At this point we have no idea what's in the glass . Until we know what the numbers are for the grow operation we are just speculating . The grow operation is a huge part of the equation that is blatantly being ignored .
His point is relevant unlike the response he received . Investors can choose to look at the numbers and facts or be mindless cheerleaders with their heads buried in the sand . Personally , I want the facts !
Do you know what would significantly lower expenses and increase revenue ? Having a large successful grow ! Why do we not know what the grow operation numbers are ? Why is this huge equation being overlooked by investors ?
Two new stores could be huge for revenue but lets hold off on all this seed to sale chest thumping until we know what exactly they have going on with their grow operation , we dont know a thing about it yet . Nobody has been able to get this information from them and I dont understand why we are giving them a free pass on it . This is my biggest issue with whats going on .
Its nice to see the price go up ! Hopefully they can maintain the public interest in this stock .
They still have not released any useful information on their grow operation . We should be able to know how many lights/watts they are running and how much is being produced . If you are selling yourself as a vertically integrated company then leaving out what your production capabilities are is a little questionable considering its a HUGE factor in the bottom line .
Well there is quite a bit a difference between fraud and being arrested for trying to help sick people dont you think ?
I also cant find any numbers for their grow . We need to know how many lights/watts the grow room is running at .
I certainly hope so and making money always shuts up disgruntled investors . But KAYS has brought this negativity upon themselves , they deserve it for the way they have ran the company and the incompetency they have shown . They have nobody to blame but themselves ...... Now make some money and shut me up , kays !
Licensing authority MAY deny application if applicant has been convicted of an offense substantially related to qualifications, including ANY felony controlled substance offense, violent or serious felonies, or felonies involving fraud, deceit or embezzlement, or any sanctions by a local licensing authority in the past 3 years (SB 643, 19323(a)5).
This is what it actually says and the word may does not mean will
Comparing kaya shack to harborside is laughable . We would be wealthy investors if kaya shack was ran anywhere near the level of harborside . Harborside is the big leagues , kaya shack .... not so much .
Kays silence is even more unacceptable than their incompetence at running a dispensary or their ability to file paperwork .
That company actually knows what they are doing and doesnt need to rip off small investors and vendors to stay afloat .
And its only complex to those who dont know what they are doing , there are literally tens of thousands of people who make a living doing just this . You just need qualified people to run the operation .
And what exactly is your expertise in this field ?
Investing for a couple of years and admittedly not an expert at it . But what I do know and understand is this industry in which I have been involved in since the 90's and in the most experienced and competitive region in the country .
"You are clearly simplifying a very complex business model in a very complex industry... "
What exactly is complex ? Grow , process , sell ...... not complex at all if you know anything about what you are doing and this is where the revenue comes from . Now the business side might be trickier with all the regulations constricting the industry but arent these guys supposed to businessmen first and foremost ? So at the very least they should be showing a good stream of revenue coming in like every single dispensary thats ever been allowed to operate .
I see plenty of pumping here by people I suspect have ties to kays ..... And considering this is the biggest hub for kays investors to exchange information I would consider it misleading and pumping the stock . Not to mention the manipulation and censorship that goes on .
How is any of this relevant to what kays has going on ? They have already been green lighted by the state and have very little market competition compared to what they will have when federal legalization kicks in . If they cant make it when handed a monopoly how do you think they are going to do against people who actually know what they are doing and have far more experience and expertise in the industry ? If kays cant make it work with the head start they have been given they are absolutely doomed in the future .
Im guessing the next big thing will not involve people who dont know anything about the industry and cant file paperwork .
When did I say anything about may 16th ?
And I would argue that nothing about growing and selling cannabis is in its infancy stages , this has been going on for a long time .
Only time will tell and a stock making money would fix everything . In the meantime , KAYS will have to deal with heavy criticism they brought upon themselves just like any other publicly traded company that faceplants . Im rooting for kays as much as anyone but they need to feel the heat from investors and get it together .
People who know what they are doing and understand the industry will do well . I have seen zero evidence that suggest kays fits into this category . If you cant make it in this industry with the permits Oregon gave kaya shack than there is no chance of moving forward in the future when outside market competition with decades of experience comes into play . Kays has been more interested in being the first publicly traded company in the industry and selling stock than actually learning the culture and industry .
I would much rather see kaya shack employees selling those innovative kaya buddies than posting useless information all day long on the boards for the purpose of pushing the truthful negative information off the page .
"Yes, I definitely understand Your[our] Ploy!"
And what exactly do you believe that to be ?
A long time ago is when we were supposed to see the numbers . We wouldnt have a guessing game if kays did their job .
You invite guessing and speculation from investors when you dont handle business and do your job . So here is my guess , the numbers are terrible . If the numbers were great we would have heard about them already .
Just listening to the way things went down with their vendors and the two sides of the argument (from craigs posts in response) I can tell these east coast businessmen have no experience in this industry so I doubt they would even know where to look for someone to run their grows . The biggest mistake these states are making is creating laws and building an industry and culture around laws instead of making laws around a preexisting culture and industry . CA is going to crush the competition when they come online . Nowhere in this country is there more experience , knowledge , growing conditions , culture or genetics to compete with CA .
The grow is not big enough to supply their stores or they arent any good at growing . Vertical integration is a terrible model for states to go with but I thought it would be a great idea to invest in a state sanctioned monopoly . But I also assumed they knew what they were doing . I would be investing every last dollar into the grow operation if I was handed a permit to vertically integrate .
They were probably just kaya shack employees that got layed off so they arent posting all day at work anymore.
If your buyer agrees to purchase a product you can't decide you dont want it 2 months later after it sits around . That's on your buyer , PERIOD ! And his response and reasoning shows he has little knowledge or experience in the cannabis industry that's been around decades longer than him. For him to think that him and his group of east coast businessmen that know nothing about this industry are going to single handedly mold it to their way of doing things is not only naive but will sink the kaya shack ship . These guys need to figure it out .
A link was provided , the question was answered ......... but somehow they went missing ?? I wonder what happened ?
Valid information should never be censored
Stiffing their vendors is not a good sign of things to come
The bottom line is 2 stores and a cultivation site doesnt require that much money and if you cant make money after the state let you vertically integrate its because you suck and have no clue what you are doing . Or it was a big scam to begin with .
Except for the fact that 1 grow would cover all the expenses associated with starting a grow operation
What's the weight numbers for the grow ?
How many lights/watts is the grow ?
What % of sales are from the grow ?
Until someone knows these very simple facts , it is all just cheerleading and speculating based on ZERO facts .
Exactly , there are regions in this country that have 6+ decades and multiple generations of experience in this industry that are going to crush the competition when they get the greenlight from the state . Some states made laws and are creating an industry and culture around the laws . Other states had a culture and industry existing and are making laws around them .
Money doesnt care about words like recreational or medical .
Reasonable information ALL shareholders should be given
How many lights/watts is the grow operation ?
What % of sales are from Kaya shack's grow operation ?
If you are going to applaud yourself for being vertically integrated you should also tell the whole story .
