an IND does not have to be approved. An IND just needs not to be delayed by the FDA during the 30 day period following its submission by the sponsor
posters have mentioned ipix has a documented history of not updating investors in a timely fashion when they submit previous INDs, but rather let's us know sooner to the trial start date that the IND had been in process for some time already
i rather be patient and not get ahead of myself. if the ind hasn't happened yet, so be it. nothing new based on this b for c process... but if ipix actually submitted their ind and our 30 day wait period has been winding down unbeknownst to investors, all the better.
Which date is the Q report due by? last year was nov 13. i hate friday afternoon filings.
Is the Q out yet?
it's common practice for all stocks, not just us somewhat illiquid penny stocks. the company confirms big news is going to come out shortly but the stock barely goes up or even moves down with the imminent positive material event coming up. ktov is an example i can think of a few months back. thing trended down, down, down on good news and then 1 day it just decided to go up, up, up before the big news.
Q report due out soon. IND update might come along with it
Q Report Due Out Any Time Now
will the IND update be in there? what else? update on grant/collaboration/partnership/etc.... would be lovely
will ipix clarify who warren weston is? the cdmo or cro(s) announced?
there is someone who keeps throwing out an IMO who seems to be spot on. the latest imo i have heard is human trials by EOM
another poster here gave a few instances (or at least 1) where IPIX updates investors as to it's IND endeavors weeks after the fact
we shall see. whether it be this month or next, IPIX stated in their last PR we are still on for Q4 of this year
Can we just all focus on the IND date and when human trials can start. Everything else is noise. IPIX is in the home stretch when it comes to it's B for C journey
Hey at least we are trading in sympathy with other covid plays - we finally made it
i remember back when AF reported R cured C. Market went up big the next day then reality started to sink in
Vaccine - take this and you might not get sick
Therapeutic - take this to feel better
Here is a recent poll how many people would take the vaccine:
https://www.statnews.com/pharmalot/2020/10/19/covid19-coronavirus-pandemic-vaccine-racial-disparities/
Why is the story line getting blurred again. Whether it's covid is going away or some new drug will kill B's covid chances, Brilacidin is being studied as a therapeutic, not a vaccine. the mindset that there will be 1 and only drug to vaccinate against something without dozens of other medications to go along with it seems kind of tunnel vision.
the spin on the news is something this board has been alluding to. The pfe results were leaked to the wsj once the election was over.
there seems to be the mindset here that brilacidin's slow road to where we are today was to wait till after the election as well. we shall see if there is a rapid increase in pace now that the election is over. could be a reason why there was an email this weekend after a president elect was named. hmmmmmmmmm
I wonder if this will happen
I can't imagine it would be good for NY seeing the current stats of how many people voluntarily would get vaccinated
https://www.law.com/newyorklawjournal/2020/11/07/state-bar-passes-mandatory-covid-19-vaccination-recommendation/?slreturn=20201009072218
the inhaled version as a prophylactic would make brilacidin a household name. As it relates to the 2nd quote you pulled from the article, it suggests that this trial won't just be looking at covid19 in patients. Hopefully IPIX can expand upon "different diseases parameters within the one therapeutic treatment."
Preprint activity picking up
https://biorxiv.altmetric.com/details/93484123
Where did it say the phrase quick phase two? i am not sure why there is a sudden rush. Pre-print. Done. Pre-IND. Done. Peer Review. In the works. IND submission....???
I don't think the situation need to be confused more then will IPIX inform investors when the FDA acknowledges receipt of our B for C IND in a timely fashion
I would still like to know who Warren Weston is
My posts are just reiterating the 30 day wait period after the IND received by the fda.
The confidence that IPIX has with Q4 human trial start date would suggest the funding is not a problem
This is an interesting powerpoint on the ind process
Page 30
IND Submission: The First 30 Days
This is not the May 2020 document but I think gives clarity to why there is a 30 day wait. INDs are not approved however a clinical hold could be placed on the IND. Some divisions can issue a "safe to proceed letter" sooner than the 30 days
https://www.fda.gov/media/87562/download
Straight out of the IPIX annual report:
Page 14
Paragraph heading: Preclinical Testing
For any lurkers, just look at the annual report for timeframes
Nov 2nd the company received responses to the pre-ind
At that point the company said they will incorporate the fda comments into the ultimate Ind / study
There is a 30 day wait period from the ind to first human dosing. It's all in the annual report. Anything else is just people guessing or jumping the gun. Not sure if it's flippers looking to make an extra penny or two in the meantime, but things are good
and for all those suggesting we are being suppressed or why won't people shout from the mountain tops our pre-clinical results, it's because they are just that, PRE CLINICAL. It's good to be excited, but not wise to get ahead of the process.
