Another planet, more likely. I never have the faintest idea what he's trying to say. I suspect that other True Longs only pretend they understand.
if you must attack someone's spelling, grammar, etc., please go to RB and review gatekeeper's posts. I sometimes wonder if he is from another country.
I didn't.
who here didn't lose money on a PCBM wager? eom
I don't remember the details, but if you want the whole story, you can find it on the SI GRNO thread, and probably on Jeff Mitchell's Investment Chat Board Lawsuits thread.
BTW, he never admitted to it until much later. Too bad the facts seem to be lost forever.
Or you could just ask Ron. He still posts there.
More on Ron Reece:
I didn't mean to imply that he was a horrible person, if that's what anyone thought. He was just excessively (and, far as GRNO was concerned, mistakenly) enthusiastic. He didn't realize he was doing anything wrong.
I like the guy. He was upfront about his difficulties and didn't try to blame someone else for them. But his experience did have one result; now he's mostly a "basher".
Carraway and O’Brien encouraged Reece to publish positive information about the company in numerous Internet news group messages he wrote and in an electronic newsletter he published about the company. In his publications, Reece claimed to be merely an interested investor and denied receiving any consideration from the company. In fact, the company gave Reece a valuable discount on his purchase of the company’s securities and paid his travel expenses, all of which he failed to disclose in his publications.
lol, I do! Chickenman was great.
do you remember chickenman? "he's everywhere, he's everywhere".
I don't think so.
That would not necessarily make him a paid tout. I believe the SEC would have a tough time making the case.
About five years ago an SI poster called Ron Reece enthusiastically pumped GRNO. He, too, got an airline ticket, and, I think, some computer equipment.
The SEC sued him, and he settled for a $12,000 fine and a promise never to do it again.
Yup.
you are talking about a very intelligent person... he invented some viscosity gadget ... do you think it's easy to fool someone like that?
Intelligent people are just as easy to con as stupid people. You just have to use a different pitch. Doctors, for example, are notorious suckers.
Scandle said quite recently that Liz wasn't a dancer, and also that he'd talked to "her" on the phone a number of times. He added that "she" has a lot of time to spend on the boards because of "family problems".
He was also very careful never to use a pronoun when talking about her. She was either "Liz" or "the poster". That makes me think that "she" is indeed a "he", as many believe.
you are quite the communicator! i missed the thread where liz indicated she wasn't a dancer. did she indicate another vocation? ;)
lol...
I guess what I am getting at is who could or would do such a thing to so many people?
Greedheads. You guys aren't "people" to them. You're "marks".
If this was a scam, would the SEC FBI etc. allow it to keep taking place?
Yes. They haven't yet done anything about INOV, nor about the former CSUO, which has changed ticker four times in about four months. They gave PCBM investors fair warning when they suspended trading.
I WANT MULTIPLE HOUSES!!
snicker...jmc to the life, I'm sure.
snicker...
Mountain lions don't eat bugs.
Until you die of Mercury poisoning.
Seafood is another healthy food.
Bats are waaayyyy cool.
hmmm...
I just checked my 3 accounts that have PCBM and they are all stating that the value is zero? One of my accounts has said that before but never all three.
When was the last time you checked them?
Also, in one of them instead of the ticker symbol being there, it has the entire name spelled out.
Did something happen to "officially" make this over????
Not as far as anyone knows. But...when a stock's registration is pulled, I think that's what happens. I know account statements show zero as the value (see the CGYC thread).
If that's what's about to happen, though (along with an SEC settlement) then it should happen on Monday; they can't do this stuff in advance.
LOL!! Very good!!
No. It's conventional for either party to draw up an Order they'd like the judge to sign when they're filing a document that requests a decision.
Is this a final settlement of the court??
LOL!! So THAT's what kind of surgery it was.
I remember back then they were discussing a tough surgery he needed...
Poor poor Mr Lobster. Oh, the SUFFERING he must have endured. He must also have been very fat. They don't even consider doing that operation unless you're huge, and you've tried everything else.
All irrelevant.
I like their slogan.. the quicker picker upper.. Far better than scrubbing circles.. IMO
The cutting edge technology is WIPES. We have "floor wipes", "dish wipes", "toilet bowl wipes", and no doubt many other kinds of wipes I'm unaware of.
Time to forget paper towels. Dinosaurs.
Yes. For some reason the original poster thought it'd be fun to change the date. There's no new litigation release.
LOL!! I'll remember that the next time I get Nigerian spam.
What?? The agent's brokerage sold his PCBM stock to pay inactivity fees and closed the account.
Of COURSE he lost money.
How else would the agent have heard about PCBM? Sure there are other ways, but it's logical to assume that Alan was his source of information.
I agree. The "agent" should take responsibility for his actions. But if Alan touted it to him as a "sure thing" that would result in millions, and multiple dividends as well, I think he should feel bad about it.
I once recommended a stock to a friend, and we both lost. I felt guilty, and never offered anyone any stock picks again.
I had another take on those posts about Alan's agent. He didn't seem either concerned or embarrassed that he'd caused the guy to lose money.
I think that's weird.
He really is delusional.
Not one person who has posted here can say they have been correct so far...
Many of us have been entirely correct for YEARS.
lol, I think so too. After all these years, he'll go nuts if he can't fiddle with his sharecount every day.
My bet is Alan coughs up the $500 to buy the database. lol.
He's not Hans. Check his profile.

AlanC. If you find someone that wants to host the sharecount, take up a collection. I'll sell them all the links/database for $500. Might as well try to get something out of this. Thanks for all your efforts, but I believe the fat lady has warbled her little heart out on this one...........z

Hans is far more intelligent than AlanC.
Check Paulie's latest. Especially good!
I'm also amazed that he doesn't seem to understand why Mr Lobster had to give the 2 billion shares back.
This has gotta be willful obtuseness.
hmmmm...maybe I should read the whole thing, but...radio strippers??
Never mind that. Why $93? What an odd figure...
Nice handle.
lol, I wondered what those deleted posts were. He seems extremely agitated of late. I wonder what the deal is with "Lorenzo".
lol, yet another valedictory post by Slurpall*n. Is anyone keeping count?
JUST WANT TO SET A FEW THINGS STRAIGHT, THEN WE ARE OUT OF HERE FOR GOOD, AND ONLY CAME BACK TO POINT OUT THE LIARS,MANIPULATORS,SMALL TIME CHIP MONK R CHURCH SHORTERS, AND BSers.

Here's an article that should be read by anyone who plays the pennies, and especially by those who believe they're an "investment".
