Yes, many see the value in the patents and don't believe the MM is dead.
amazed share price is holding up reasonably well
The re-launch of 'YES' is schedule soon per 10K- this will take a great deal of cash to set up/ vet drivers, software support, marketing and infrastructure- a major undertaking. Let's hope they have deep pockets this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The value of most anything is 'what people are willing to pay'...if UBER or other thought they could control the moto market with a MM, this would be very valuable IMO. My guess is $1B starting price- I'll wait for market to develop, in mean time stock market is growing like crazy.
Actually, per last 10K- HELLYES is being re-launched in Thailand third qtr. 2017- so I think deal will be done soon.
If buyout of IP is not clean...a class action lawsuit against buyer could result. A company like UBER wouldn't want this!
a buyout by an established company would be better for everyone to avoid possible class action lawsuits. An established company would want to avoid negative press.
or...Uber or other who see the billions in revenue from MM around world buys the patents. A better guess IMO
a year ago...about the time WM went quiet...I WONDER WHY??
World Moto Inc. Net Profits Ten Inc (OTCBB:FARE) has made several announcements over the last several weeks and becoming a major player in the ride hailing business. It has been signing several memorandum of understanding (MOUs) with distributors in Sri Lanka, Kenya, Rwanda, and India. FARE announced that it is discussions with popular ride hailing app services to provide a competitive advantage for their brands in the accelerating battle to professionalize the world’s motorcycle taxi fleets.
“Motorcycle taxis are the most numerous form of taxis on Earth, and while the scale of this new battlefield is enormous, so are the potential rewards. The professionalization of this industry, already underway, will only increase in the future, and the tremendous size of the sector and number of disparate regional markets, similar to retail, allows room for multiple winners. The Moto-Meter offers tangible benefits for every one of them, and it is only a matter of time before this technology becomes ubiquitous. Until then, any leverage that these operators can achieve in a city may mean the difference between becoming the leading service vs. handing victory to a competitor, and the Moto-Meter will give them a distinct advantage,” said Paul Giles, CEO of World Moto Inc

Simple- Why DILUTE if there is no business yet
It's obvious to me they will be selling to another company...why else kill Website. My guess someone like UBER is marketing MM but IP value depends on contract...IMO
my guess- waiting for a contract then everything changes
Why post 10k 2-3 months ago if WM as dead- I don't thimk so
The IP (Market Cap) is less than $1M now. Someone will make alot of money here....anyone's guess who
sujitta- pure speculation. I think new owner will be in the industry...no one knows if it will be good for share holders or not at this point.
or simply sell assets to another company with deep pockets...why start the whole dilution process all over again?
You are absolutely correct...it all depends on demand. Uber would have the best info on worldwide demand for APP meters
Obviously, determining the IP Value is pretty easy by analyzing how much revenue is possible in each country/ city that requires MM. Factoring in the growth opportunity also.
WM doesn't exist anymore- either they sold IP (escrow) or not (or are in process of partnering with another company)....I would much rather own $20K of stock in a new company than $20K in WM (which is now worth $10K or less).
Pure speculation....IMO.
Paul Giles did what any SMART CEO does- protect assets (to preserve shareholder value- his own and everyone else). If he sold IP this is much better than diluting shares by adding billions in outstanding shares.
yes, and I own a manufacturing business now- I understand the money needed to market worldwide and setting up production chain. Simply can't do it with $2M initial funding.
WM was about 5 to 7 years too early.
I founded a public traded company, bought sold several business...don't tell me I don't understand!
Paul Giles is ONE VERY SMART GUY- he founded WM and had MIT Software Engineer design the MM. NO ONE UNDERSTANDS THE OPPORTUNITY LIKE HIM
The MM Market in a few years is worth BILLIONS in revenue...this why IP is so valuable!
Yes, that why UBER or OTHER should be willing to pay big $$ for IP. I would start at $1Billion or $500M AND STOCK.
...or a total stock swap....no cash....bigger ROI down the road
My guess- They had no funding to deliver meters in quantity- EVER! That's why they need a deep pocket partner. Delivering meters worldwide would take about $20M to $50M easily.
how do you fire the major shareholder
Col, Why would you say that?...you have stated many times over the last six to nine months that something was up....suggest you at least wait until you find out what is going on. If Giles has sold IP, this may or may not be a very good thing. If IP value is $100M, I'm very rich! If sold for $20M, I'm very happy and not so rich.
The best outcome would be for buyer to swap stock...I'd gladly take UBER stock
BS...it's obvious many cities, countries want taxi meters for auto and moto. The 'MM' is the ONLY APP COMPLIANT PRODUCT.
yes, we are teaming to buy IP
yes, maybe (they had no money to continue operations). The question is who might buy IP?
Yes, I think they started ESCROW about a year ago. An IP sale of $100M would give us about 100X ROI
Saint, I wonder how long the ESCROW is for a typical IP sale??
trust me, if UBER bought IP and money not distributed, I would sue UBER Class Action for $1 Billion
I doubt they (or anyone) want the bad press!
If money not distributed...both the seller and buyer would be open to huge liability....this is a publicly trade company!
sorry, you are wrong....period!
If the IP is being sold, the money for the IP will be distributed to shareholders. This is how it works! If any funny business, WM management would be open to large class action lawsuits....the buyer of IP definitely doesn't want any BAD PRESS.
wrong, as a stockholder I own part of IP
Col, What choice did he have?... company ran out of money, market is emerging, no contracts but huge opportunities in coming years. Uber would be the perfect company to sell IP. They have the resources to market/ sell the MM to Africa, Asia and other. I think IP is worth a great deal of money- How much WM gets will determine if WM management are HERO's or not.
It will be interesting how much the IP is worth to someone. It all depends on the worldwide demand for MM. It would be great if there was a bidding war
