Wasn't Ted supposed to be working to remove the stop sign? And as long as that's there, would any serious brewery, like Nine Band, really want to partner up with a "Dark or Defunct" business?
This self-created "hurdle" means we're doubly dead in the water.
Wish someone here had an actual real connection to Ted to find out & report WTF he's doing. Sadly, based on years of watching this board, no one does, and by all appearances, whatever Ted is doing, it definitely ain't running a beer company.
Big Pharma must not be ready for it yet.
Fascinating discussion here, one of the 0.3% that seem to genuinely be perspective based rather than the 99.7% that are just pump or bash.
One clarification - the hierarchy of decision control is:
-Big Pharma
-Congress
-FDA
No hoops - isolate, full spectrum or otherwise - will be jumped through without the consent and profit motive of Big Pharma. It is money that is determinate, not science, logic or public health.
Can Nine Band (assuming we ever consummate a deal) produce seltzer? Major Hemp Seltzer?
https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/19/business/bud-light-seltzer-sales/index.html
We need to try something to keep the tasting notes going. Hell, maybe even move the pps up. Ted?
The 2021 fiscal year starts Oct 1, 2020. Assuming that:
a) FDA will not/cannot move to clarify before it gets these funds
b) FDA will move promptly once it does have targeted funds
is there any chance we'll see some clarification progress this calendar year?
My poor boy. Is there any on-going legal action involving DiPrima & Co vs Riedel & Co?
Dear Marco Alfonsi, Ryan Medico, Ted Jorgensen, James Diprima,
Would at least one of you pennyland titans please actually succeed, preferably soon?
You do realize these reviews are a two edged sword:
- the beer apparently tastes good which is great news
- there are still beers available in February from a small run last September which means it is not selling very fast which is not great news
Praying TX happens soon and better.
LOL Miracles, yes; PAOG mgmt, not so much!
But might as well keep an open mind...happy to be surprised ;)
To manage what?
I appreciate the insights shared.
However, taking the statements at face value:
"It's difficult for a company with a $0.01 stock price to raise any money. ...growing [is] going to a lot harder on the OTC than NASDAQ."
...kinda makes the whole idea of OTC penny stocks seem entirely pointless.
Quote: " potential for share buyback and retirement"
Yeah, let's do that...sounds much better than this RS debacle...
The remaining Church Street MH brewskies, like the last coins from a mint no longer producing them, might become collectors items.
Tasting notes might give way to breweriana notes.
Quote: " the total value of the stock held by an investor will not change after a reverse stock split"
...but the chance of pennyland style huge percentage gains definitely WILL change - it will disappear.
Buy gobs. On the ask. ;)
9? What is the compensation rate in preferred shares per post?
Once again, there is no answer from those who talk up this stock - no reasons offered on why a 1:300 RS is supposed to be good for holders of common shares (ie, the type reported on this board).
Maybe because there are no such reasons...
Well, you're in tune with the Prez - he got it wrong, also - the Chiefs home is Missouri, not Kansas:
https://www.foxnews.com/us/trump-mistakenly-congratulates-kansas-city-kan-on-its-super-bowl-win
That's no big deal, probably most, including me, thought the same.
But...c'mon makin hoorah over year old news of false starts by trying to connect it to KC's win?
If and when the company's plans, almost entirely focused on TX now, start coming true, I'll celebrate current news with you.
From a potential pps % increase point if view, what is the benefit of a 1:300 RS?
From present pps range, a 10x increase is a reasonable prospect. But at $4 it is VERY unlikely to go to $40.
This question has been asked a few times here by myself and others and never received an answer: What is supposed to be so great about this pending RS for the retail investor?
Those with preferred, non-split shares will improve mightily. Apparently at the expense of holders of common shares.
Poised to take off? So is every little kid pretending to be superman...
Great news!
This link provides further background:
https://www.texasagriculture.gov/RegulatoryPrograms/Hemp.aspx
Two things to note:
1) the bill legalizing hemp includes cbd
"June 10, 2019, House Bill 1325, was signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott. The bill authorizes the production, manufacture, retail sale, and inspection of industrial hemp crops and products in Texas. This also includes products for consumable hemp products which contain cannabidiol (CBD), as well as other edible parts of the hemp plant."
