Nice of ClayTrader to do us another chart. I'm looking forward to the next filing.
...your welcome...I am close by here so it makes sense to update y'all on what I can.
Thank you... I'm very glad I went. I did ask him about up listing and he said he planned to but wouldn't give a time frame. I wish I could talk to some of you face to face because there is so much disingenuous talk here that I feel like I'm wasting time but here goes... JD wasn't trying to put on a show in front of us. He's not pretending to be bigger than he is. They had to borrow money to buy equipment like many other companies do. It's a lot of work and takes much effort to build your dream as they are doing. They are based in reality in the sense that they deal with things and people as they are. I could relate to some of what they are doing. I sincerely hope they are successful for many years to come. If the economy picks up so will they. If the economy crashes so will they. Don't expect them to up list exchanges soon. I could see they have their hands full now and JD made it clear that his focus would be more on sales accounts than stock related business. If they continue to grow yes they will up list but they are where they feel they need to be right now. You'll always have pumpers and bashers on these message boards as many of us know too well. Somebody wants to buy cheaper so they bash and spread negatives...then when they have their shares they suddenly "see the light" and start pumping. Many fall for it. Ironically the ones that are screaming Buy BUY BUY are selling of course...LOL I'm glad there are some genuine good people here too.
Do you trade "typical pinks"?
...or do you have a line drawn between the different exchanges that you stay above?
With this kind of volume...
...the price we are seeing is more "spirit" than "flesh".
Less than a million shares traded. Deja Vu?
Expo is on the pink sheets. Intelligent people will recognize it IS a pink sheet stock. A realistic person will not expect a pink sheet company to file like it's trading on the AMEX. It's a shame that they must kick against the .... as they move forward. The building truly needed painting...it was painted...simple right? No because they can't do needed upkeep without some (noun with colorful metaphor) running their mouth...amazing. Thank you JD, Gary, Bill and all the people trying to edify and build up America. You are needed now more than ever before. D&D will need much more than a million square feet before it's over IMO.
They had a load of thread displays staged...ready to ship. I recall there were two different companies connected with them but I don't recall the other name he connected with the thread displays.
Like the rest of the country we've had many plants to shut down in this area. Unifi (UNI) has many large empty buildings around. Tyson (Chickens) is a major industry in Wilkes County and there are rumors that they may move part of their operations out of the country. So I was very happy to see "Made in USA" jobs here in Wilkes. I'd like to thank everyone at once for the pm's and the "thanks" I received here on the board. If anyone is flying into Charlotte and doesn't plan on renting a car...I suggest you post that here and I'm sure that Gambler, myself or someone from D&D could pick a few folks up at the airport.
I can carry 3 fat people or 2 fat people plus 2 skinny ones LOL (Altima)
...anyway
...membermarks are appreciated. Thanks!
I don't know if you y'all noticed but I added you as assistant mods...
... so if y'all want to change or add anything in the IBOX feel free.
They aren't "pumping" or "fluffing" ...another good sign
Your very welcome...I enjoyed every minute of it. Memorable experience.
Lots of precision equipment...again...I was expecting a good plant but I was shocked to find so much automation. I was thinking "store displays". I expected to see a plant producing particle board or fiberboard displays covered with plastic laminates etc. but it wasn't that at all. Lots of variety of products...solid oak items etc. / They also produce non production line items too. The employees are well oriented with what their making and which vendor it's for. Nice AMERICAN work environment. I suggest anyone who has the desire to visit the plant but can't justify it should consider combining business with pleasure. You'll not be far from some of the most beautiful mountains in the eastern United States.
I couldn't give you a good guess to be fair. It's a large plant and it was my first time inside...lot's of movement going on. If I were pressed for a "guess" I'd say somewhere over 30 minimum...I guess I can quit watching "the painting of the building" now LOL which looks to be complete and very good.
I'm guilty of being there too. I was amazed at how well the plant was setup. They have one programmer controlling different stations. It reminded me of a Weyerhaeuser plant in the sense that a handful of operators could keep the plant running. I knew it would be a nice facility but the automation there is first class. Computer operated cutters, drills and routers... I don't know where to start telling about the place. Too much to write here...however I do want to say the materials being worked with at some stations were "floating" on a combination of air and ball bearings! You could take one finger and move hundreds of pounds of material around. One station in particular had one person operating it and while we stood there he made hundreds of feet of PRECISION cuts and move hundreds of pounds of stock without breaking a sweat! I was amazed. We saw many displays that I recognized from Lowe's stores etc. JD was very nice to us. I appreciated his hospitality and his willingness to answer questions and show us their new product lines. It was nice to meet GamblerNC also. (GamblerNC missed a good lunch with us at Ted's Kickin' Chicken') Another ihub poster was there also. I'm very happy to have graduated from stalking to touring! LOL
Thank you. If nothing goes wrong I'll be meeting Gambler today.
