions behind these multi-million dollar firms DON'T follow Stockplooza?! I'm absolutely shocked!
She went up into the 60s. A great many of us are right there with ya, Lloyd.
We're presented with but a few of these shining opportunities in our lives, and CANN was kind enough to come around twice in such a short time.
I think CA will definitely legalize. Even if all 9 states don't vote yes, greater than 50% of the union will have legal MJ in some capacity. There's no stopping the train, and we're all here ready to cash in.
We need to turn CANN up to 11.
You're jamming on that price, and you need that extra little push.
Feels like a rum kind of night. See you weirdos Monday!
Good call. :D. At least you didn't put Timber in giant letters or anything.
Takes a bit for the scared cats to regain their composure. :D. One comes out from hiding, then another, then another. Some will remain under the bed for a while, but by the time they come out, all that tuna may be gone. Enjoy your scraps. :D
Logically, i figured on the mid-high 3s. Emotionally I was REALLY hoping for 4.70. I wanted to shove the recovery up a couple people's asses. Tee hee. Guess I'll have to do it next week. :D
Well... you're no longer the moderator and were one of the first ones to bail, citing "too much heat." ;) It was disappointing to see how quickly you jumped, as I had been reading your posts since the grey sheets.
I agree. It'll take a couple days to come all the way back, but we're on the way. :D
THAT was the promotion?! Good lord. I hope everyone who was part of the panic yesterday misses the opportunity to get back in. Easily some of the dumbest stuff I've ever seen
Mornin gents!!!!! Let's do dis.
Or, as a famous friend of mine would say:
LEEEEEEEEEROY JEEEEEEEEENKINS!!!!!!
Over a panic caused by nothing. A press release about some supposed flier that no one saw. This wasn't anything to do with the company, it only revealed who around here is scared of their own shadows.
I think my favorite part is the people who come out of the wood work to proclaim gloom and doom. LOL. "The end is nigh!!!! Sinners will be punished! REPENT!!!"
Scroll through the posts today and there are names we haven't seen in here in weeks, if ever. We have one down day and here's all these twats talking about how horrible it is. If I weren't lazy, I'd scroll back to 2014 for some of the waves and see if it was the same story.
Hilarity.
Sleek isn't a company officer. Lots of people vacated because it apparently takes nothing at all to make people panic. :D.
Even if it was a large holding, some of those shares were picked up by me and others.
As I've mentioned a few times recently, this is nothing compared to 2014. The things that made CANN rise to this level still exist, they dont need Sleek's approval, and 25k shares by one company officer is not a dump.
LOL. The amount of shares sold by ONE company officer is hardly "a dump." At market prices it was 100k or less. That's chump change, and he still has plenty of shares left. So do the other company officers. You're saying they somehow drove the prices up, then only allowed one guy to make a little money at the end of it? Yeah. Right. Apply even a little logic to your idea and you see how stupid it is.
We get it, you're scared of this stock. It's ok, lots of other people are scared too. But if you're that terrified of it, just go be so somewhere else.
In 2014, this thing went from $4 to $10 to $4, before shooting up to $22, then coming down to $14.
Today means squat.
Agreed. One down day is all it takes? This is nothing compared to 2014. The waves were gigantic.
