i think we see revenue go up again in q1 and beat 3.2 million; easily could see 3.4 or 3.5. cvsi is developing really good relationships with their partners i think.
yep cant find the patent application either; somewhat disturbed about that
not to mention cvsi has boots on the ground in kentucky attempting to build a global hemp supply chain.
my hope is something is brewing in dc to remove hemp and all its derivatives from the definition of marijuana; that could be helpful. The language in the federal bill submitted on 3.30.17 does that and also as referenced before the kentucky bill hb333 did that also. you do that and then all of a sudden the hemp industry and all its derivatives have a huge leg up on the rest of the cannabis industry.
this stock is a mess
i wouldn't blame anyone for dumping this thing
but if you like to gamble i think this could be the one for you!
what do you think of this rallying call?
hemp and all its derivatives can be the great compromise to the cannabis dilemma.
monsanto already has figured out how to produce super high cbd hemp strains one would venture.
if the hemp industry wanted to corner the market they would get hemp and all its derivatives removed from the definition of marijuana and keep marijuana and marijuana extracts right there as schedule 1 drugs.
if you cant patent a product formulation who wins?
did the tobacco industry want anatabine to succeed?
what does the hemp industry want?
well you can start with the youtube link below:
meh; i saw something 10x better that no one has mentioned
perfect time to sell; 100k shares sitting right on the bid for someone
its an extra virgin olive oil with infused hemp cbd rich oil
if it causes burning you have serious issues with your body
in no way does the product taste like pepper
lies
olive oil probably causing gas in your stomach; you need to alkalize your gut buddy
i would sprint to the doctor and get checked out for throat cancer
whos brand will be a winner?
and GWPH gets their way too:
(f) A cannabidiol product approved as a prescription medication by the United
States Food and Drug Administration;
kyhb333 did get passed by the senate but I see the senate made the proper adjustments:
...The term "marijuana" does not include:...
(e) A cannabidiol product derived from industrial hemp, as defined in KRS 260.850; or [ADDED IN SENATE]
its not getting to .40 cents this week
smokin thc is bad mmmkay
Anatabloc lacked marketing and the backing of an industry
any other thoughts on that?
do old ladies buy charlottes web?
kentucky hemp industry has friends in high places
cv sciences is probably the largest current sponsor of kentucky hemp
havent heard a word about kyhb333; probably got smashed in the kentucky senate
west virginia telling the feds that they will extract cbd from hemp and sell it and there aint a thang they can do about it
big pharma wants to go all synthetic
cvsi obviously playing both sides of the coin but i personally hope that both are allowed to win; there is room for both
market makers have been sitting on the bid for weeks gobbling up shares.
why wont this thing go down if there is lots of selling?
its a brand for the common folk!
none of this hippie crap
its a brand for old ladies and middle class folks
how easy could +cbd become +thc or +whatever.
and smoking thc is bad for ya mmmmkay
national brand
you pay less on income taxes if you cash in now; i would say it is bullish because you would want to exercise all the options you can at this price if you can; then hopefully hold for a year before dumping to get long term capital gains tax. Those guys are all in high tax brackets so they want to avoid income taxes and pay long term capital gain taxes.
i have tried to think of whey they did that; i think the royalty payment is the key there; they had to pay off the rest to be able to pay off the royalty payment. so then why pay off the royalty payment? either they got nothin and are padding their friends on the way out; or they got something and its a pretty done deal. why do it if it is a long shot but they are not trying to pad their friends pockets.
whats with the form d put out today? looks like exact same thing at the iliad 2nd note for 750k from march 1st but why would they report that differently than the 1st iliad note?
if the runs on no news easy call
if the run is on news though geesh could miss profits
easier said then done but as the old saying says pigs get slaughtered.
there will be a run though better do that then sell out at .36 cents.
cvsi is now renting a warehouse in kentucky; trying to get the supply chain going i suppose. or maybe they are dumping the rest of their European inventory there. sounds like the relationship with europe is pretty much done; and a there is a lawsuit to boot.
another catalyst could be getting in whole foods; you get in there you
truly solifidy yourself as a trusted national brand.
cvsi made a splash at expo west with the whole foods folks i think.
they wrote a few articles about cvsi and the overall industry in their magazine.
as long as sg&a is adding to the brand its good.
one problem is the high cost of living in san diego really driving up salaries etc. out there.
need to see better cogs as % of revenue q1 results.
they are hopeful for pre-ind meeting before july 1st; seems like date starting to get pushed back; they need to deliver; they made a gamble [25 million shares plus overhead/r+d + dilution from notes etc.].
the impaired goodwill is pretty irrelevant. they are now understating goodwill big time; 1000 plus stores many non chain and unique relationships; national brand etc. and no goodwill for it.
inventory impairment hopefully was just an accounting thing.
5 quarters in a row of rising revenue; 3.2 million this time; i expected higher and suspect wholesale and purified liquid sales are struggling. but certainly not bad.
cogs as a percent of revenue terrible; some related to holiday shipping costs im sure but they need to get that under control. what the heck happened there.
i doubt the market reacts to this too much. could see a drift into mid-30s for a few weeks due to continued retail selling pressure which we have seen all month.
The 2 million Iliad note is more than 1/2 way payed off now due to conversion of shares by my counts.
lower income tax on execution? hopefully they have some good news
mona; mona iii; dowling exercised their fiscal 2016 performance options.
im home cowering in the corner
market makers cant even agree on this thing geesh
some are net buyers some are net sellers
one would think if we would see NT 10-K today or tomorrow if we are going to see one.