The virus is not going away any time soon and with thanksgiving around the corner and x-mas not far behind, there will be no shortage of patients to enroll in a b for c study
from the annual report:
that was my concern when i heard about a few investors/ihub contributors helping to advance discussions of brilacidin with potential influential people. i don't understand how these few individuals would have more information then what has been publicly disclosed... even the long disputed rbl and phri names. It seemed obvious because of previous connections and the june 5th announcement, but at no point prior to the latest pr did IPIX ever mention gmu (or rutgers)
i have been down the ihub/otc road before where a few have privileged info making them more or less consultants of the company as compared to individual investors posting to a public blog. not saying that is the case here, but has been my experience
still bullish with the pre-print finally posted and the fda pre-print ind comments in. Next step seems announcing the formal ind submitted and a trial start date (and potential naming of hospitals/locations recruiting the 120 patients) as well as when interim analysis will be conducted
The company's message was about saving lives in their last pr
a daily spritz up the nose... if it ever comes to market, that should be their slogan
Thanks for the link. i tried searching for it and then my a.d.d. kicked in with all the cookies on my webpages
you missed my point. someone said funds can't buy otc stocks. i gave my example. i believe abrx eventually collapsed but after it made a run from the pennies to over $20
Many many years ago i was in dynagen. Dynagen did a reverse merger and became able laboratories. while it was dynagen, life sciences funds were buying the stock and i think might have been advisors of some sort to the company while it was still under a buck. i guess it depends if those with money believe in the company and are not limited by requirements of trading over $5. it can happen
i guess it's good that djt never mentioned b publicly even though his peeps are aware of it. now it seems b infused masks are the way to go
i figured an election joke would have been better timed
Not seeing Brilacidin here yet. This was a link in the footnote of the preprint when looking at the SI
https://ghddi-ailab.github.io/Targeting2019-nCoV/preclinical/
I did a c&p into excel and sorted high to low SI for those over 100
Not a very big list. As Tupac said, all eyez on me
I did not add the highlights to the below image
if we look at ipix as thomas the little engine, no one wanted to use poor thomas to carry their goods over the mountain until one day thomas proved himself by helping out a broken down train (maybe Remdesivir) climb up and over the mountain to deliver toys to all the boys and girls... i think i can, i think i can, i think i can.... CHOO CHOO
pre-print is out - not just promises any longer
pre-IND complete - opens up door for IND / human trials
surging covid cases - no shortage of trial patient (120)
Pre-Print / Peer Review NIH Link
https://icite.od.nih.gov/covid19/search/
Seems this database will let us know when the bioRxiv gets peer reviewed
Just have to type brilacidin into the query box.
IPIX mentioned a possible 2nd peer review doc coming out of the PHRI, Rutgers. No mention of a pre-print. Would be a nice surprise to get a 2nd B for C government funded research paper.
Link to Rutger's brilacidin bioRxiv author: https://phri.njms.rutgers.edu/faculty-and-research/faculty/theresa-chang/
can't believe we are only up 12 bm since october 1st
lot's of retailers still on the sidelines
a lot of penny stocks that ultimately take off on a big pr like to tease $1.
does a company usually PR or 8k an IND submission?
has there been any clarity on the 30 day wait period post filing an ind before starting a trial?
does a company normally specify the trial start date and hospitals involved?
has anyone heard if gmu is moving forward with in vivo testing?
is there an update on the inhaled version of brilacidin as a prophylactic?
add on studies? IPIX annouced they will have excess B for C IV dosing for additional studies. When would we hear about that?
GMU mentioned in their pre-print that the B for C IV could be studied as a 3 in 1 (not sure if just limited to coronoavirus)
there is a lot of juice to get ipix up over the previous high in the .60's if not above the dollar mark. would love to do something similar to cytodyn that went over a buck, then based around 3 bucks before charging to 10. No one would have ever imagined it could get that high with their s/s.
So Friday we get the pre-print, stock opens around .24 and then sells off rest of the day. Monday we get the pre-ind update and stock pretty much fills that gap. now that the gap is out of the way, let's continue the trek onward and upward
Time to value IPIX like we have a valid covid candidate and not just another fly-by-night trying to cash in on the pandemic.
i think you both have a point about the head scratching phrases used in IPIX prs as it relates to the responses received by the fda, however the more important info is that IPIX today said human trials this Q to commence
i think that is the expectation. flippers making a profit on that gut instinct. a profit is a profit till you avoid looking at a ticker again when you missed out on the parabolic move
right, fingers crossed
B426. that number does not appear on my bingo board
call another number
For anyone who has endured holding the last several months of nail biting, don't let the stall on the way up fool you. IPIX going for the big move soon enough....imho
i think the foundation has been set. this stock has churned the .20 - .30 range for too long waiting out the pre-print and ind. we are there. it's time to get over the .30 and continue upward
i assume other positive announcements would be grants/partnerships/collaborations/etc...