I've been posting about stocks since the 90's but they've always been located between "far far away" and Timbucktoo. When I saw this one in my backyard...I figured I'd go look and then couldn't resist keeping tabs on the painting. I have many friends at Lowe's and around this area...yeah I guess I am kinda stalking them! LOL
....Oh yeah...if your going to try and have fun while your here there's a few options. Like Gambler said Boone's not far and even closer is Stone Mtn. State park.
I drove by again today. The painting of the building is looking good. They were also loading 53' foot trailers...
I don't know...I was going to ask y'all...I tried to get the manager at Hampton Inn to go over and look at the plant with us.
The Hampton Inn is very nice and they feed you well...
more importantly they are in Wilkesboro! They will let us use the meeting room and they have a business center.
Listen up if your attending the shareholders meeting. I went to the Hampton Inn of Wilkesboro just now and spoke with "Summer" who is the manager. She quoted $70 a night for people attending the meeting. I'm going to speak with JD Brown in the morning (hopefully) about it. She said we could use the meeting room too. That way us Ihubbers could get together.
My father got elected a Town Commissioner tonite.
I'm all out for EVRM right now...if I were not I would have considered CITQ at .25
No sellers to be found...let the MM's play by themselves...
...I'm going to work on my "list of things to do"
See y'all Wednesday. Bye
Watching CITQ for fun...amazing price volatility in just 10 minutes!
It went down to .228 and then up to .28!
Nice to see the new names along with more board marks.
I also read some very good posts (alongside some obviously deceitful posts)
It's such an insult when posters lie and try to place snares...
...their obviously morons (and I say that with charity) LOL
One week and counting...
I'm soon to be replacing carpet at Jackson Hewitt's offices in Mt. Airy, NC [hometown of Andy Griffith]. I'm currently helping the same company open new offices in Wilkesboro, NC [where EXPH is located] by replacing the carpet and a few other little things. I encouraged the preparers in their Jonesville, NC offices to buy JTX a while back...
Congrats to us all for bring featured AGAIN on the front page of ihub (without paying 20 grand). LOL
...I'm going Tuesday to meet the CEO of EXPH and look at their plant.
I'm replacing carpet at Jackson Hewitt in Mt. Airy, NC [hometown of Andy Griffith]. Also helping the same company open a new office in Wilkesboro, NC [where EXPH is located] by replacing the carpet and a few other things. I had encouraged the preparers in their Jonesville, NC to buy JTX a while back.
Last post for me...I'm going to bed but "Toe River Embroidery" is a good choice for smaller orders. I've ordered shirts, tees and caps from them before (Owners name was Neil).
http://www.toeriverembroidery.com/
..."oh"....that kinda earl
I thought you meant Earl as in "My name is Earl".....
...His brother Randy probably wouldn't be a good one to ask for advice
LOL...
I guess the member marks is a vain thang...I still like them
(I like sweet tea from Bojangles too)
I ran through today's post and saw many new names...
I agree this is good.
I forget sometimes that we have a HUUUUUGE audience watching (picking my nose) and when I cruise ihub boards I see names that I recognize everywhere. It's rare I go to a top 10 board and don't see people I know...
Here's the clincher! If I'm not mistaken ihub receives around 20 MILLION hits a week!
ONLY A VERY VERY SMALL PERCENT OF THEM EVER POST!
...but they are reading! ...they are watching...
that reminds me....
I only have 64 member marks!
I've been here for years and never scratched any body's car or kicked anyone's dog.
So with millions of hits a day surely a few of y'all can member mark me...LOL
EVRM is going higher... MUCH higher! Gotta love it!
Know what you hold!
"The Lord loves a working man"
(investor911 had another saying but I forgot it)
Exciting and unusual to see investors clenching to their shares like this!
You're appreciated here. Thanks for your efforts.
Wow...I just noticed the low volume for the day...amazing.
Everybody got drunk and was arrested while driving home...
(that's what white lightning will do) LOL
You just barely got me... I have 518,000 shares which is a huge amount for me to have in one stock. I'm amazed when I see folks here with millions of shares...
It is a low volume stock. If they are looking at their buy and sell orders they know when they can safely sell shares they don't have in order to keep the ticker tape running. That's the only "shorting" I think is going on (would that be called shorting?) I hope we don't have any malicious trading going on...I don't think we do...
ERoche posted: "They are good at what they do" ...and they ARE!
The MM's do this as a career. They know what they can and can't do. They play traders like a drum whenever a trader is willing to play their game. They win hands down most of the time. They know what to do to get the response they want. They have studied the psychological makeup of traders. The only way to win against MM gaming is pick a winner and hold on.
Nothing wrong with 200,000 shares.
Lot's of folks would love to have 200,000 shares of a $1 stock even if it is trading at .028
My current holdings are 518,000.
I lost a few shares placing small 'test' orders.
wow...we have 13 boardmarks....weez famous!
