I bet they have plenty of money now
Not to many on this site, I've seen the app downloads. It appears app only can be downloaded in Thailand. Maybe just a few cities- can't launch until drivers are screened and prepared. Relax wait for launch in six to nine months and after WM spending millions of dollars to put it together.
Pretty amazing WM is still in business 9 months later...I wonder what's up!
Col said "Asia" ....I think Thailand is in asia
Encouraging...5M plus downloads
"We are currently exploring new markets for Yes™ with the intent of expanding beyond Thailand in the fourth quarter of 2017.."
They sold IP IMO. This is VERY GOOD for share holders since WM doesn't have capital to market MM around the world. Product Launch soon.
Maybe no more DILUTION!

agreed....but I think we are close to some announcements....GRAB wants to do business in Thailand. Gov't appears to wants 'meters'- no one can hold back technology such as an app meter forever...the world is changing even in Thailand.
What happens in Thailand will happen in Indonesia has it already is happen in Sri Lanka and parts of India...and stated in Rwanda.
yes, politics...but the Mafia can get on board with the right 'grease'...I'm sure GRAB can do this (they prob. don't have same laws as a US Company.)
MM is controlling SP....few down days in month....interesting?
it doesn't exist right now...wait for the Launch
How?.. this was a good article about GRAB- let's just post FACTS! (as you normally do)
Ride booking services such as Uber and Grab's GrabCar have won popularity in the nation of 67 million for often being cheaper and less likely to refuse to take passengers to their destinations than regular taxis, but they have irked traditional taxi drivers.
But regular Uber client Putti Orungrochkul, a 24-year-old tech entrepreneur in Thai capital Bangkok, said banning Uber goes against Thailand's stated vision of becoming an innovative and digitally-driven society.
"If the government really cares about the people, they will find a middle ground," he told Reuters.
GRAB- I think they have deleted Bike Meters from their Web site until launch.
Harpo1 post 32746
Hi Guys,
From GRAB web site FAQ about bikes..
see below ..........for e receipt......:"enter the exact meter fare"........so they will use meters on their bikes.
It is now a fact from their web site!!!!!!
Looking good here.
GRAB:
"How do we pay (according to the taxi meter or the estimated fare on the app)?
Tariff which mentioned in the app is an estimated fare; therefore, you need to pay accordingly to the taxi meter directly to the driver."
Go to bottom of Page, there is a section for GRABBike...I'm a bit disappointed with you- this is the second time I've mentioned this to you!
Thai Web site clearly stated bike meters and tariffs and meter pay
No I'm referring to the Thai Website
From your link:
"How do we pay (according to the taxi meter or the estimated fare on the app)?
Tariff which mentioned in the app is an estimated fare; therefore, you need to pay accordingly to the taxi meter directly to the driver."
GRAB website with Bike meters has been posted by BlessedT if I remember correctly. The FAQ clearly states 'tariffs' and 'meters' for bikes. You know this so I'm surprised by your statement
no denying the GRAB Website and use of meters!
apparently some haven't read the GRAB Thailand Website about 'meters' being part of their product offering. They mention the app will give an estimate 'tariff' for the ride with the meter providing the actual cost.
The video shows the Moto Meter being used.
Our Indonesian board connection and that fact a Indonesian dealer has tested MM for over a year, I bet GRAB may standardize on MM for Thailand and Indonesian market. Let's not forget the 5M plus HellYes downloads.
Where is Uber?
GRAB Test in Bangkok is prob. our best bet for initial rise in SP. When completed?
the simple fact is that no gov't has mandated meters yet where the MM can complete. Sri Lanka Tuks already have acceptable meters.
Market Cap is usually based on 5 year plus projections- typically 10x to 20x revenue but for some high flying non revenue companies it's based purely on projections.
It wouldn't be unreasonable for the MM with several mandated contracts to have projected income of $100M plus in five years....hence $1 billion Market Cap.
GRAB, Uber, others have extensive market analysis- they know exactly how big the moto taxi business is and it's reported to be much larger than auto app market. They know the potential value of the MM to control a market.
MM management is smart to let market develop before any announcements- obviously it's not there yet! ...or WM would be a $10 stock..
Many believe there is value in the IP. For me, the worldwide potential of MM could justify a value of upwards of one Billion (I'm an optimist .
It appears owners of IP aren't ready to announce contracts yet...until then this is a high risk speculative stock.
Yes, I was married to Thai woman, I understand the politics and have been there many times. The GRAB moto taxis will use tariffs to estimate fares with the moto meter providing actual fare. GRAB is working with the Thai Gov't.
Moto Meter is a Thai Company!
Per your link:
"As locals are regularly overcharged by both taxi and motorcycle taxi drivers, Grab and Uber made good impressions on Bangkokians although services such as GrabCar and UberX are still illegal under the Thai law.
GoBike is now available for download for iOS and Android. The association told Coconuts that their app is currently only working in some areas but will be fully functioning soon.
on your next trip, you might want to catch a GRAB MOTO METER TAXI. Per GRAB Web site, you will be able to get a moto taxi with trusted meter, have food delivered on moto metered taxi, share a ride on moto metered taxi, send documents via moto metered taxi, etc, etc.
Your opinion, I trust Joe that he has a 25 minute video of the GRAB Test and the posted GRAB WEB SITE PROMOTING METERS ON MOTORCYCLES....wow, maybe denial syndrome?
Joe, has posted video- where have you been?
No doubt in my mind that a contract with GRAB or others will push SP to .05 plus.
You invested too early in WM, sad but true. Most penny start-up debt financed companies never make it this far. Hat off to Giles!
Gov'ts are FINALLY mandating meters, the moto meter is the only patented moto taxi meter in 40% of moto taxi world. If you don't see that, suggest you sell your shares. The stock market is rocketing-hard to lose money in this market.
Joe, any update on GRAB Pilot Test? How long will it last? Roll out timetable?
I doubt we will see anything about MM until it is actually launched somewhere.
ELCOT provides millions of free computers to students and other IT/ transportation stuff in India. Are you implying that they might be involved in funding app driven taxi meters? What is your proof?
Are you saying ELCOT is involve with WM and/or taxi meters?
Alien, you better tell GRAB to stop their Pilot Test in Bangkok
Interesting to note MM closed SP today at .002 after hours. This seems to be the price they are holding.
Since we've invested in the potential of the MM, nowhere is the potential bigger than China...

WM Management System and taxi meter technology works fine with Driver-less vehicles...read the Patent!
yes, the question for share holders is how soon it will happen. GRAB, Uber others know exactly how big the market is (they spend millions on market analysis)...someone needs to step up and fund manufacturing and marketing.
yes, but meters have been around for about 100 years. The patent is for Vehicle Management- driver-less, auto/ moto - app compliant with GPS tracking, Wireless fare updates, etc, etc.
Sri Lanka press reporting meters will be mandated for all 100,000 plus Tuks. About 20% already metered.
absolutely... but still an emerging market. Moto Meer was about 6 to 10 years too early