2) there is an image of dominoes falling at that link showing licensing estimated to begin "early 2020".
Sadly, that has been the best advice for the last 3 years...
Quote: "Buy and Forget for next 6 months"
Wish we could lose 37.4% and get to $7.57...before RS! LOL
I envy you. If I ever get back to even or better, I will also get out of the penny market tar pit.
Aye, tis grand to spy the sails filling with a favorable wind, matey!
I calls em as I sees em. And the only blind faith I have is not vested in anything of this world. Still a ways to go but glad to see a confirmation of effort. Remain long, have sold nothing.
Glad to see an update with both an honest acknowledgment of the issue behind what appeared to be cessation of operations:
"the Company experienced hurdles with distribution in the third and fourth quarters of 2019 as its primary distributor, B&D Syndicate (formerly Wein-Bauer) unexpectantly went out of business"
...and outlook for ongoing activities:
"The Company has nearly completed the process for acquiring approval from the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC) to begin brewing and distribution of Major Hemp HIPA in Texas with its Texas based brewing partner, Nine Band Brewing."
Take this as welcomed indication that Ted's health is OK.
Check with Church Street Brewing. Depending on travel plans, might also check for availability at locations along the way. Hope you find one - would love to hear your take plus report on conversation with purveyor on their opinion.
I really wish CSB and Nine Band and a few more were saturating all the states where we already have licenses and they couldn't keep up with demand.
And Ted would speak.
And TX and CA and CBD and Mitch and the Moon.
But...sad truth is, right now NONE of that is true.
And so we watch - hope in one hand, current facts in the other, waiting on the day those two come together in a joyous clap of celebration! Until then, where the fook is Ted?
You should contact:
Jace Rhea
Sales Director
Church Street Brewing
...and ask him why he lied, saying their last production of SIPC beer was in Sept 2019 and there are no plans to produce more.
Can't figure a guy like that...saying the beer has not been produced in months when there are a dozen tasting reviews a month saying how great it tastes. Maybe you can explain to him that if he would just read the reviews (and posters on this board) he would KNOW beer MUST be being made (even though his company says not) because...well just because! Right?
A picture is worth 1000 words...you've just presented Salami IPA Theory Mania in two panels!
Quote: "I was sure we had a decent one here"
I've concluded I have zero ability to pick a decent one...if such a thing actually exists.
And, yeah, one of the things that originally appealed to me here was the good it could do helping restore lives. Doubly sad.
Puzzling that Tew would allow such an utterly disgraceful failure to be tied to his name without even a whimper of effort to salvage.
The OTC tar pit has to be one of the best things ever invented for crooks & scammers - no matter how many people get scammed or how many times repeat scammers run some scheme, there literally are no consequences for the perpetrators. If one's own conscience does not inhibit bad faith actions there is no other restraint; evil has carte blanche.
On this topic, Monroe1, I owe you an apology. I should have been more charitable and not so judgmental over attempted humor. I'm sorry.
Thank you for reminding us of what's important.
Thank you ZZ for link, I made a donation.
It would be cool if SipDoG (Sippies Doing Good) was one of the listed organizations.
EDGAR vs OTC?
EDGAR = Not yet
OTC = toast

The truth?
Well, the scoreboard does not reflect the connection but I admire the tenacity, anyway.
Be GREAT if the wonderful taste translated into profits which translated into higher pps.
That has been said here many times by many posters for many months.
Maybe it's true in Oz...but back here in Kansas, not so much.
Maybe the secret to future moonness is not CBD or TX or CA or legislation but moving the whole operation to Oz. What we need is a good tornado!
Sigh. There is almost no selling.
Therefore there is almost no revenue.
Therefore there is no profit.
Therefore there is no production.
Therefore there is nothing to report.
Therefore there is no reporting.
Therefore the yield sign.
Therefore there is [almost] no investor interest.
Therefore the pps is down 80-90%.
All this, knowledgeable insight attributes to lack of sales force, or, as posted here elsewhere, lack of proper push. And no legislation is going provide that needed ability to push.
And, gee, I wish the happy talk was true instead...
