Any progress on the Dutch end?
All the postings look like Hyzon is alive and producing. Congratulations to Mr. Meeks.
Thanks
The filings do show progress with the Hyzon Europe negotiations to cancel the one deal. Money in escrow, terms, end date, etc.
Holthausen now has an end date, with some wiggle room for an extension. Imho, the EU is going to have a tough few months ahead. Both Hyzon and Holthausen may not want to delay a deal in the likely economic environment. Europe needs the alternative fuel vehicles. Will HYZN build a rental fleet?
Just guessing, but the revised financials that are forthcoming will include the China truck sale in some form or other. Hopefully, payment will be made, terms negotiated, and all parties satisfied.
Fyi, the Party Congress meets mid October. Many will be focussed on leadership and policy decisions looking forward. China also needs a fleet of hydrogen trucks, etc.
Yes. Exposure and presence at epimpirtant events continue.
Re buying. Maybe just add at intervals. Recent trading is in a fairly tight range. I want to see something substantive other than daily pps girations before adding more.
There are numerous job openings for Hyzn. Last listed within a day or do.
The forward outlook and esp. Vv Holthausen or another company to augment European production will have an impact on pps. Why do you expect changes in the financials?
Short interest lower a/o 9/15
Yes, I know about the scare tactics and general stupidity that accompanies startups in new industries. I am simply whining about the lack of any information from the company as to current ops and so forth.
I really am monumentally bored with the silence from IR. The logic implied by silence is they don't want incremental announcements. The Holthausen purchase and the accounting stuff will be concluded shortly, barring anything not previously announced. Imho, IR can do better than this.
Yup. I am also aware of other companies like Plug and Nkla that went through similar grinds.
Well, my apologies. aargh.
Are the Illinois factory in operation now? I am so very bored with waiting for this accounting thing to be resokved.
Tks. Had not seen the deliveries mentioned before. Relatively recent.
The link is on yahoo finance conversations. I can't cut & paste. Sorry.
News posted at yahoo. 3 vehicles delivered today. There is life.
I don't know why Knight left the company. I would not be surprised if he burned out from the combined burdens of going public, travel, sales, running the company, etc.
They need to update the participant photo. Blurry and obe.
Thanks for the updates.
Is the date feasible?
Good only if he doesn"t get spread too thin to mind the store.
Thanks.
Totally agree!
Thanks.
There is something on the yahoo board that the new Ceo is to present shortly at a Road to Zero conference. Not mentioned on the company website. Do you know anything about this?
Is Saudi plant is under construction now? I saw articles that would begin last April. Not delayed, I hope. It will be a huge project.
what is your question?
Yup. Thanks.
I am looking forward to more constructive announcements this week.
The China thing ... Is there litigation pending? Can the vehicles be repossessed and resold or rented? I don't know how that situation has evolved.
More/as important vis a vis qualifying for purchase orders and grants will be when key manufacturing plants are equipped, staffed, and supplied, and vehicles are made/delivered.
What was the division of labor betwern Holthausen and the EU plant? New vehicles vs converting existing inventory?
Hyzon isn't letting weeds sprout under their toes. That's certain.
Cheers.
Well, the DOT represents an opportunity. Hopefully The sales folks will have taken note. It is a tiered competition, I think. My county partcipated and won the grant, but now i think they have to put it out for bid to implement. Presumably, it will be the same for other jurisdictions.
Is the Illinois plant in production? I saw an article that some counties are competing for DOT grants to buy hydrogen busses and build a fueling station.
The faster the problems are resolved, the better for the company and investors.
I figure we have a few more key leadership changes coming.
Non executive chairman in advisory role for r&d.
So, who will take on his former role of executive Chairman. Am I missing some nuance?
Who replaces Gu as Chairman of the board.
Well, this too shall pass. The Board is acting responsibly and quickly. A lot has been accomplished, and with the view that production will start/pick up in the coming month and year, i will hold and perhaps add once the Euopean side looks like it will be positively resolved.
This Holthausen ad/article is a strong statement. It adds to the atmosphere of mixed messages. Might it be that Hyzon has qualms?
I would like to point out that the Yahoo board is quoting sources that Japanese and Korean entities are buying stakes in Hyzn.

That filing confirms whst we suspected and already knew. There was an issue with a sale in China. Paperwork, albeit important. It does not say there is a problem elsewhere.
Where did you find that Holthausen renegged? Nothing I have seen indicated which side of that transaction backed awsy.
Chica, when things like this happen, it is easy to go down the proverbial rabbit hole. I still think we will be ok, as the issues can and will be resolved.
Goodness. Hyzon likely needs a streamlined strategy, an organizational redesign, and more staff -- not just management level. The alt energy monies from the government won't be available instantly. I am guessing year end at the very earliest. There is a little time for Hyzon to clarify all of the issues.
There are alternatives to Holthausen out there.
I am waiting to see what emerges from this. Some is old news that the new financial fellow apparently wants to resolve. Imho, likely a write down of deferred income.
KPMG is a leading, international auditing firm. They should be able to advise/guide through this.
The Holthausen thing is not unheard of elsewhere, but the lack of details isn't helpful esp. to retail investors like us. It is inconvenient, to say the least. I do like the Board getting involved.
Hopefully, we will see a near term conclusion favorable to investors.
Thanks.
It is generally regarded as a positive when the number of institutiona! Investors grow and there is an increasing number of shares held by that class of shareholders.
