What windbag said
That disparity has been due to AVH generally leading the way. They led on the way down and have pretty much led on the way back up. But the volume there has been half to a third of what it was before redomicile. Meaning it's mostly been retail.
Windbag, something about some kind of minds thinking alike, lol.
AVH x AUD/USD x 5 = RCEL:
7.70 x 0.7319 x 5 = 28.18
Reverse:
RCEL ÷ 0.7319 ÷ 5 = AVH
28.45 ÷ 0.7319 ÷ 5 = 7.77
AUD/USD is current currency conversion ratio
5 AVH CDI'S equal 1 RCEL share
We seem to be playing leap frog with the Aussie's at the moment.
AVH 7.57 equates to RCEL 27.70, so fairly close to current 27.78. 2 hours to go.
Jugs, Google "Australian Financial Review Avita Medical" for an article about Avita's vitiglo treatment published yesterday. Courtesy of a poster on Hot Copper.
Thanks Fmello, memory not what it used be but only off 50k, not too bad.
I believe TAM for vitiglo is about 650mm, larger than burns.
10-K was submitted to SEC and can be accessed on EDGAR. They actually weren't required to submit to SEC since they were still an Australian company as of June 30th 2020, end of their fiscal year. This quarter's 10-Q will be the first required SEC filing. Hope that helps.
AVH is at 7.43 in Australia at the moment, which would equate to 29 for RCEL in the US.
Might just be someone trying to mess with Australian short sellers.
If today's action on above average volume in an overall down market isn't an indicator of an uptrend not sure what would be.
Appear to be a lot of people here and in Australia that don't seem to grasp how time consuming and expensive the FDA approval process is. They have 3 trials going and are still in initial launch phase of their 1st approved product. The quicker they drive the top line with new applications the sooner that will filter down to the bottom line. Keep in mind, patents don't last forever.
I believe the last 2 days have seen the highest single day volumes in RCEL (previously AVMXY) since I started looking at this over two years ago. Don't remember any 1.5 million share days pre-split which is what these equate to. Good sign as far as I'm concerned. We need US institutional buyers.
Like I said, nuance is sometimes hard to decipher. Doubt we'll even get much rain here in Katy. Feel for those in Lake Charles environs.
Jugs, negotiating the nuance of satire in posts can be difficult, but I took Fmello's post as more of a shot at the other named poster in his message. Sure Fmello will clarify.
For those wondering who's driving the bus, we'd need to get RCEL to about 23.50 to match AVH 6.54 last night. But I love the volume.
Nice pop in volume on the ASX tonight, may finally be getting some buyers.
Jugs, I could be wrong (always if you ask my wife), but I'm pretty sure tdeck was referring to another poster who shall remain unnamed.
Per Blackcranes public filings on ASIC (Australia) they were already holding around 9% of AVH shares. Good to see them buying more in the US. Thanks Bill.
Sad. Run Forest run!
You got it on Rampart Street or make it yourself?
Majority of shares still AVH
Liked the volume the last 2 days, especially yesterday. Now if we can just get the Aussie's and the price to cooperate.
Up almost 3% down under on slightly heavier volume than they've been doing lately. I'd like to see a couple of up days on reasonably heavy volume.
Short answer is not anytime soon. Any marketable product would take at minimum 5 years to approval, likely longer. And likely just for DFU. Avita could have it Recell approved for DFU within 5 years.
They're called investors for a reason. I'm invested here. I've never raved, just try to keep to the facts from an investment standpoint. If the facts change believe me I'd be the first to point them out. Management made the deal with BARDA that got Recell to market (yes, I know Perry didn't join the company until shortly after). They made a well timed cap raise to buy their production facilities, giving them direct control over their costs, aka margins. Another cap raise to fund sales and marketing for the roll out. Stock went from 2 to 6 in a month. One last well timed cap raise to fund the three current ongoing trials. They'll have 5 revenue streams within 3 years with about 12 years left on their patents at that point. That will drive the bottom line and allow them to add other applications.
I have a very nice realized gain and a bunch of free shares, and like their business plan. You don't, to each their own.
Excellent point. Some don't seem to understand how time consuming and expensive the FDA approval process is.
Sorry, my phone is limited. It was actually 97.19% for 2.22% against. The announcement was posted under RCEL on Yahoo on June 14th.
Thanks, the duplicate post was deleted. It was actually one of the most lopsided shareholder votes I've seen.
Jugs, clean up on aisle 4, please.
Surprised some of the folks who post here aren't too busy running their own fabulous business with their own fabulous business plan. RS bad, redomicile bad, going after wrong market, spending too much money. Let it suffice to say there was a very recent vote by people who have real money invested here. It was 98% in favor of management's proposals, which can be construed as a pretty favorable view of management. The 2% were beaten like Luke by Dragline in "Cool Hand Luke ". Like Luke they crawl back up to get punched again.
Avita has a very good business plan, most other investors appear to agree. 98% actually. The stock is down, it will be up again and eventually down again. It ain't Kelloggs.
Keep, I'm sure they'll be tapping you or Sojourner any day now. Be careful of the company you keep. You were obviously in the 2%.
Howdy! Hope all are well here. See they're about to do another capital raise to cover their pay. When will people learn.
Just noticed our old friends at Braeburn postponed their IPO a couple years ago. Will finally launch a product late November. Another shite show.
How in the world is Titan still listed on NASDAQ? Did they get a Covid dispensation?
Jugs, possibly your best post ever. As my aunt, an Ursuline nun, teacher and school principal always said, "This too shall pass." Sadly, as hard as it has been for us older folk, it's is and will be harder on young families just starting out, people working 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet. I worry about them a lot,
The way this has been trading you'd think it was an oil stock.
Good news! Only one more day of trading this week. I would note that fairly heaving volume to the upside in Australia in the last hour or so of trading. Closed at 6.07 there, equivalent to 21.90 here. For what it's worth, still looks like mostly retail.
Volume has been down in Australia since the redomicile. Very weak here today and pretty low yesterday. Weak hands pretty much gone, think most are sitting on their hands waiting to see where the market is headed.
Yeah, caliche not to good for soaking up water. Glad you and yours OK.
And you still haven't. Looks like you will stay on the weak side of the storm. And you have alternate transportation pinned down. Best of luck, know you've seen worse.
Lot of rain? Had a little here in Katy. Harvey dumped over 40 inches in 3 days at my house. Fortunately no flooding in my neighborhood. Lived in NOLA for 30 years, spent Katrina at the Ritz on Canal St.. Wasn't so Ritzy that week. Never again.
