your opinion, many here feel otherwise
PATENT VALUE is based on potential revenue stream in 5 to 10 years. For example:
Year 5- 2,000.000 meters at $150 each = $300M
Plus Opportunity revenue (ride share) - $700M
Total= $1 Billion
Selling patents is the ONLY way to save share holders...IMO
I didn't invest in Giles, I invested in patents!
any funny business on selling patents ends up in class action for both seller/ buyer- no ONE would touch patents otherwise!
Whoa There- I own part of the MM patent!
Patents last twenty years- can be sold anytime!

If Giles is smart, he will sell patents for $1 Billion! And new owner will need at least $30M-$50M to build, sell and support MM
Seeding the market with a few thousand meters in a fairly inexpensive customer acquisition cost, also maybe funding leases. Meters for millions of moto taxis is a huge market. Need deep pocke owner of patents
Customer Acquisition Cost is the cost associated in convincing a customer to buy a product/service[1]. This cost is incurred by the organization to convince a potential customer. This cost is inclusive of the product cost as well as the cost involved in research, marketing, and accessibility costs. This is an important business metric. It plays a major role in calculating the value of the customer to the company and the resulting return on investment (ROI) of acquisition. The calculation of customer valuation helps a company decide how much of its resources can be profitably spent on a particular customer. In general terms, it helps to decide the worth of the customer to the company.
Customer Acquisition Cost (abbreviated to CAC) refers to the resources that a business must allocate (financial or otherwise) in order to acquire an additional customer.
Numerically, customer acquisition cost is typically expressed as a ratio — dividing the sum total of CAC by the number of additional patrons acquired by the business as a result of the customer acquisition strategy.
A $30 meter (cost) is an inexpensive way to seed market with a huge ROI potential
FREE METERS is needed to grow the MM Market! It will take a visionary company with deep pockets to impact market. I'm tired of waiting.
I wonder why a dead company is still trading??...maybe some know what is happening with patents
Up 25%- Used chart that shows buy ORDERS vs sell ORDERS executed for day.
After hour buy of 4 M- new total for day 6,300,000 buys and 36,000 sells
Hardly, UP 25%, about 2,500,000 buys and 36,000 sells today
Many think the MM Patents will be sold to a company with deep pockets.
Yes, the moto taxi market isn't regulated in most of world- YET. Now that the MM has patents in 22 countries for taxi maters. I'm sure they will be regulated as in Sri Lanka. It's just a Matter of time
The Moto Taxi business is larger than auto taxi business. UBER is blocked in many cities due to not being regulated...the world is changing
Most ALL BUYS TODAY!
Yes, exactly what they have done in Thailand, Sri Lanka and India!
A company like UBER has the resources to develop the market
The PATENTS are very valuable. They could control 40% of the moto taxi business in the world. I would put a price of $1 billion on patents.
I wonder why WM would state in 10K to expect launch of YES third qtr 2017??
Yes, it's amazing how the stock market develops
Actually, per last 10K, YES is being launched this qtr! Also, I saw 5,000,000 downloads- took me about 30 minutes to find it on the Web site Col posted.
It will take lot's of money...I wonder where money is coming from, I assume from selling patents
meaningless to discuss 'Yes' - it would take $millions to get launched. You would need to arrange for hundreds/ thousands drivers and a support/ payment system. it's just interesting for future App- especially in Europe
No you are wrong, my google browser shows 100,000 downloads, the yahoo browser of Col shows 5 Million PLUS downloads....I don't know why browsers are different.
Sewer, relax, I've seen the 5,000,000 PLUS download spec's.
Relax Max, either the MM patents are sold or not!
No, they would need to set up a driver network and support infrastructure. It only represents potential for someone with deep pockets...IMO
Lot's of Moto Taxis in China, rural and small cities....

•May 24, 2016Comment
World Moto, Inc. , a leader in advanced solutions for motorcycle taxis and on-demand transport, today announced that it has been awarded a patent on the Moto-Meterâ„¢ in the People's Republic of China.
no company would touch patents if it wasn't legit! Class lawsuits!
Patents last 20 yrs...who cares who owns them.
exactly, a test for roll out to meet gov't mandates!
so, how do you explain the accumulation?
Uber is installing meters in Taxis in Indian cities- YOU POSTED THAT!
I wonder how long it would take UberMoto to ramp up production of MM for India- six months, one year or more?
UberMoto launched on Friday...

Yes, Indian cities and Sri Lanka have mandated meters on motos and three wheelers- but of course you know this
